Feels so greedy to go Military Schools and 2TC... ^^ Tried this BO a few times so far, not that successful for me. But I will test and train it more, usally its good to follow Beasty's BOs :D Iam not used to 2 TC strategies, always going for Civs with 1 TC strats, but might time to learn to manage booming :D
I am a Byzantine main. Whenever I get a matchup with Ottomans I know I am going to get wrecked. Without culverins... you cant defeat the Bombard. I would love a how to defeat the Ottomans video.
yep, before this patch games felt more balanced. Now opposition always picks Ottomans it gets very boring after a while cant play with a slow boom civ such as Byz
@@xB74CKxC4Tx The Ottoman civ is outright cheating. Their units are free, therefore not need for big eco, so more room for army. Bombard is free, the most oppressive siege unit in the game, which is a springald, mongonel and trebuchet all in one. I am a Byzantine main, and I quit playing the game because I couldnt find a way to counter the Ottomans. It wrecked my ladder ranking and games. When they fix it, I will come back to the game.
couldnt agree with you more, that recent ottoman buff was stupid@@GeorgeMasterclass great bombards were quite hard to deal with before now they even got buffed that just absurd I tried berserking with the varangian guards but the Janissaries just melt everything that goes near those bombards
How do you send your villagers to build farms and then start working immediately? Like you send 8 villagers and queue up 8 farms and after they build the first one only 7 continue to build the next and then 6 and so on while the others already work the field
You build a mill, then build 8 farms, then tell them to ONLY BUILD THE MILL then they will spread out and build multiple farms at the same time since they by default build unfinished nearby buildings once complete and each pick a farm to work
several ways, the fastest and simplest way I do it, highlight 8 vills...then shift Q+W (to drop the mill)...and while still holding shift, hit Q+A and click on top of the mill 8 times...and ur done. the vills will build the mill first and then split off to jump on each farm. it takes a little brain to finger telepathy, but the more you do it, it becomes second nature.
Hey Beasty! Have you ever thought of doing build orders for Nomad MegaRandom? That's all my friends play at the moment and starting with 3 workers as opposed to 6 throws off the build orders. Are there not enough Megarandom Nomad players to make it worth it? Or do you feel it is too similar to a regular build order that it's not worth a video?
Since it's nomad you can't really make a dedicated build, it's all random by nature. Anyway if you catch the logic of the civ you're playing with you will have no problem on nomad I guess.
Having no build orders to follow is what makes Nomad great. It relies more on actual skill, game knowledge, and faster decision making imo. Build orders will only get you so far in the game and every good player knows they have to adapt to their opponents.
I am a beginner and just bought age of empire IV anniversary edition but when i try to play skimmish there is no ottoman empire that i can choose do i have to unlock ottoman empire first if so how
It has to be far enough away from berries so that the villagers stay on the landmark. I think it's 2 farms but not sure. I usually try to put it on opposite side of town center from berries

Been playing around with the one tc archer rush but using the free 2 immas for healing, it's been working pretty good, on platinum anyway

Why don't you set up the Istanbul Observatory so it can influence all 5 Military Schools?? Doesnt it increase production by 100%?

It basically doubles the speed your economy grows. It also helps to recover faster when you lose some villagers to raiders
