I feel like the trade wing with the casino thing has several builds within it BY ITSELF where you can eco up via extra vils or early tc by buying stone or wood or add extra farms early or make docks. You can also go for a push by buying wood and making several production or getting the skirmishers to harass early followed by more pressure. You can even go heavy on gold and buy food which gives you crazy amount of food and you can do the culture wing early age up thing to get a fast castle. The Byzantines are complex but I recon as people explore these civs more we will see a lot of variant builds within this civ as well
yes i was a abba main didint play much of those new abba but wow allready felt the diference way more active way more flexible super happy for abba2 ! dlc was WORTH lol @ anyone thinking it be trash haha!!!
I've been using the eco 3 vil upgrade first then 3 barracks into the 4 advisor upgrade for castle then ghulam rushing. It feels like the old abbassid rush but more beefy
Which Culture wing do you choose? personally I pick the military wing with the free upgrades. researching the feudal upgrades becomes a double advancement and i quickly rush off that.
Finally here. The new abbasid. I've been trying this new civ and getting beaten by Japaneses. Not sure what can counter those units but camels are not the way
These new civs are nuts. I'm beating diamonds. These ghulam and camel age 3 are nuts. I like the Bazar more in the beginning but fighting like Mongols or French, spear/archer still better in age 2. Although gamba give me wood for quick production without 15 vils on wood
I'd suggest, don't go with Bazar. Go with horsemen or archers. 1 production only. Then quickly 3rd age to do cross bow ghulam. Keep raiding them. The good about doing archers you can switch to camel archers to the raides. But let them waste resources building peakman or stable before you is also good
I was very upset that they added something like this when I first found out about it... but after trying it I have to admit it's quite fun to have to adapt based on the available trades. They definitely need to fix the corner cases though, 6-8 strong units potentionally instantly spawning on age up is bullshit.
I love ayyubids's camels I hope you will do build order without this casino I don't like RNG I invented fuedal pressure into castle First wing Master Smiths (save 500gold 100 wood and 100 food and 4min for upgrades) 2nd Advancement (fast castle into Lancers+siege to make rams) I would love to see Ghulam rush build but for now I stick to archer/ani cav camel raiders I love them
Man whenever I try to follow build guides I get curb stomped by hardest AI, whenever I wing it I do just fine against them. This game is so damn frustrating. Not even gonna try human opponents.
I hate playing against or as this bullshit. 6-8 strong units instantly without production buildings on age up is utterly broken, and its not even that uncommon. Ayybid mirror is basically who gets better unit gamba too
They are sooo different compared to Abba, variant civs are definitely a gameplay success

if you choose the 300 wood wing one you can FINISH building your second tc around 4:35. that has to be better than the bazaar wing
No they're 2 different builds with 2 different uses

How about maps with gold in front? Maybe an outpost? Also how about water maps. Usually changes a lot in my gold player pov.
Broski, go villagers age 1 then fast age up 2, you can have ghulams out and spamming into there base by like 7:30

did you refer desert raiders? they are too simple to kill, just do archers :D
i know it because i lost my army everytime for mass archers...
Yeah they will certainly be getting hit with the well deserved nerf bat
they need to nerf those damn units those bedousin are way to powerful that early and everyone is copying this build.
