Just started playing the game like 2 weeks ago, it has me staying up relatively late for the first time in a while, well last night at 2 am in a solo ranked someone hit me with that wololo and I about jumped out of my skin lol
Start to play AOE two weeks ago and trying to master Japanese. Still have a lot of problems when face up English or other civilizations who goes feudal rush, looks like the Japanese can’t fight them early, and still lose late game for civis who scales mores. Trying to figure out the main possibility’s of the Japanese. Greeting’s from Brazil your RUclips channel is helping a lot
English is a threat in feudal because of their longbows. But if they try fight with men at arms against your fully upgraded samurai army in the late game, it will be a bloodbath for English
To prevent long bow / spear man combo from the English, just make Onna-Bugeisha + light cav and maintain momentum with samurai and (if horse archer if req)
Once repelled, they either have to wall up where you can pick off builders or remain open ( just go for anything at that point), at this point your food will be sorted with the farmhouse landmark so just look for gold. :)
idk man. Since you're a RUclips content creator, I find it highly respectful. Favoring your career appearance over your public/family appearance is admirable. Anyways, family should love you for who you are anyways
5:00 you can cancel the vills in between. so if you worried about idle tc you can queue vills in case you are not paying attention later, then if you are paying attention just cancel the vills in the middle EDIT: i mean cancel the vill at last second so you don't delay
I agree with this BUT if you get the hang of the game really well and the civ + every second counts for you then getting that vill out instantly is more productive
@@KingofKekw Not complicated honestly, once you make a Daimyo Upgrade, It comes with a free instant villager which is why u dont want to queue a villager since the instant one is gonna be behind all the others. You would rather have the "instant villager" come out first then queue up so that u be more productive if that makes sense
Okay real talk, no hate: Is it really necessary to get that much stone that early? The daimyo gives you literally nothing at first and you waste all that time on stone. Would it not be more efficient to just mine stone until you get to 200 gold OR (I've heard but not tested) get 350 stone needed for TC, and get remaining 30 gold by having one long distance mine trip from 3 vils. This way you let your vilagers from stone way sooner and allow them to build the landmark or get on wood. Daimyo first has literally 1 benefit -dealing few more dmg to the scout. As you do not even have farms then the bonus is waisted time that you invest in getting it. Even if you had 2-3 farms the bonus is not that big I think. If you have mined 500 stone instead of 650 or even 350 stone, you can get the remaining stone by actually mining gold. You are not in a rush to get a bannermen, and I think the bonus wood you can get by leaving stone mine earlier might be crucial in getting your barracks ready earlier in case you are (very likely once scouted) getting all inned. Again: I did not do any math on this, but getting that much stone so early for no real reason other than "meh I might as well" seems like a big opportunity cost that early?
The one thing we aren't calculating is no early wheelbarrow and the wood needed to build 2 forges. On his build there's only 1 forge. And that will heavily delay if we gotta build 2 for both stone and gold
You can do this by sending vills for a gold pickup at the start then send them straight to the stone mine and they will drop their gold into the forge and start mining gold. You get up to around 220 gold to get to 350 stone, then you get the remaining stone you need for Daimyo by mining the gold with the 8 vills which takes about 5 minutes. Daimyo is great but your're trading off very precious early unit production to get the stone for the bannerman. Instead of the 300 stone + cost of the bannerman you can use 300 food/wood + bannerman cost combo to produce nearly 5 more onas which is more valuable at that point in the game vs. 1 bannerman.
How do you handle the issue of Bannerman slowing down the onnas because the Bannerman have less move speed and it slows them down. Is it still worth having the Bannerman with them?
Trying this now. First time went fine, second time not so much but of course I’m just still pretty sloppy. It’s so easy to absent absentmindedly make a lumber camp by mistake. Big oof.
Is there an easy way to select a set amount of units or do I just need to get good at using the click and drag mouse square? Like for example getting the 3 units to food and other 3 to stone at the very start of the game. Thanks
im new to aoe4 and gold atm. 2tc strat was to slow in most games when i just play like japenese english style with early aggression i had more success. but i guess its the division :D

Well, if you're against french or English is very well but while you're building your TC you are already harassed by very strong attack with literally no troops...
What overlay or UI enhancement is he using? It shows the enemy going to tang dynasty shows how many villagers each team has and basically that huge blue bar at the top where we get it?
So what's the advice against japanese if you are playing HRE ? you can't snipe the Bannermen as you don't have Archers and your Men at arms are not ideal vs Samurai .
Fast Castle and MAA+Crossbowman? MAA should do ok against Onna (if they don't just run past you) and I'd think that the Heavy Mace upgrade would wreck Samurai. Crossbows are good against basically all infantry.
