    This car is made for last mile connectivity in developing nations.
    Much safer than a two wheeler or a three wheeler. Please don't compare it with a Car.

      I don't see how this is safer than a 2 wheeler, at least a 2 wheeler will eject you from a bad crash while this thing will be your coffin.

      If you want to call it a quadricycle then they could've at least added headrests and airbags and make it more stable but I understand that such additions would add to the cost but I would think that buying a 2nd hand car would be better value than this pile of garbage

    It was developed as an alternative to three wheeler RichShaw in India. Its primary objective is not to be a car but to be a four wheeler RickShaw. If you view it as a car, you are committing a mistake.

      This is much safer when compared to a tuk tuk .

      It’s far too expensive to be a rickshaw. It’s cheaper to buy a used Suzuki than to buy this. And a Suzuki will give you power windows, Air con, better comfort and slightly better safety.

      01) It is to be used as a Rickshaw and has an engine of a motor-cycle. Please do not compare it with a car.
      02) A used car would be cheaper to buy but not to maintain as a passanger vehicle in India. Rickshaw is used to travel within cities and towns in India. It accomodates people of lower class and lower middle class. People of upper middle class and high class have a car of their own for travel. Bying a car for personal usage is actually a sign of being a person of the above mentiones classes.

  • @AylwinGeorge
    @AylwinGeorge 3 года назад

    Well, It's not strange for car enthusiasts to critique this kit like this. I own the predecessor of this from India TATA NANO. With all its shortfalls I love IT. By no stretch of the imagination, I am not saying it's the safest car or the fastest. I wanted to get my wife out of a scooter and she needed a vehicle that can drive her home from work not getting wet. And this was the cheapest cabin available in a waterproof condition. And to your surprise, it did what we set out for. TATA NANO XTA has A/C, Power steering, Power break, front power windows, Bluetooth stereo, and AMT automatic transmission which does a pretty good job. The safety factor was "0" and I wanted to sell it and get a Datsun redi-GO which has a safer body. My wife said NO! my Fater too, Apparently it had more space and was easy for a senior citizen to get in and get out (they hate to travel in my car :( ). And she gets parking where nobody gets one!. Living in a city where the average speed is less than 29kM/hr I said screw the safety. My advice, suit your car to where you drive and how can you drive.

  • @carza355

    • @angrysocialjusticewarrior
      @angrysocialjusticewarrior 3 года назад

      It would have been a crime. By the were clever and decided to have it classified as a motorcycle instead of a car. So since motorcycles are not expected to meet the same safety requirements as cars, it means they can get away with selling a car like this.
      But at least they did the right thing by not trying to lie to customers about its safety. If you buy this car, you will do so knowing that its not safe.
