I was totally against convertibles until I drove 4 different ones whole traveling. Now I love driving with the top down. So nice having that open air fun

I would pick the Mustang because I think it looks better but I’m not a fan of drop tops. Although being a drop top does eliminate the visibility problem. 👍🏻👍🏻

I had to laugh when in the Camaro you said we don't have enough time to film the top going down lol. Awesome cars forsure, I thought the Mustang sounded better and maybe seemed more valuable as a daily drop top , with a hint of muscle. I love both cars none the less. Great video Joe and Tom!!!
I've owned them both. The Mustang is superior...and, I'm a Chevy guy.
Couple comments. The camero is always a few grand more expensive not sure why. It's not worth that much more. Also the fake vents at the front Joe are to cover where fog lights would actually go in other trims. Lastly not sure if this works for the camero too but the stang makes 305hp on 87 gas but makes 312hp on 93 octane. So not too bad for the stock entry level. Cloth seats suck though

The 2014 mustang v6 - not particularly fast around town but plenty of passing power on the highway. Solid car with pretty direct steering and easy to drive on the highway. Can be made better with mods, but it requires a lot! We're talking shorty headers, intake tube, axel-back, suspension, sway bars, a tune of course, etc.
Mustang all day, better practicality, visibility and looks better IMO. Great video Joe

Every time I see the fifth gen Camaro I always ask why is that Camaro smiling so hard?
well, I do like both cars, however, through the years, I've only owned Mustangs. 5 at last count. Its just a tad bit more appealing to me. maybe I will switch up one day, but I kinda doubt it. I know you sometimes have to work with what you can get your hands on. the different year in the two cars may have had something to do with it, the technology changes a lot from year to year, so that one year difference may be why the Camaro seemed a little nicer. thats not to say I wouldn't take a Camaro, but given a choice, well, once a Ford man, always a Ford man. great review Joe, keep em' comin', thanks.

I’m 6’5 my wife is 5’2 and we have two daughters we wanted a sports car convertible and compared the two and surprising my daughter fits in the backseat behind me when I’m driving in the Camaro much more comfortably than the mustang and I believe it does has something to do with it being a deeper and lower sitting on the drivers side so we ended up getting the Camaro. Just remember when shopping think about all aspects like who will be sitting behind you will they fit?

If I’m getting a muscle car (even the base) I want it to perform, and the Camaro is just way sporter that the Mustang and would just be so much more enjoyable to drive
My only thing is that of wind that comes over the winshield.

Camaro wins for “better buy” because buying a convertible means you can finally see behind yourself (and over to your L and R blind spots) in a Camaro. That’s something most Current generation Camaros can not claim.

I now I’m way late by the 10-14 is my all time favorite mustang model And I found a red 2014 GT convertible never had a convertible before any thoughts??? Before I purchase
Looks wise (even though I’m not a huge fan of the 14-15 Camaro refresh) the Camaro still has way better body lines than the Mustang and looks way better overall I’m just not a fan of that awkward shape the upper grille has on the Mustang and the newer ones still haven’t fixed it

2022. I think that the mustang still looks great but the Camaro a little dated!
I understand that the V6 Mustang has extremely poor resale value, I don't know if the Camaro suffers from the same issue, though.
Mustang wins with exterior/ Engine bay/Boot Space/Hood down noise.
Camaro wins with Interior/Hood (roof) /Tech.............Mustang wins on soft top livability.

Recent Camaros are butt ugly. They look like they have no top and the front is all bumper. I'm a fan of Euro styling and the black Stang has nice lines like Euro convertibles.

I'll be honest with you I think I like better the Camaro then the Mustang. the Mustang is kind of a rough ride but the Camaro is a lot smooth n more hp. CAMARO have more performance

I love my ‘14 GT in black. Not my daily driver and only has 12500. She puts a smile every weekend when I take it for a spin. Plus the 6 speed manual it’s so much fun!! Nice video.
