Depression is one of the deepest and darkest places within yourself, that you will ever have the experience of undergoing - man it’s hard to dig yourself out of.
The way I would describe it… is sort of like a mere state of existence, where the environment for that existence is the void explained in Genesis; absent of any light.
The level of hatred you experience for yourself is almost like a direct assault on yourself by Satan himself.
I’d imagine that depression is what eternal separation from God feels like… but at a level where the trauma, fear and self hatred fully overtake you, where you’re literally gnashing teeth.
May the grace of God continue to guide you brother Chris. Anybody who thinks depression is a cakewalk… has no idea.

I always thought binge drinking was drinking for days at a time, not planning it. Anyways…going to continue watching.
PS my first bar was when I was 13. Like a little girl playing dress up, I literally walked in wearing high heels too big for me LOL! But bc my bff’s dad was friends w the bartender, we got drinks anyways. My temptations, trials and tribulations wasnt w alcohol but w drugs. I’ll forever be an addict altho by the grace of God I don’t take them anymore. I shouldn’t even be alive to tell u the truth.
I'm an atheist but really enjoy Chris's content. My life is messed up in many ways - I can understand so much of what Chris expressed here, although for different reasons, but just can't bring myself to believe in anything. It must however be brilliant if you can truly dismiss psychology for sincere belief.
Chris seems like a lovely person. I'm happy that he found a path that saved him from the murkiness and emotional destitution of nihilism.
When you finally reach the bottom of your well, the only thing left to do is to look up to the heavens.
Good luck and God bless you. One thing that you could try is to get up early say 7am daily, go to work or do your day then in the evening read you Bible but have no lights or electronics on past 6pm and you’ll get into a natural circadian sleep cycle, which will help stop reading when it gets dark and go to bed. It’s a great time of year to try this. 🙏 I’m praying for you brother.

Fantastic to see what God has been doing in your life. That's so wonderful that that childhood Catholic school set a good foundation for you of the basics of Christianity. How about part 2? What has God done in your life since you became a Christian? You must be about 31 or so now judging by the dates you gave in this video. Have you got married to a real Christian lady (not that girl who was your friend with benefits and a false convert!)? have you got a good church with good sound teaching?

Chris help, I can't stop pornography. I keep going back and forth for years, what should I do? I feel that I am mocking God.
Pray sincerely against it, God answers prayers, you just have to be sincere about it and you will be surprised, I'm a living testimony ❤
