- My first ever trip to America had to be filled with LEGO so I gotta make sure to experience it all! Walmart, Yard Sales, LEGO deals, sightseeing, New York and more!

Black Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving [4th Thursday of November]; in-store deals for most- if not all- retailers), Cyber Monday (the Monday after Thanksgiving; huge deals on most online retailers), and Christmas/New Year’s Eve time period usually have the biggest deals of the year here, unless I’m missing or forgetting something.
During the upcoming summer season, the most common sales periods in the States are Father’s Day and Independence Day on 7/4.
Of course there are random sales for various other things here and there throughout the year, but these are some of the days every year where companies most likely have sales here.
As an American this is pretty much every key event in our day

A very important part of traveling to New York is flying to Newark and wondering why they sound similar. I had the same issue growing up and Newark is my closest international airport.

I'm American going in my dream trip to Paris after 6 years of saving and over a year of planning. I'm going to the Lego store there! When it's a sight you want to see, it's important! And I just found out about Lego passports yesterday, so I'm excited to get that stamped too!
Did you flash your LEGO passport at the immigration officer and say you are a LEGO brand ambassador? I think this works.

When Lego had their flagship store (i was a regular) across for the Rockefeller roller skating rink, I saw so many tourists loading up on lego. Overheard many say that the regular retail prices in the states were way better than where they were from.
Man, that 60 second Lego Store sweep would be just about any Lego fan's dream. I would immediately focus on getting the modulars and the Rivendell Set and luckily they are all right in the same place. XD
For me: Rivendell, The Knights' Castle, the Grand Piano, Disney Castle, a bunch of Harry Potter sets, several Classic and Creator sets.
Honestly, Legoland California is so much bigger than Legoland New York. It has two hotels, an aquarium, two waterparks, and a truly enormous park! I'd recommend visiting the West Coast next time you travel to America.

Walmart always has a clearance aisle. That's where I usually find Lego deals. Also, some Walmarts have more Lego clearance than others. We have 3 Walmarts in our area and there is one that will sometimes have large sets marked down 50 percent. The one closest to me had almost everything in the whole Lego aisle on clearance once. I missed the best stuff but I still grabbed a couple things. So it's really hit or miss.
I saw in Walmart Lego Classic 10696 $50... As usual it is 27$...

As a Polish guy living in the US now... yeah, the Walmarts are the most underwhelming thing and even annoying too :) Targets are decent though. The LEGO discount stuff - those are fairy tales!

I am extremely late to this video and this won’t get noticed, but this is the funniest video Tiago has ever made that I’ve seen. Watching your reaction to losing was hilarious, albeit sad. And your sheer disappointment in Walmart made me laugh out loud.

IME, other than particular holiday sale periods , Lego discounts in the US are unpredictable and mostly online, not in stores. And much less common and less significant than the discounts I routinely hear about from European retailers. So I’m not surprised you didn’t find much.

I didn’t even realize there was a third Legoland in the US. I thought it was just California and Florida. Just like you have both Disney and Universal in those states as well.
Middle of nowhere in New York state makes no sense to me!
The largest Walmart in the US is right near the Legoland park, just a few minutes away in Albany NY. If that’s not the place you went I recommend it lol

I would first go to grab the UCS Lego Star Wars sets

3. Razor Crest
Then I would take all that stuff over to the Icons and pile them all up
4. Rivendell
5. Lion Knight's Castle
6. Loop Coaster
7. Boutique Hotel
8. Jazz Club
So it's basically LEGO Racers 2 with a glow-up, huh? I'm down for that.
