It really is! Great studio space! I don't believe a first year student can live in these - Exchange is an upper year student residence. You can apply for year-round housing in your first year, in which you can choose Exchange as a place you want to live.
I believe I got it from one of the vendors that popped up during move-in day! I think I have also seen them at most dollar stores and home hardware stores!
Hey I just want to ask about the new first year focus program offered by the UBC Science program. Have you heard of it and do you have any thoughts of it? I just got the offer and I'm not sure whether I should accept that. Ah also will the things taught in high school be taught again for the first year of UBC Science? I don't know whether I should still keep memorising the things that I prepared for the ib exam
Hi I actually had not heard about this until now. It sounds a lot like Science One. Your professors have the expectation that you know all the content from high school - they won't spend any time reviewing it in class.
Is it possible to live on campus in a single connected room with girlfriend/boyfriend? (different genders, first year) We both got admitted to the same program
I am not sure but I think if you both requested a connected single and requested each other it could be possible! I know a couple people of opposite genders that did live together via a connected single and to be fair, UBC isn't going to know you are in a relationship when you put in the request :)
what a cute little room! and i'm 5'1 too so i'll have to bring a stepstool if i get residence in exchange haha!
It looks great!! Very compact yet complete which seems to be the perfect fit for college students
thank you for this video!! i’ve been wanting to see an exchange studio so this was perfect :)

i’ll be applying to sauder for fall 22 term and i’m so excited!!!!!!

It’s actually looks so spacious! Can a first year live in these?
