Any info or recommendations to address the supposed issues with the Lift limb issues? Buy one or keep shooting the what I have? A lot of talk about this that no dealer dares to address. Looking to get the perfect all around bow for a 30.5-31"DL and the lift specs scream greatness but........
My top limb cracked within 2 days and less than 50 shots. My first flagship bow ever and now I’m dealing with this. Spent over $2,800 to be paranoid after every shot. Great
Hey guys, love your podcasts, don’t miss a single one! A few videos ago if I didn’t misunderstand I thought Josh said you couldn’t shoot the new Sevr 4 blade in practice mode, if I did understand I apologize but I’ve been shooting 2 of them into rinehardt targets all summer with no problems, also they fly to perfection with my field points. 😃
Love it! If you are in a tree stand and you have a shoot able Animal coming in. What is your process timing wise to get your bow and standing etc? To the point where you are pulling back? I feel like I struggle with that and possibly waiting too late.
For those bad cell areas you can get a cable antenna that you can run higher up the tree, won't fix every area but I've had it help in those areas that have service sometimes and then lose it other times.
MFJJ, will you please, for the love of god, do a video in regards to what Mathews is doing with the limb delaminating on the LIFTs. Explain what is happening, why you possibly think it is happening, what bow shops are doing as well as the process. Is Mathews paying the dealers to replace the limbs at said shops. How many have you seen delaminated? Any thing would help with social media and the RUclips certified bow techs we have roaming the groups.
Would love to see a pod or video on equipment and tuning for long draw 31” plus and short draw less than 27” guys. Best bows, arrow weights and spines etc.
MFJJ I'm so happy to hear about the energy theory! I was hunting for a cow or spike elk (Tribal tags started Aug 1st for me in Oregon), but I was sitting in my stand and the elk were coming in and only when I decided "I'm going to shoot that one" and it happened twice the elk legit locks them up and takes another trail away from the shot window.
I appreciate your honesty about going to full time “RUclipsr”. As someone starting out, it does seem very unattainable to ONLY do RUclips at some point. Good pod 🤟🏻
I bought a general back in the day from Josh when they came out. My buddy still has it lol great bow but definitely heavy. Think there was an Airbourne model as well
Serious question. Why do we have to shim cams? I mean I know why but I’m asking why do we have to do it? Why can’t they make the bows symmetrical and lined up out of the box?
I started with a handed down Bowtech 82nd airborne and I remember my dad losing his mind about how fast it was! I just had to look up the year and I see it was ‘08 alongside the general! 😅😎
I got to shoot the exalt 35 it's nice for sure. Shot it,core ss,the ethos and alpha x. Love the core ss draw but the hoyt felt best in my hand. The grip is phenomenal imo
On the topic of the hecs suit, my dad actually had a set of it and we have found that it works much better on birds. There are times we would sit in a tree stand not wearing it and not see birds around us at all, versus sitting in the same stand with it there will be birds 3 feet away from us constantly. Maybe its just coincidence but i firmly believe it works.
I’m with Tim, still got the silverback but MFJJ brings up some good points! I think you could argue either. Cool to see your own question come up on the pod!
AUSTON tx tells you every thing you need to know about ranch ferry . he's got his his deal "shooting hogs witch is an ar 15 kind of thing . I don't think he even hunts game animals
I had a darton bow break in the middle of the riser when they first came out. It came back and hit me in the head and nocked me to the ground lucky it didn’t kill me.
I'm glad a lot of people are finally realizing that Ranch IS the problem. He's been using his "ignorance" to scam people for too many years now. There have been too many people willing to educate him and he's turned them all down. Because if he isn't "ignorant" anymore he can't keep making his false claims. He's painted himself into a corner and has no way out. Any direction he goes will force him to backslide on his business model. And he can't do that. Too many people have too much money invested in him and need him to keep pushing his narrative so they can keep capitalizing on it. I'm hoping eventually enough people will realize that buying an arrow test kit isn't how you tune a bow. If you tune the bow you don't need an expensive test kit. You also won't need a ridiculously heavy arrow to fix a penetration problem that wasn't caused by arrow weight in the first place. More and more industry experts that actually know what they are talking about are finally standing up to him. But unfortunately RUclips doesn't care if your information is correct, it only cares if you are generating clicks.
John Dudley offered to give the fairy shooting lesson and MFJJ offering tuning lessons. I’ll be surprised if he takes either one of you up on your offer. He thinks all you need to do is nock tune and use heavy arrows with single bevel broadheads.
Grizzlies get into all out half hour death matches. Gorrillas get into 20 second bopping matches they're intent in fights are not the same and any animal guy will agree. The intent in a scuffle between two beasts of this caliber is the deciding factor if nothing else.
I follow the RF and like a lot of his stuff because its more knowledge in a field I'm new in but quickly falling in love with. My one problem with his content is, it seems like he is so stuck in one form of thought. I want to see hear and read about all forms of data that way when I spend my money and set up my gear I can be the most ethical hunter I can be.
Almost no sense MFJJ & Ranch Fairy get together. You guys are on totally different pages. RF page is 8 yards, MFJJ page is 100 yards. It’s like MFJJ setting up a bow press for guy with recurve. Also I’m voting for the Grizzly.
They took down the original video due to audio issues and re launched it with the issues fixed…in case you didnt realize that, unless it was on the recent newly launched one

@@JoshandTim ah, man! Can we get a teaser? Good news or bad news??
@@JoshandTimThank you. Maybe Mathews will have a response once it gets more attention. The amount of failures are getting ridiculous

Less than a month for me.
Update on drawboards? also can we get a video about yoke tuning?

Does any of the last chance presses come with the 2024 mathew’s lift 29.5 fingers or do you have to buy them separately also?
Great job with Q & A guys! Also with the audio!

Speaking on limbs blowing up what's going on with the Lift's limbs cracking? Mine cracked and my local shop had them warrantied but still a concern.
For those bad cell areas you can get a cable antenna that you can run higher up the tree, won't fix every area but I've had it help in those areas that have service sometimes and then lose it other times.
What wpuld you set your pins to if you had to have a fixed 4 pin sight with a bow shooting 250fps?
20/30/40/50

I second this comment.

😂😂 MATHEWS isn't going to let MFJJ say anything negative towards their product.

love the Q&A any update on the development of the fletching jig?

Where can we submit Q&A questions? Would love to hear y'all's opinions on the best options for a youth bow.

I have a kairos and I had a Verdict, the letoff adjuster on my kairos has moved on me, I added a bit of loctite to it and never had an issue after.
Serious question. Why do we have to shim cams?
I mean I know why but I’m asking why do we have to do it? Why can’t they make the bows symmetrical and lined up out of the box?
Thanks to MFJJ, I know work on my own bow. I feel that it's important to learn how to work on your own equipment.
Awesome guys the sound is perfect gentleman
What is the best bow for 24.5 draw length to hunt elk in an area like utah?

Tim looking sharp with the new haircut.
The wolf on your mug is the Stark Dire Wolf from Game of Thrones.
What kind of insert/point combo gets you to 15% FOC? 29.5" arrow btw.
Do at least one q&a a month it gives all your viewers a chance to ask question you’ve never thought of

silverback headlocks grizzly its over (tc)

So when Elite comes out with a longer ATA carbon bow under 4lbs this year Josh will be happy?
I had a darton bow break in the middle of the riser when they first came out. It
came back and hit me in the head and nocked me to the ground lucky it didn’t kill me.
That bow in a 30” would be a killer whitetail setup
How many lift limb issues have came through the shop? My bad is on his third set 🤯
