The fact that the was course was tough was exactly what made it so much fun. The best course I’ve ever shot by far. It was also a pleasure meeting you. Good times.
More 16-18 year olds need to hear Tim’s exact phrasing of trying to understand and analyze for themselves the cost of their degree vs. expected income.
Bought a lift from ya guys and that 2hrs with Dan getting the bow tuned to me with the arrows I built after watching your arrow builds was an experience I share with everyone who talks about buying a new bow. Really sky rocketed my confidence was amazed how fast I was able to make a sight tape stacking arrows and doubling my practice range.
I have been having the same issue with the halo nocks. Victory vap tko 300 spine 55gr victory insert 100g tip. If i hit the dirt or something hard, the nock blew up and i had to pull the battery side out with pliers.
Damn guys i follow yalls regular channels but just ran across these podcast vids. Love what i hear. Very informative. Yall have a new sub for sure. Wish ta hell u guys were closer to Oklahoma so i could have experienced help settin my shit up lol. Theres absolutely nobow shops within 2 hrs of where i live. It really sucks.
I shoot Black Eagle Spartan arrows, the only lighted nocks I could find that were made for that diameter are New fletch Ignitor nocks, I’ve been shooting them for several years and they have been fantastic! I did reserve my bow strings to a smaller diameter to achieve a better fit for my liking. I am shooting a pair of Elite Echelon bows I bought off the Podium website and they are fantastic also! I’ve learned more tips from MFJJ, Elk Shape and DUD by far than any other channels and really appreciate you guys! Also love your channel Tim, you put a whole different positive spin on things for us average shooters as a novice shooter, also try never to miss a Josh and Tim podcast, you guys are great! Geesh, with all the a$$ kissing I’m doing I’d think you guys were giving something away on this episode! 🤣😂🤣 God Bless!
39:16 my question goes to the grip. I love the grip, but hate bare metal for winter. Tim, are you goin to wrap yours, and with what ? I would hate to wrap a beautiful grip and lose the feel of said grip. Other than that, ive always loved Elite products.
Deepower off Amazon. Between my son and I we've shot about 3 dozen of them (.204 and standard diameter). We run them on all our arrows even for target practice, hence the reason why we go trough so many. They are a fraction of the price of name brand. We've only seen one or two abnormally fail out of 3 dozen. At the price, I can live with that. Otherwise the they function great with a very easy to use switch on the side.
@@critter852004 I cracked the first one yesterday, but it was from an almost “Robinhood”. I’ve been using them for about 2 years and shoot almost daily and never had one just crack.
I've shot the same firenocks for years. As far as durability goes, I can't imagine anything better. There are negatives to them, but they just work. At the end of the day, I'll spend more and deal with more to know I have something reliable. I enjoy the podcast, and keep them coming.
Learning to serve my string to get a perfect nock fit might be the best thing I ever did for accuracy. Dudley’s videos have helped me tuning my bow so much.
Curious if the increase in popularity of 4 and 5mm arrows and associated smaller micro nocks has changed nock fitment in comparison to standard diameter arrows of the past.
Can't tell you how smart a decision it was to sync the weekly video launches across the three channels to Monday morning. At least from this knucklehead's perspective, you've recreated appointment viewing. Danke
I have a 2017 prime, synergy hybrid, and have ran into an issue where I ran out of clearance for my rest and still having a slight knock high tear. Would the only solution there be moving up the loop? My local pro shop (Scheels) has no answers for me
Followup question. How can you measure a strings installed center serving so you could determine what diameter serving to buy so your nock fit is better?
Weird question but does anyone have a 30" cam for a switchback XT? I can't seem to find a right handed one anywhere. There are no dealers close to me so I was hoping to find one on eBay but no luck.
I love the Nockturnals, but I hate that they changed their mold because now my old burnt out nocks for practice are too sloppy in a nocking point tied for the new design.
I'm having trouble with my nock fit. It's way to tight. Is there a way to find a nock that fits properly without buying a dozen from 6 different companys?
Hey, i would love to hear your opinion on Prime bows. I got a hold of a used Prime Logic CT3 and i like it and it shoots great, but not a lot of reviews or info on Prime bows.
Another awesome podcast guys. My extent of bareshaft tuning is 1 arrow until I get a bullet hole, then a couple months of field tips before switch to broadheads 3-4 weeks before the season. I only shoot out to 50yds right now. But, I'm a treestand hunter, so that's way farther than I'll ever shoot out of a tree.
Tim if your coming to Colorado you need to come up north to Fort Collins and check out Rocky Mountain Archery. That’s where I got my bow. Would be cool to meet you.
I'm sure this has probably been said and I don't know if it's been done but either. Just an answer to third access shooting uphill and downhill. If their arrows going to the right uphill does your scope need to go out away from you or in towards you? You know something like that. Not too difficult but just a quick one. I know Josh said like if it's shooting downhill into the left your scope has to go in but just a whole explanation would be great
You need to do the good old luminoff. I think they're one of the toughest, but I'm not sure about their micro diameter because it I believe it's at 204 sleeve that goes over the arrow with which adds a bunch of weight to the back of the arrow. Maybe they came out with a new one though. That's 166. If they did they're going to be the best I feel. But I was having them explode with me as well but it wasn't. The glory knock. It was the I believe that they were made by one of them was nap and the other one was from victory. I believe they were breaking off. They weren't a good design. They were bright though

A 70k starter home 24 years ago is absolutely not comparable to a 300k starter home today in most markets. Home ownership is still a smart investment but you better have serious cash if you want to do what Josh is talking about. Love the pod but let’s stick to archery and not financial advice.
Sadly I had the opposite experience at 21, bought house GFC hit, almost lost job, almost went bankrupt until could sell house 12months later But in general he's right
Lit lighted nocks are my new go to nocks flying arrow make one that's very similar but I've had more come not working out of the package but I like the lit nocks so much more than halo nocks
The San Diego zoo is a must do when in that area. I’m not necessarily a zoo person but it’s amazing. I had a buddy years ago that should know what poison oak is because we have it everywhere in SE Arkansas. While hunting, he needed to take a dump and leaned up on a tree with poison oak growing all over the side of it. Not having toilet paper 🧻 (amateur mistake), he grabbed some poison oak leaves to wipe. He had an unpleasant couple of weeks.

Buying homes is a calculated risk, and every area appreciates at different rates. The areas that appreciate the most can also depreciate the most, and if you ever have to short sell or foreclose you're wrecked for a good 8 years and won't own anything. See Florida around 2008. Risk and reward. Real estate has made millionaires, but has also generated a lot of bankruptcies. Highly recommend investing 15% of your income in a passive low fee S&P 500 index fund like VOO... even if you know nothing about investing you'll be a multi-millionaire when you retire if you start early. College is the worst investment you could ever make unless you're in STEM.

Yeah but not everything on Amazon is a knockoff product like there's a set of broadheads that are sold on there. I think it's deep impact or something I forget but it's a set of Brothers out of Illinois or somewhere that make them and they just sell them on there because that's who they can sell through. They're really good but I guess if it says if you know it's a direct knockoff or something I'm just just putting my sense in
Need a video comparing the same weight, field point weight, and fletchings with the only difference being shaft size (12mm vs 4mm). I been doing some long range shooting with VTAC 27s and it is wild how short of distance they go versus the same weight 4mm. Its obvious but i think would make great vid anyways lol
