Were you letting the E46 by? He should have sent it earlier on your left side when there was a gap or position his car to your right rear to block the E36. I think positioning his car on your right rear would have been the safest option while keeping the E36 behind.
As far as i know The driver in the E46 was given 13month ban. I was in E36, thought I could squeeze through but decided to bail into grass when i saw the contact.
I drove quite a few track events at Road Atlanta and I never saw anyone that reckless! We had rules about passing...did that not exist at this VIR event?

In forza people treat track days like they're winning a Nobel prize and many straight-up just ram anyone in front or pull this type stunt. Makes you wonder if these people learned racing from simcades.
Looked like multiple classes racing at the same time. Quite common at club level as their aren’t enough cars in each class to have just one class race. The e46 should have read the situation better and waited 2 more corners and passed on the start/finish straight

Looks like it's an actual race not a hpde. Passing rules will be different. But that is reckless no matter where you are.
