I got one from Amazon coming today!!! Nervous about the curve but for $896 I decided to be an optimist so I went for it. Ill post a video of my thoughts but thank you for the info, it helped!
Just incase you didn't know, that monitor utilities the updated MLA+ technology. Only the top of the line lg G series has that tech. The C serious do not have this and that's why it looks and is brighter that your C2. Also, every other week, lg and bestbuy always have a promotion for their lg monitors. I've seen their 45 in go for 1100 when msrp is 1699. The only one that they haven't slice the price on is their new 32 inch 4k monitor. Lg is really trying to sell them but i think because of the matte finish and the price people are not picking them as much as the new qd-oled. I'm like you, lg tv's all over my house, they do make good quality products. I've seen burn in stress test on their oled tv and they lasted longer than the qd-oled tv. I know people who have the c1 running non stop and have no issues with burn in or anything so yep, I'll be getting this monitor this week.
Best Videos for the LG 39 ultragear! I am torn between this LG 39 ($899), the LG Ultragear 45" (older model $999), Or the Samsung ARK Gen 2 55"($1799), I am currently using a 32" 1440p IPS. I think I will like the 39" a lot, but I would like something more immersive, the 45" seems to be the best size for me, but the res is too low for the size maybe? the ARK is a crazy monitor, but I believe I will break my neck or ruin my eyes using that thing, lol, what you think?
I am really satisfied with the 39 inch I suggest finding a store that has both on display and checking them out in person the 45 inch looked much bigger to me

Why would you buy a 7900xtx? After making a video saying the 4080 isnt worth it after the 4070 super and the same with the 7800xt to the 7900xt? Like what will the 7900xtx offer you over the xt other than a few extra frames that you've already said isnt worth paying extra for like 2 days ago 😂😂😂. Man i'm so confused......

@c523jw7 if it only offered 10 frames and was $400 it would be incredible value 🤣. In the same way 40 series cards can't do raytracing to the point it's a factor in purchasing but the excitement on RT for the 8800xt is real 🤣🤣🤣
i got lucky at christmas and got the 45 inch version for 899. then i had $100 bucks in best buy certs. so i only paid $799 for it. the ppi when gaming makes no difference.
I dont quite see the pixel density compared to your c2. I see like ps1 textures on this new monitor. Everything looks cell shaded compared to your c2. My eagle eyes just picked it up. Does it come in 4k?? 😀😏 It must look good, iv told you ultra wide looks great and really can extend the life of these gpus. 3440x1440 is a good resolution. If it looks great at 39 inches, that gives me confidence of that res at 34 inches.
@Spratty-wb3is yeah that's why I'm sticking with my lg 32" 4k. Was going to go ultrawide but decided against it. Eventually will get a 32" 4k oled though😊

I probably should have thrown meat diet helped me see better lol. 27 inch 4k monitor damn no wonder you can't go back to 1440p. I got 50 inch 4k tv, really undecided about getting a 34 inch uw monitor. I just feel like spending some money lol. It's also my defence mechanism in fighting off 50 series fomo. I can drop res on my TV...to basically anything but wouldn't mind the curved screen...I feel like spending some cash man 🤣😂
@giarc00007 4k ultrawide is ridiculously expensive. I need to see what 3440x1440 looks like at uw to see if I like it. 1440p on my 50.inch tv just looks really bad.

Yeah I am very happy with this 39 inch I am playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey on it right now and it's absolutely beautiful 😍 great HDR.
You don't lose fps going from 34 to 39 inch 3440x1440p right? Both same res.

34" UW is 110.
His C2 was 104.
And my 27" 4k is 163 😂...

Who cares 240 hertz you can't get there even with 4090 tired of that being a selling point u guys are lost.
My 7900XTX with AFMF gets there almost every time
