Only just decided to give crochet a try as I just finished knitting a blanket and had leftover yarn. Found you on RUclips and I have to say out of all the beginners videos I have watched, you gave the best instructions and explained everything very good. Thank you!! I'm absolutely loving learning with you helping me along the way!!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Today was my attempt at a rectangular granny square. Your excellent instructions and the diagram allowed me to get it right on the first attempt. I am thrilled that I learned something new today.
Thanks Mikey. Super neat looking pattern and now I'm heading out to buy more YARN since I'm on row four and have a brilliant idea for the second color I will use with Easter just around the corner and I can use it as a gift. Great tutorial. best regards.
Thank you for the video, if I wanted to use a super chunky yarn and an 11.5mm hook how would I adapt this patter to accommodate the change in yarn and hook size?
Thank you Mikey for the tutorial and all your great tutorials! This is the best rectangular Granny, so far that I have seen in a video! Question: When continuing to crochet in the same color from the ending corner, would it alright to ch 1 & hdc? Or, do a dc for the ch 3, in order to carry on with the same color yarn? T.I.A.
I have yarn but sure what ply to use...can anyone help me. I looked online and this type of yarn is a 4 ply, is this what everyone used. As you can tell I am a beginner.

I always wondered how to crochet these "holey" afghans. Had no idea it was so easy. I think I need to go to Michael's tomorrow to buy more yarn. Haha

LOL!!!! I'm never early enough to be the first to comment because of the time difference between Mikey in Canada and myself in the UK.
