Well I couldn’t find it on the files but I went back to the amd website to get the previous drivers and rolled back 21.4. With my rx 580 the newest update kept doing driver timeouts and with the rollback it helped a lot. Anyone with a rx 580 rollback the newest ver will give you a driver timeout. Thank you so much!!
Great and simple video ALSO bonus... the old drivers never seem to get deleted! I freed up literally GB's of space on my C drive by just manually deleting the really old drivers I had.

Thanks for this. Optional update 21.9.1 was suggested by Deathloop but it has a lot of problems. Going back to 21.8.2 fixed everything right up.

THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH. My PC's been unusable since the last driver update, *constant* driver timeouts when I use basically any application that isn't a game. Hope they fix it soon, but until then, this has been a life saver.
Did it fix the annoying tdr error message? Coz god damn I haven't used my pc since the update came out

If I rollback my drivers will my games run worse? I needed to update my amd drivers because my valorant No longer has stable fps, but the driver updates are messing up my pc
@@tombwady3330 Try out the newest driver. It’s like 21.71 smth like that it’s stable for me and I use rx 570

i downloaded this new verison of the driver and it doesn't let me rollback like is there to download the olderverison of the driver its made my games go to 17 fps i don't know what to do.
Update 22.8.2 made it so when I right click my screen it doesn't show the AMD software like I used to be able to see. Why is that always a bug with these updates?
i have a folder "radeoninstaller": inside there is different folders, there is a setup in the "minimalsetup" folder. is this?
This video helped a ton, ever since i installed 21.4.1 my rx580 drivers started crashing and restarting for no reason but this solved it
On god i just updated by mistake and my pc is crashing bad. Its 8:15pm EST and now my AfterBurner aint working too and my shit crashing.
21.31 is the only stable version i was able to download too. Im lucky the 21.3.1 folder was still in my amd version.

If you see windows telling you have no right, right click the folder -> Security -> edit -> users and grant full access.

dude thanks you so much ive been searching far and wide to find a solution for this. reasons why its because the 22.7.1 broke Sony Vegas pro 17 which whenever i put any video effect the color inverted on the video. some people tell to install a plugin but i prefer this for now till they will update to 22.8

My pc's performance in general has just gone down, some games run way less fps than they have before. It started before even 21.3.1, but in the amd folder there's only the 21.4.1 installer, nothing else.
I just updated mine to 22. 10.3 and I wanted to roll it back to the last version because I noticed 22. 10.3 gives me lower fps than usual and when I try to roll back it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

If you uninstalled the driver and it disabled amd adrenaline and u then redownloaded it your screwed because you only have the newest install version I hate computers
Thank you so much the new update was making Fortnite lag uncontrollably for me so I had to rollback to 22.4.1 because the one before the most recent wasn't showing up for me in my files

What do I do if the "Roll Back Driver" choice is greyed out and won't allow me to select it?

Just updated o recent drivers, 20fps drop in main game i play, not havin that. Ive recently deleted any old installers so im going to have to find some other way to roll back.

I could only downgrade from 22.2.3 to 22.2.2 since my computer is fairly new. How do downgrade it even further, if i cant find a folder in the C driver under AMD below 22.2.2? (Cyberpunk requires me to downgrade it further in order to fix some major ingame issues).

i am gonna try because if i enter any game once in 2 minutes it gives me screenshake like tv for a second I hope it will fix my problem

I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 with the RX 580 and for whatever reason after the latest update it screwed up the graphics in the game. my character in the inventory is a black silhouette, same with people during phone calls, and every interior place in the game is so dark it's like there was a power outage. Can't see anyones faces or anything.
i would not know as i do not play cyberpunk
@@N4feYT I’m hoping to score a 3070 ti sometime after Christmas. Hopefully I have a much better experience. As for now I’m going to roll back my graphics card and see if it fixes the issues I’m having.

I got an update and now i cant play cod. It loads up then crashes. I completely uninstalled radeon and reinstalled it and i could finally play cod again. Then i got an update and can no longer play. I followed these steps but in my folder i have updates 20.12.1 all the way through 22.11.2. what should i do?
