if you don’t enjoy reading non fiction then I feel like that doesn’t need to be a part of your challenge! There is a lot of misinformation about what kinds of books someone should read for “optimal” health but it is proven that reading fiction is good for your brain, and fiction specifically helps prevent dementia through the act of piecing together a storyline and practicing using your imagination. So do what feels best for you!
wait this is so good to know! i still am reading a fiction book alongside the power of habit i think I just don’t really like the specific book i chose in general for the “self-help” 😅 definitely will be choosing more carefully for my next one but am considering doing a less traditional self help book. Anyways thanks so much for this info! 💕 and thank u for watching
this was the first 75 hard video that was so relatable for me! you’ve definitely motivated me to start. good luck with the rest of the challenge and thank you 😊
absolutely interested in more 75 hard vlogs! i feel so motivated by this video to start my own 75 hard cuz man do i need it... also on the gardening, since you're in an apartment right now, maybe you could try a hydroponic garden!! its an indoor water garden that can pretty much be as big or as small as you want, just wanted to mention that cuz gardening and harvesting your own herbs/plants is so much fun. great video as always!! xoxo
Yay!!! It's becoming just part of my lifestyle now which feels good :) I wish I could have a little cheat day here and there but that's part of the "mental toughness" i guess haha and I know its not forever! and I love the idea of the hydroponic garden. I used to live by this place that had so much supplies for that kind of stuff I wish I got into it then :( but yes the fresh herbs is such a dream so I'm definitely going to look into this more and I'll have to document the process if I do!
Maybe consider actually not turning back to eating meat? It’s one of the best things you can do for the environment and also your health. There are so many alternative protein options! Love your videos!
Okay thank you for this input!! It's good to know that it might just be a bit of an adjustment period :) Do you find that you feel better without the excess added sugars?
Defooo wanna see more 75 hard videos! it’s so interesting, would love to see how you get on and how it feels in a couple weeks time! but if you’re worried then maybe do a monthly update 🥰 also idk why I’m noticing now but your hair is soooo long it looks beautiful! big love 💗
I'm thinking monthly will be good to notice real differences! :) & Thank you on the hair comment! I've been wanting to grow it out for a while now and its getting there!
from someone with a widow´s peak: i neverrr notice it on other people even though it used to be one of my top insecurities. so just know that it is 100% in your own head and you looked great in that hairstyle!
@@minigru.studios i believe so, but since i also had an eating disorder it’s probably also because i finally started eating enough and it was also a toll on my mental health to have such a restrictive diet while recovering. but still, i’ve never felt as good as i do now when i eat all foods in a balanced way, both mentally and physically
Loved the video! I was a vegetarian for 6 years and at some point I started feeling like my body craved meat again. I started eating a little bit of chicken and then slowly eating red meat as well, small portions in the beginning. I never had any problems with my stomach doing it this way. But it was super strange in the beginning and it took me a while to actually try the first bit of meat after not having it for 6 years lol
Thanks for the input! I feel the same way! I also HATE being vegetarian when it comes to sharing food with family and friends because of people feeling the need to accommodate me haha idk if you were like this as well but thats also a reason I wanted to eat meat again even though I can eat however I want when I'm cooking for just myself. I wanted to get over the mental block so I could at least try foods when I'm out of my own kitchen ya know? Anyways thanks so much for watching & commenting!
I’m not an expert, but I know cortisol spikes during a workout. Your body might not have time to recover and regulate your hormones between workouts. Also as an ex-vegetarian, I had no problems with chicken and pork, but the high-iron content in beef is harder to digest. You might react to beef similar to how an iron supplement would affect you!
I've been reading about the cortisol spikes as well! I've adjusted to only really two high impact workouts a week and doing a lot of yoga pilates and walking otherwise and that seems like a good split for now! As far as the beef I've ate little bites of steak here and there and it seems okay so far introducing it slowly! Thanks for all your input I appreciate it very much :)
I liked these video just like your other content :) I feel like I could never do this challenge (as an easily overwhelmed autistic person) so it's nice to see how it goes for you!
Hi! ❤ I really enjoyed the video! You’re doing a great job on 75 hard! It’s inspiring me to maybe try it out! A “self help” book that I recently read and enjoyed was ‘Quarter Life’ by Satya Doyle Byock, it may interest you! Take care! 🥰
I also was eating vegetarian and then transitioned back, but Instead of red meat like ground beef I use ground turkey. the only red meat I eat is an occasional steak or burger. Have you tried using ground turkey instead?

Good!! I think my best advice is to start slow and just build a routine as far as the work outs go. & listen to your body on what it needs that day :)

when ive cut out sugar, i had really low blood sugar while my body adjusted! it felt like crazy anxiety but it was just my diet changing :)
Okay thank you for this input!! It's good to know that it might just be a bit of an adjustment period :) Do you find that you feel better without the excess added sugars?

Ooo I'll have to try out ground turkey! Thanks for the suggestion :) I assume you can pretty much substitute it in any dish that uses ground beef?
@@minigru.studios exactly! 😊
When I drink more coffee than I usually do, my anxiety increases a lot. Not sure if that helps or not
oh yeah my anxiety is BAD with too much caffeine but I love coffee :( so might have to switch to half caf or decaf haha
Awesome👍
thank you!!!! :)
@@minigru.studios You're welcome👍
First
