i'm going to try to make this not too long, but i have a few things i'd like to say so please bear with me lol. first of all, happy new year! you are such a big inspiration to me. i discovered your videos last year (actually, i think i was introduced to ur channel through the 2022 recap) and i love your work. not only because you have great taste, but because of your style and easy-going attitude as well. i love how watching one of your knitting videos feels like learning a new skill along with you, and how calm and dedicated you always present yourself. i think your videos really enrich the resources available to us fiber artists on youtube and your tutorials are excellent for beginners who are familiarized with a craft or are more intermediate. i've shared some of them with my friends because they really are so high-quality! also, i've tried to make a top like your drop-stitch lilac one from your spring collection (i failed - maybe the yarn was too thin? i'll pick it up again in the future), and you inspired me to buy a sewing machine as well! i don't know how to make paragraphs in a comment from my laptop lol so im gonna stop here so it's not dizzying to read. as a last note, thank you for what you do

I don't have a pattern on the tank top but I made a skirt with that stitch and its pretty much just that stitch with no increases! :)

i just noticed that each spring, i've learned a fiber art! in 2021 i learned to embroider, in 2022 i learned how to punch needle, in 2023 i learned to crochet, and this spring i'm gonna learn to sew!

BERET TUTORIAL PLEASE!!!!
question! im a beginner knitter (ive been crochceting for awhile) and i splurged and bought some yarn for a sweater. i want it to fit like the tan and green striped sweaster you wore throughout the video - do you think that tuorial would be an okay first knitting project? At this point ive only practiced making swatches and figuring out tension
I think this sweater is beginner friendly but a few things that I would practice before starting would be: knitting in the round, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, casting on and casting off. Once you are solid on those things I think the sweater is very doable!! :) I think since you've been crocheting you probably have a good idea on garment construction which should help you. Let me know if you have any questions!
