one script had an even better ending. After beating each other to a bloody pulp, the both fall to the ground, manic lightning erupts in the background and they both get up, jason chops freddy's arm off and freddy slits jason ears off. They become very dizzy until the arms from JGTH grabs them both and sends them to hell, A figure could be seen through a roaring fire, the strange man walks towards the beaten and bloody brutes; he has a pale white face with metal pins on it with a silky black robe, "what seems to be the problem gentlemen". Of course it is not word for word but IMOW.
This showdown was a slasher masterpiece. I re-watched it so many times, I could recite the lines lol. Too bad we never we would see a Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash, that'd be fucking epic. Good review.
Hypnocil is the same drug Nancy was trying to talk the therapist in Dream Warriors into letting the kids take. Badass how that carries over here. Great movie. Came out on my birthday (August 13th) in 2003. Went on opening day with my pops. Great memories and great review!
I went to see it on my birthday on August 29 with my dad too. Think I was turning 13. Great memories for sure and I def noticed the hypnoquil callback.
Freddy Vs. Jason was the best of both! I loved that film. I was for team Jason but I'm a Freddy fan as well. I do wish they'd have gotten Kane Hodder back and if Freddy Vs. Jason 2 ever gets made they just need to bring him back. Interesting fact: Ken Kirzinger was the same guy that Jason through over the dining room table in that caffee scene in Jason Takes Manhattan.
I heard a rumor one time that one of the planned sequels that fell through was that Michael Myers would be in it. Micheal vs Jason would be pretty awesome since Micheal basically inspired Jason in the beginning
Cody McCollum Tyler Mane should reprise his role as Michael Myers & Kane Hodder or Derek Mears should play Jason but I think I want Kane Hodder to play Jason again
Michael never belonged in the same universe as Freddy or Jason. In the 80's it was all about Freddy or Jason. Michael would go 7 years wiithout a film during the peak of slasher films. I love Halloween but Michael is better as being grounded. Also he is a slower and much weaker version of Jason
I can’t put into words how much I adore this movie. Watching this with a group of my friends is one of the high school memories I have that stand out the most. I went back four times to watch it when it was in theaters. And you’re right, the soundtrack is epic. I still have my copy on my shelf. That Ill Niño song is still awesome after all these years.
The script was great. Freddy's make up in this looked better in this in Freddy's Dead. He just looked like somebody that was in the tanning bed too long in that one.
Bro you killed it with this one!!! Great Job as ALWAYS! I bought the soundtrack back in the day (probably same reason) Monica is absolutely beautiful, The fight are AWESOME, You nailed it!!! Great Work!
Really like the dude from Friday the 13 part 3 Jason, he was definitely older, Even back then, but Kane Should have been Jason... One of My biggest downfall with this movie also. FREDDY ALL DAY!!! HAHA 👍👍👍
Probably my favorite part is the cornfield rave and how unstoppable Jason is, to the point where he keep moving even when they set him on fire. Plus, it has one of the best “asshole gets what he deserves” horror movie deaths, where the guy tries to r**e the passed out drunk girl and while she’s being chased by Freddy in the dream world, Jason impales them both with his machete.
But I think the logic behind why Freddy gets one kill is to make Freddy go oh I made a big mistake because in his mind he would have thought it was a good idea to bring back Jason but when he realise that Jason is not going to stop killing he has to stop Jason so Freddy can start killing again without Jason killing everyone.
+GreenPsyco 12 Yeah I agree I still would have liked at least one or two more kills from Freddy. He still would've paled in comparison to Jason's body count.
It's funny nobody ever mentions how Freddy all of the sudden can fight. I grew up watching him get beat up by teenage girls. All of sudden hes bobbing and weaving and stabbing up my man Jason
They'll never make a Freddy vs Jason 2, Englund is done and no interest from Warner Bros/New Line. They did adapt the films screenplay into a comic called Freddy vs Jason vs Ash and that also got a sequel.
Cody, I loved this just as much as you do. I've the DVD version and it's one my top 20 list of my favorite horror movies of all time. I agree with you that Monica Keenan does an excellent job and carries the movie throughout as the protagonist. I thought Brandon Fletcher was much better than Josh Ritter. You're right about the soundtrack, it's banging!
I heard the Brad Renfro was supposed to play will but was having personal demons that kept him from the set. He died shortly after. Would have been interesting to see as I believe Renfro was a superior actor. Have u ever seen Apt Pupil?! One of the most underrated Stephen King adaptations and Renfro killed it.
Found your channel 3 days ago and been binge watching ever since. I love Freddie vs Jason because like you pointed out it found that great mix of scary and comedic Freddie.
Our opinions align perfectly with this one Cody. I don’t know how it could’ve been done better story wise. Freddy doesn’t have any power because Springwood has covered him up and forgotten him. So he lets Jason loose knowing that the town will think it was him, raising their fear, and restoring his power. Really clever, I like it a lot. Now, Friday the 13th is my all time favorite movie franchise. Jason is easily the weakest part of this movie. I don’t like the portrayal. I don’t like the burlap jacket look. I definitely don’t like that they made him afraid of water. As a Jason guy, I was definitely let down by that. But this is Freddy’s movie more than it is Jason’s, and Robert is FANTASTIC. So while not perfect, I still have a great time every time I watch it!
Jason is the best part of the movie. I just don't like that this movie took so many liberties with Freddy and Jason. I get why. They didn't want to upset either franchise and they know Jason would destroy Freddy otherwise. But they took WAY too many liberties for my taste.
I think Jason looked awful in this film. I wish they had the Part 7 Kane Hodder Jason for this movie, that was the major let down for me. Jason looked a wimp.
11:07 Look at this. People don't give this enough attention. It's Freddy going MMA on Jason! Dude, until this movie, Freddy only could swing his fucking claw-glove around when he was in the real world. Look at him go now! Those dodges, those knees, the jumping and the elbow hit! This Freddy wouldn't have gone so easily in "Nightmare on elm Street" 1 and 6. Specially 6. I think this was the director idea. To give Freddy some moves in order to him having some chance in the real world against Jason.
They had an alternate ending they wanted to do, but could not afford it. Giant hand raises up from the lake with both Jason and Freddy in the palm, fighting, then the hand closes pulling both Jason and Freddy down to hell, and draining the lake. They have the father to Monica's character find Freddy's glove, he grabs the glove, a demon hand comes up and pulls both the glove and the father down. They then cut to the demon world where Freddy and Jason fight for the rest of eternity, being entertainment for the devil and his minions. Still like the ending to this movie though.
Good review man. I like the shot of the eels on the bathroom floor. Cool Note: That wasn't in the shooting script, director Yu wanted them in the scene.
My dad took me and my older cousin to see this when it first came out. A guy was wearing a Freddy vs Jason shirt. The theater was packed from top to bottom. I eventually watched both franchises when I got older. I was disappointed when I found Kane Hodder wasn’t Jason a slap in the face to us fans.
Freddy vs Jason was the first nightmare on elm street and Friday the 13th film. With the Jason recast. I think I saw something where Kane hodder did ask to be Jason but Ronny Yu didn’t think Kane was big enough
It's not perfect but Freddy Vs. Jason is a lot better than what people give it credit for! It became a meme to hate this movie over time! I will always love this ultimate death match of Freddy and Jason going at it until the end of time! Great job Cody!
As I watched Freddy Vs. Jason back when I was in the 12th grade as this movie was out in theaters in 2003 I have noticed that Freddy just leaped out of Crystal Lake and fly like Rey Mysterio which is obviously done by a former WWE wrestler who now wrestles in Lucha Underground did most of the stunts since the movie was filmed in 2002.
The reason Freddy only gets one kill "and tbf it's a good one, probably the sickest thing in the movie" is because the plot point of Freddy turning on jason is the fact that Jason keeps getting all the kills before Freddy gets to kill them, "they're my children Jason"
*I love this movie! and I think it was the first modern day Freddy or Jason movie. unlike the other movies where you could tell it was the 80's and 90's just by looking at them*
Yeah, but looking back on old 80’s and 90’s film give that old fashion scare that the new generation lacks. Today it’s about cussing little kids to get comical relief. Though there some 2000’s movie I actually like, just not this one.
Think kens performance is ronny yu fault on the commentary track they talk about how ronny would tell ken slower slower and other stuff that shows ifn the movie
I like how Jason just takes over kill after kills until Freddy brings him into his nightmare and they fight it was a fun movie to watch. I saw it twice in the theater
I just rewatched it today, and though it's not a great film it's one of the better films in the series. I also enjoyed the callbacks to other Nightmare movies. The cornfield slaughter is somewhat like the pool party in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, the subplot around the mental institution harkens back to Dream Warriors and covering up Freddy's crimes like in Nightmare 1.
did you know it was not meant to be Freddy vs Jason it was meant to be Ash vs Freddy vs Jason the only reason why I didn't happen is that Bruce didn't want to do it.
In 2008 there was a 6 issue comic of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. It's worth the read :) and it picks up where this film left off so there is even continuity.
An interesting feature that was included on the DVD was a Fangoria article about the various scripts for this film that had been considered over the years. None of them were very good, and some were horrible. It really reinforces a feeling of gratitude that this is the film we got.
This movie was what got me into the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. I was about 13, and a friend of my dad’s had it on DVD. Freddy’s opening intro with the clips of all the previous films got me curious, so I wound up practically marathoning all 7 movies. I’ve been a Freddy fan ever since.
I like how your intro references one of the promotional bits where Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger went to a weigh in in full Freddy and Jason gear and Michael Buffer was the host.
Look, I got to disagree with you about Ken's acting. Jason's resurrection powers point is to become more and more zombie each time he dies and resurrects back again, so this is the final movie of the original friday the 13th franchise it was natural to make jason a full on mindless zombie, it is his biology. Also I'm a gigantic jason voorhees FAN!
Ted White's my favourite Jason but Kane Hodder comes in second. His Jason was vicious as hell. The Final Chapter's my favourite Friday the 13th and in White's performance you can tell just how pissed off Jason is after having had the machete Alice used to behead his mother driven into his shoulder by Ginny in Part 2 and being hung then having an axe driven into his skull by Chris in Part III. Jason's at by far his most evil and monstrous in The Final Chapter IMO.
I just watched this about 2 weeks ago & I love how the action even outs the comedy unlike how superhero movies are becoming (more comedy less action). And idc what anyone says this is the best looking Freddy & Jason I've seen compared to their looks in their own series But I did was thinking damn how much blood can Jason lose? I kinda thought Freddy was getting a handicap. (Been like 6 years since I last seen it). Damn u said the same shit I basically said about Jason after my comment 😂
Being a huge Friday fan, I really don't like the slow lumbering Jason that they went with. He seemed too zombie like, and robotic. The movie is fun though.
They just let freddy control him basically jason is VERY independent but they turned him into a bit if a wimb and a robot i prefer kane hodder ove ken kirizinger
I was 20 when this movie came out so I was old enough to have grown up with the Nightmare on Elm series way back in the 80's. I was only a little kid but my mother let me watch all the horror movies. Been a horror addict ever since. Love your channel man!
My biggest issue with this movie is Jason's sudden fear of water...since when? The fact that it WASNT Kane Hodder still pisses me off because that's what we wanted to see. I feel like if you look up the reason, there was some shadiness involved.
I remember loving this when I first saw it in theatres. It has not hrld up well for me. I thought they went a little to far with some of the hammy Freddy. Also, seeing and hearing the compressed air for the blood effects kinda takes me out of it? Definitely better than Nightmare 5, and 6. And definitely better thay Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X.
Maybe Ken Kirzinger wasn't as great a presence as Kane Hodder or Derek Mears or the actor who played Jason in Friday The 13th: Part 6 Jason Lives and other previous Jasons but he delivered in the fight scenes vs Freddy and I thought he made a great Rusty Nails in the last Joy Ride film. But I basically agree with your praise of Freddy Vs Jason, it is a fun movie and Robert England was great as Freddy in what would be his swan song playing the character.
The acting was awful in this movie the worst of all of the movies as far as the acting goes,.Jason sucked in this movie. Would have been a totally different movie with Kane Hodder in my opinion. Jason is boring as fuck in this movie. I loved Freddy in this movie tho. The movie isn't bad but could have easily been a lot better.
I'm not a fan of this one but I do appreciate the focus that was put on the writing when it came to what we learn about Freddy and Jason. The tone of this movie isn't really my thing. It's not quit DW balanced it's more in between DW and DM. Not being a big slasher person the characters weren't likable enough for me. I didn't like that one character spurting out knowledge of Freddy the way it was done. Kelly Roland was insufferable. This wasn't worth watching 10 13th movies for. I might look at it again but I ultimately don't see it as necessary. I did like that scene with the girl (with cut out eyelids right?) who informs Monica's character though.
I would've started both characters doing their thing with no dialogue so new comers are introduced to these characters properly like that one dream sequence with Freddy, then he tells his story. We got what we got though. Who knows if I would've seen Nightmare without all the adds for FvsJ back then though. That Bravo countdown made me Interested in the first movie really.
I'm glad some people like it. This is why I actually like the 2010 Remake. It felt like a return to form even if it's a bit generic thanks to last minute editing from studio interference.
Are there any horror crossover "vs" movies as good as this one? I like the first AvP but are there any other ones? Edit: wtf I never noticed that freddy only had one kill. I guess that's a testament to how good Robert is as freddy to seem as a huge threat even though he only gets a single kill.
Freddy vs Jason was the first horror movie I ever saw ..I was like 7 it scared me to death , and made me obsessed with Jason , and Freddy . I remember drawing a picture of Freddy at a restaurant on a kids menu . scared my parents for sure
Here's an idea for a sequel Freddy realizes he can't kill him alone because of how he was killed in part 1 so... Freddy gets into the head of Michael Myers!
Freddy vs Jason was awesome, loved it. Freddy beef with Jason was he was taking all his kills. I heard they where real close to having pinhead take them both to hell at the end of the fight. So that’s sequel bait & the studios couldn’t agree. Great movie probably better they didn’t go that route.
This was the only movie I ever saw on release night and it was the best theater experience I ever had. This movie isn't perfect but it was exactly what it needed to be. We waited ten years for it and I don't feel like it was a letdown. If you want a horror movie you might be disappointed but if you want two classic movie monsters facing off, it's fantastically fun.
They should create a sequel that begins with Freddy still manipulating Jason on Elm Street. Then, out of the blue, whichever vehicle Michael Myers has stolen can break down a few blocks away 😂
i was thinking tht one reason they mighta wanted to change the jason was cuz they wanted a slower more lumbering jason to really make freddy appear faster and quicker in combat. Kane hodder jason was fast and explosive . so if u had jason from like part 7, 8 or 9 fighting against freddy, freddy would honestly be torn apart.
I'm a huge Freddy fan as you are and this is one of my favorites. I never noticed however that Freddy only kills one person. I don't know why I watch movie reviews on movies I've already seen but any who great review.
Jason isn’t afraid of water in the real world like always, but when he’s asleep or sedated and Freddy is tormenting him he is, which is what Freddy does. Freddy likes to find out what scares them

Wow! brilliant That should've been the official ending
@@lonewolfmcquade1873 they didnt have the budget for that. Probably would've looked too shitty with a low CGI budget lol
Being dead wasn't a problem, but being forgotten, now that a BITCH! - Freddy Krueger
He’s not wrong being forgotten is the worst
This showdown was a slasher masterpiece. I re-watched it so many times, I could recite the lines lol. Too bad we never we would see a Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash, that'd be fucking epic. Good review.
Scene68 Yeah that would have been great to see!
They did do a comic book version of Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash.
It would’ve been a comedy
Nostalgia trip
Hypnocil is the same drug Nancy was trying to talk the therapist in Dream Warriors into letting the kids take. Badass how that carries over here. Great movie. Came out on my birthday (August 13th) in 2003. Went on opening day with my pops. Great memories and great review!
I went to see it on my birthday on August 29 with my dad too. Think I was turning 13. Great memories for sure and I def noticed the hypnoquil callback.
Hypnocil*
I always figured that Jason had the higher body count as a nod to how Jason, in general, was responsible for far more deaths, in Jason X alone.
I would love to see freddy vs Jason vs Michael even if it was bad
Marcus Thomas yep & have Robert England to play Freddy, Kane Hodder to play Jason & Tyler Mane Play Michael
Jason's better than Micheal though.
Kevin Riley Yeah it doesn't take much to improve on that makeup. Lop
Lol. Yup looked like the Original 4 Elm St movies.
Kevin Riley Freddy looks perfect in Freddy vs Jason!
One of my favorite horror movies ever I loved this movie as a kid and I still love it today
same
@@aaroncoats1555 awesome
Bro you killed it with this one!!! Great Job as ALWAYS! I bought the soundtrack back in the day (probably same reason) Monica is absolutely beautiful, The fight are AWESOME, You nailed it!!! Great Work!
Really like the dude from Friday the 13 part 3 Jason, he was definitely older, Even back then, but Kane Should have been Jason... One of My biggest downfall with this movie also.
FREDDY ALL DAY!!! HAHA 👍👍👍
Horrible he literally only killed 1 dude... smfh... it sucks..
Prolly he had never put that much effort before but saw Jason wasn't going down ....
They'll never make a Freddy vs Jason 2, Englund is done and no interest from Warner Bros/New Line. They did adapt the films screenplay into a comic called Freddy vs Jason vs Ash and that also got a sequel.
+Eric Curto Unfortunately you are correct
:(
16 years later still pissed about who wins
Cody, I loved this just as much as you do. I've the DVD version and it's one my top 20 list of my favorite horror movies of all time. I agree with you that Monica Keenan does an excellent job and carries the movie throughout as the protagonist. I thought Brandon Fletcher was much better than Josh Ritter. You're right about the soundtrack, it's banging!
+The Horror Miser Monty G Yeah he definitely overshadows Ritter. When I had this on DVD as a teen this was probably my #1 go-to movie.
Cody Leach same here!!! Haha Awesome!! Great Work bro! Another Classic Review!!! You kill it!!!
Cody Leach AWESOME shirt in this one too!!!
Found your channel 3 days ago and been binge watching ever since. I love Freddie vs Jason because like you pointed out it found that great mix of scary and comedic Freddie.
Awesome!
This was the civil war of horror movies and I mean that in multiple ways.
Going back and listening to this for the holiday, Dear God that audio lmao. Awesome to see how far you've come
The entire movie was Jason stealing Freddy's kills lol
Hahaha yea true, I would like to imagine Jason was thinking "fuck that crispy rib looking mother fucker, this one is mine, fuckin bitch".
I think Jason looked awful in this film. I wish they had the Part 7 Kane Hodder Jason for this movie, that was the major let down for me. Jason looked a wimp.
Yeah Jason should have been better
I thought jason was badass
They turned jason into a wuss. I hate that.
And surpirsingly, Freddy vs Jason look is the look used on websites for character origins, wallpapers, etc!
I like his look far as clothing but character yeah made him look soft
11:07
Look at this.
The opening sequence though features a 2003 CGI Freddy? I'm not sure that's aged so well.
How did I never notice that when she cuts off Freddy's head,it's an homage to Pamela's death in the original Friday The 13th?
Got to keep making Freddy movies or you unleash the demon.
I love how Freddy when he's truly pissed turns into the demon face
I would love to hear your opinion on how they take flight when they got hit. It really bugged me.
+2 Percent lol I don't know...because it had to look stylish
Good review man. I like the shot of the eels on the bathroom floor.
Cool Note: That wasn't in the shooting script, director Yu wanted them in the scene.
My dad took me and my older cousin to see this when it first came out. A guy was wearing a Freddy vs Jason shirt. The theater was packed from top to bottom. I eventually watched both franchises when I got older. I was disappointed when I found Kane Hodder wasn’t Jason a slap in the face to us fans.
Freddy only had 1 kill, Jason killed everyone
I loved the soundtrack too, I always remember staying to the credits just to hear "Army Of Me" and "When Darkness Falls"
being dead wasn't a problem, BUT BEING FORGOTTEN?!?!!?!!
NOW THATS A BITCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That line from Freddy is easily my favorite one liner
It’s so good!
Metal Horror Pack Thanks man. Yeah I've never understood the hate for this. To me I'm not sure how much better you could pull this concept off.
Your welcome! I couldn't agree more!
I watched this in both playlists lol I went on a binge and watched the whole series of these two today
They made a comic as a squeal that is great as a squeal
Watched Freddy Vs Jason tonight and still loved it! Had to come back and watch your review again!
I thought it was just a good film when I watched it years ago. Now you got me wanting to revisit it. Great review bro
+Locarbmonster Thanks man. Definitely a blast to revisit!
Shadowsega V2 Wow...interesting observation
Think kens performance is ronny yu fault on the commentary track they talk about how ronny would tell ken slower slower and other stuff that shows ifn the movie
the fact that Kane Hodder was not cast as Jason ruins this film for me. Hodder is Jason.
I like how Jason just takes over kill after kills until Freddy brings him into his nightmare and they fight it was a fun movie to watch. I saw it twice in the theater
I remember being in the local library searching this movie
Freddy vs Jason was the first Avengers movie
I just rewatched it today, and though it's not a great film it's one of the better films in the series.
I also enjoyed the callbacks to other Nightmare movies. The cornfield slaughter is somewhat like the pool party in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, the subplot around the mental institution harkens back to Dream Warriors and covering up Freddy's crimes like in Nightmare 1.
did you know it was not meant to be Freddy vs Jason it was meant to be Ash vs Freddy vs Jason the only reason why I didn't happen is that Bruce didn't want to do it.
+GreenPsyco 12 Well it was a rights issue as well regarding the ash character. I know it was a comic book.
I would say this Freddy vs Jason is better than AVP and AVP2
In 2008 there was a 6 issue comic of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. It's worth the read :) and it picks up where this film left off so there is even continuity.
my only flaw is they didn't use Kane hodder.as a Jason fan it pissed me off!!how can you use Robert and not Kane? other than that I love it.
Kane Hodder sucks
@@07foxmulder like u

An interesting feature that was included on the DVD was a Fangoria article about the various scripts for this film that had been considered over the years. None of them were very good, and some were horrible. It really reinforces a feeling of gratitude that this is the film we got.
This movie was what got me into the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. I was about 13, and a friend of my dad’s had it on DVD. Freddy’s opening intro with the clips of all the previous films got me curious, so I wound up practically marathoning all 7 movies. I’ve been a Freddy fan ever since.
Great intro to the video and awesome review, as always!
I like how your intro references one of the promotional bits where Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger went to a weigh in in full Freddy and Jason gear and Michael Buffer was the host.
I like your reviews man I watch most of it so far keep it up!!
I just wish they would have kept Kane Hodder
+Jerry Hensley Same
They hired that guy to play Jason because I think they really wanted to slow Jason down so when he and Freddy fight Freddy can have the speed on him.
Jason's not a zombie. He's a revenant. Zombies are mindless flesh eaters. Revenants come back to life with all of their human memories.
Xehanort10 ok thanks.
"Invite only corn poke, & You weren't invit-..." "Some of a bitch" Blowed fat boy high away 🤦🏾♂️
15:55 because thats the plot, jason is stealing his kills, thats why they fight
I just watched this about 2 weeks ago & I love how the action even outs the comedy unlike how superhero movies are becoming (more comedy less action). And idc what anyone says this is the best looking Freddy & Jason I've seen compared to their looks in their own series
But I did was thinking damn how much blood can Jason lose? I kinda thought Freddy was getting a handicap. (Been like 6 years since I last seen it). Damn u said the same shit I basically said about Jason after my comment 😂
I like how Freddy gets a chance to kick Jason’s ass and Jason gets a chance to kick Freddy’s ass
Being a huge Friday fan, I really don't like the slow lumbering Jason that they went with. He seemed too zombie like, and robotic. The movie is fun though.
T-Mac's Reviews Kane hodder needed to be the Jason
T-Mac's Reviews ya they started doing Zombie Jason in Jason Lives
They just let freddy control him basically jason is VERY independent but they turned him into a bit if a wimb and a robot i prefer kane hodder ove ken kirizinger
I always wondered if Jason Voorhees knew he was going up against another killer.
I was 20 when this movie came out so I was old enough to have grown up with the Nightmare on Elm series way back in the 80's. I was only a little kid but my mother let me watch all the horror movies. Been a horror addict ever since. Love your channel man!
The intro to this film is truly awesome
One of my favorite intros to any movie
Great reviews. They should of given Freddy more kill not just 1. But the film was fun to watch.
LUIS Yeah it's a lot of fun. Weird how I never noticed the lack of Freddy kills in this.
There is a sequel to Freddy vs Jason called Freddy vs Jason vs Ash
Fletcher Shepherd i don’t hate on Jason X as much as a lot of people do but I don’t think it’s fair that was Kane’s swan song lol
Honestly, I enjoyed Freddy vs Jason. Monica Keena is my favorite actress in the film.
Katharine Isabelle
The acting was awful in this movie the worst of all of the movies as far as the acting goes,.Jason sucked in this movie. Would have been a totally different movie with Kane Hodder in my opinion. Jason is boring as fuck in this movie. I loved Freddy in this movie tho. The movie isn't bad but could have easily been a lot better.
I didnt think the acting was anywhere near that bad. To each their own though.
Brian Outlaw the acting is no different than the other friday or nightmare movies in my opinion
Thats fair. This was always a complete blast to me.
I went to see this movie at the theater wasn't expecting very much and wound up liking it better than expected!
Tom Cabler Yeah this movie delivered everything I wanted in spades.
How did Jason get out of Hell?
Good question 😂
NEW Movie - Michael vs. Leatherface - the Year of 2024.
What do you think about this?
Freddy vs Jason was the first horror movie I ever saw ..I was like 7 it scared me to death , and made me obsessed with Jason , and Freddy . I remember drawing a picture of Freddy at a restaurant on a kids menu . scared my parents for sure
Awesome
Here's an idea for a sequel
Freddy realizes he can't kill him alone because of how he was killed in part 1 so...
Damn I’ve seen this movie probably hundreds of times and never realized that Freddy only killed ONE person until you said it 😂😂
I love this movie so much. I personally didnt mind jason Ritter that much. Luv your videos man.
+Jessica Rivera Thank you. Watching reviews is an indirect way to discuss a movie so it's fun to check out others thoughts
Jessica Rivera Jason Voorhees fan
I think freddy also killed all the kids in the coma in westin hills when he took over the stoners body
Jason isn’t afraid of water in the real world like always, but when he’s asleep or sedated and Freddy is tormenting him he is, which is what Freddy does. Freddy likes to find out what scares them
I remember breaking curfew watching a bootleg of this on a school night in 2003 with friends. Fun times
Indeed
The hype for the movie has some great memories from that time. Cant forget the Freddy vs Jason weigh-in haha
