Nice work!
Thanks again Hans!
What advice would you give a fella who is just starting out? Which mistakes to avoid?
Take your time and understand the first knives you make are for practice. Feel free to message me on Instagram for any specific questions you have.
Why did you not make a sharpening choil..? Is extremely important!
That is completely an opinion not a fact. Sharpening choils get caught on things while you are cutting. They are nice for sharpening but not as great for actual use. Some people like them and some don't. Sometimes I add them and sometimes I don't. But generally speaking for actual use I think they get caught on things and make curtain tasks harder.
@@Wengelsworkshop i respect your point of view… i sharpen my knives on Japanese stones … and man… I really appreciate a sharpening choil.. and Yes I can definitely get around it while I’m cutting ;)
Fantastic knife. Great video.
Thank you Robert!
Killer knife!
Thanks Key!
@@Wengelsworkshop your grinder is sweet. I looked up the RUclips page of the guy who sells them. With the parts package, along with any items you had to out source, what do you think it ended up roughly costing you to complete it?
I actually bought mine from someone that built it locally bc I don't have a welder. I paid 1350 so I'm assuming you could probably get everything for less than 1000-1100. I believe the house work channel has all the the listed parts needed and where to order them.
Awesome as always. I've always liked the narrating of the builds.
thanks man! I try to make it a chill video for people to relax and watch. Im sure my voice puts some people to sleep though lol
We allowed to call dibs?!
I will consider...send location.. lol
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙌🙏 I'm already subscribed
Thanks agian Steven!
Do you sell your knives
Thanks for the interest. I don't have a lot available, (bc I only make them part time)but when they are I will post on my Instagram.

Thank you Ashley!
Bravo uno che mola la bisellatura a mano senza jig
Nice looking knife
Thank you Michael!
Nicely done, I never liked stone washed finishes that much but this one makes me wanna try it!
Thanks Njord! I'm hesitant to do satin finish finish since I use carbon steel. I'm looking forward to using stainless in the future.
@@Wengelsworkshop Ah okay, I‘ve really come to like the aged look of a heavy-use patina :)
That's Definitely Awesome Outstanding Knife.
Thank you Robert!
Fantastico
What is the name of this wood on the handle?
I believe its African Blackwood.

Really nice work. Quality content. I look forward to what your going to be making next. I want to get a router to work on my handles. Looks like it makes it so much easier.
Thanks Phillip! If you do be careful and make sure you know how to feed material to prevent kickback.
@@Wengelsworkshop oh ok. Looks like I'll be going back to you tube university to learn that skill also. 😁

Really nice design!
Thanks Larry!
Perfect hunting knife!
Thanks Adam!
Could you make a fixed blade for more of a duty use? I do what you could call international business relations for a multi faceted company and find myself in austere countries.
