Great video as always and thank you for posting
WOW! That went sideways fast. Some big fires in NJ lately. Thankful for the Firewall. At least only half the building was lost instead of all of it. Still tragic for everyone who lost everything though.
Thank you for sharing!!!!! Amazing video footage bro!!!!!!!
A fire this bad in New Jersey that started in the basement and spread so fast? Very suspicious.
Great coverage. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Dean
It didn’t seem like the firefighters inside were making much of a difference until the horns from the fire trucks told them to get out. Then it really blew up.
I understand that they can not do so much, but they let the fire grow too big! Great footage! Thanks for posting! Be safe!
Thanks bro! From what I understand, They had heavy fire in the basement on arrival, and it traveled up the walls to the other floors and through the roof! Plus Numerous rescues of civilians on arrival off fire escapes and through windows!
Fantastic video great coverage
Than you Paul
This was some fire they had over there I took it in from Englewood Cliffs after hearing reports that it was in the voids it went South quick excellent clip as always Ron
Thank you Peter
Looking at the intensity of this fire,I would no way in hell sent firefighters inside
What is the construction of the building that the fire can spread so easily ?
Usually a total loss when you have a basement fire
This is the fire which happened on Valentine's Day 2019. That wasn't clear in the description. :-)
Great video... If you want to catch where Ron leaves off, Majestirium1 posted the later half of the fire. 😎
Thanks Mike!
A fire of this magnitude master streams from tower ladders all the way, hand lines will not help at all. Deck guns might have some affect but tower ladders with the master streams is the much better options at this point.
A trend I'm noticing in all of these NJ videos is insufficient water pressure. So many sagging streams. Not sure if it's on pump operators or city supply. But there is never enough pressure in the handlines, towers, and ladder pipes. Whether it's equipment/operator issues or overwhelmed city water systems this is something that really should be addressed when dealing with fire in buildings this large. A lot of cities keep building and building, bigger and bigger without upgrading their water systems and that systems supply. I worked for a couple municipalities in NJ before leaving the state. I know where municipal priorities are and it's usually finding ways to bring in more revenue thru increasing population in the city. What they usually dont put first and foremost is what burden that increase in population does to services...be it schools, police, fire, ems, utilities, etc. It's just about making money.
Ceilings guys, ceilings. Thru the bottom corner of the window up at the ceiling.
Great job ron nice work man
Thanks again Chris
Thank you for sharing this incredible video; grateful that there were no fatalities.Again, thank you, stay safe😉👍
Great job videotaping
Thanks Tony, :)
Buildings and belongings can and will be replaced. Human life however can not. Fire fighters are the bravest people I know, they run towards burning buildings when others are running away. To me any fire department is my hero. Coming from a house fire victim saved by my local fire department.
Wow! A real worker. Nice job especially with radio traffic too. Cause known?
Thank you so much!
That is some more of a rip snortin fire. Looks like a blast furnace a 22:15
I would like to see more of the footage of the fire. Lots of people working to save that place but the trees and everything around it we’re on their way
Very scary fire..!
This is crazy
These Buildings when they are built have Concrete floors. These do not have them an gives the a fire a better way to spread.
I grew up in apartment 1C 1974 - 1990 😿
I'm sort of bothered by how fast that took off.
Were there many people displaced? I hope not xxx
Yes numerous tenants displaced unfortunately
I pray that noone died in this fire.
No water until 6:32--what gives? It's Joisy--let it burn. Amerika's nightmare, 3rd-world cities are scary blights beyond saving.
L CHAPUT what gives?! Are you not listening to the radio chatter? They have zero visibility and they’re trying to determine the extent.
shut up asshole
Does multiple rescues ring a bell
