Not only is he a remarkable artist, he’s also actually incredible in explaining what he’s doing. You can genuinely learn from his videos. Most MUAs have such a limited explanation for what they’re doing where John goes incredibly in depth. What’s even better is that John is funny, sounds like what I’d assume angels would sound like, very eloquent (with a vocabulary better than a collegiate English professor) and all around enchanting. Part of me is questioning whether or not I believe in immortality because I really think John is immortal.
I always save your videos until night time and listen to them as I’m winding down and going to sleep because your voice is soothing and calming- that combined with your genius artistry makes for a lovely end to my day. If anyone can use these “difficult” tones, it’s you.
If he does not by the time you need it, Patrick Starrr has some excellent bridal makeup tutorials! However, I would highly recommend hiring a professional for that special day -- you'll probably spend less for their time + kit fee (if any) than you would buying the necessary products to get the look you want. (Unless you wanted to practice and buy them anyway)

Holographic means anything with a illuminescent pattern that diffuses light in RAINBOW patterns. That’s not holographic, it’s iridescent, and yes it’s FAKE HOLO Hahah I hope no one gets offended 😅 that’s what Cristine the HOLO queen taught us :P
I think the silver rather suits your eyes. Yes, it's stark against your skin tone, but the pay off makes your eyes look fantastic. Nice job - the subtle silver stripe looks very graphic and artistic - love it.

I really thought I was alone with this. I was in the middle of a full on hyperventilation, panic attack when I somehow came across his video while searching for another video to *try* to calm my nerves and the sound of his voice calmed my brain almost immediately. He truly is amazing.

The same as with anxiety, you need to feel fear and pain in other to get cured of whatever (unless you are about to expire and have some incurable disease causing pointless pain).
This is a smashing look, John! Your new cooler contour is perfect for your coloring. I wear silver somewhere on my eyes almost daily, as it coordinates beautifully with my silver hair. One of my favorite methods is to apply a touch of Chanel's Illusion d'Ombre in the shade Mysterio- just next to my top and bottom lashes, right in the center. It truly makes my eyes so sparkly and inviting.
John, this is honestly one of the most beautiful looks I have seen you create on this channel, surpassing even some of my previous favorites. It is so stunning, yet also refined, with a certain sultry air to it. Every time you added something after the lashes, I was stunned at how such a look could become even more beautiful. This is my favourite look I've seen thus far of John's. I love everything about it, all of the colours and of course the application of them are just stunning. While watching, I was lamenting the fact that 20 to 25 years ago when I was young, goth and wrinkle free that none of these colours or makeup techniques were around. We had to copy from other goth girls who probably copied from other goth girls who copied a goth girl that had been to London and returned to Australia with new ideas. Unless we spent a fortune on French cosmetics which didn't really have the colours anyway, then we had to use horrible cheap eyeshadow palettes that had no pigment and you'd use all of the black in one application. Rimmel at the time did a wonderful oil based liquid eye liner with the most amazing applicator, but then they didn't have shimmery metallics in blues, purples, blacks or grays. Things really didn't start to change until the late 90s when Urban Decay was finally released and we all died at the stunning colour range and Kevyn Aucoin became our inspiration. Still didn't have highlighters that could outshine the Gods though... So thank you John, for showing me what might've been...I'm just ever so slightly sad!
