46 hours and 15 minutes into All Points North and Amy is a solid second in the women's field behind Ede Harrison. Harrison is proving to be the stronger rider. Amy has two controls to go before the finish. Harrison has one. Amy is having quite a ride. I suspect both ladies are going to get to the finish before the 72 hour cutoff. Cheers!
Our Evergreen Baby Amy Malones and her half Kyle Earl of Sandwich...The Earl has done a tremendous job during all this trip...staying sober everyday certainly has required a tremendous amount of energy...u are both our herous !!!
I am putting your videos in my WATCH LATTER playlist so I can get to them as I get time. Excited to see your latest adventure, thankyou!. I will save this for tonight when I have dinner 🙂
You don’t need a TT bike for time trials. All you need is a road bike, especially as there are plenty of road bike’ only TT’s. Helps to have good legs and plenty of carbs on board.
I hope you get to do the Grand Tours Project women's only event in _Saudi Arabia_ -- sounds like a fascinating & somewhat controversial trip. (Otherwise, Switzerland will do.)
Can you send that weather over to Scotland? no bike rides since last Tuesday because of the awful weather! Another awesome episode, what a beautiful place👌
@@amy.cycling.adventures We had a nice day yesterday so I made the most of it with another 112 miles and 8200ft of climbing, I had to make it a long one as the weather is back to normal now😂 Thank you Amy😊
Ede Harrison is nearing the finish at All Points North. She will get first. Amy seems to be struggling, but she has passed all the controls and is heading toward the finish. She might drop to third overall since Jaimi Wilson has passed all the controls and is nearing the finish, too. The two ladies took different paths during the competition. But Jaimi it seems skipped one of the mandatory rest stops which would get her a 3 hour penalty. Is Amy more than 3 hours behind Jaimi? That's the question.
UPDATE. Upon further review of the path Jaimi Wilson took it seems clear that she did do both required rest stops. One at Doddington and the other at Dale's Bike Centre. Thus it looks like Amy is destined to get third. Wilson won the ladies division at Trans Continental. What a ride for Amy. Congrats!
Do you use GO-Pro? Did you know Go Pro has voice commands! I just found this out and want to use mine on the bike to make a few bike videos. you just say, "Go Pro, take photo,... Go Pro Start Recording, Go Pro Stop Recording..".... anyway just a tip if your using one, thought you might have been. Keep having a ball!
Love watching your adventures..... but wish you would change to kilometres and metres, like the rest of the world. Most people who watch your channel don't understand miles 😢
It must be said, the Grand Tours Project looks top-notch.
Kyle was brilliant in this the shaving of the legs and saying about the pros taking people's KOM 🤣🤣🤣🤣 love the excitement xx
😂😂😂😂

She’s doing great, point to mention though, ede Harrison was once the First woman on trans continental race so some company!
Wow that is incredible, go Amy.
Grand Tours has put on the excursion of a lifetime! I'm amazed by the VIP passes to Giro and you even had a private chef for the lunch break😮
It was like a dream 😍
I absolutely love everything cycling and would be in heaven on one of the GTP tours, but when I saw the cute little roadside picnic tables I was sold.

Miles is the only true way to ride a century
riding the same tt with a road bike is not riding the SAME TT !
Kyle shaving his legs ... too much detail .
“That’s 15 watts right there” 😂😂
