Incredible performance and incredible footage! You both can be very proud to achieve such a thing! I saw that you’re wearing blood glucose monitors. Can I ask what the purpose and benefit that gives in such long distance races? Do you feel like having that knowledge makes it easier to get the right stuff for the body and recover faster? Anyway. Wish you both the best 🫶✨🪄
Thank you so much Anna 😊 I use the Supersapiens glucose monitor during races to improve my fuelling and try to maintain stable glucose levels which I found really helpful, specially to avoid underfuelling. Definitely, the data is super useful to know when to eat certain foods, as it changes a lot from one person to another and how to fuel to improve recovery. I have a podcast episode coming up Wednesday next week talking about the glucose monitor and how I use it, as I got many questions about it thought will be nice to share some insights :)
Oh. good god, thanks for sharing the real stuff. It felt as though I suffered, cried and laughed with you. As a pair, you guys were bloody awesome. Setting the race boundaries a great idea. Sherry to have achieved all this in 3 short years (stand to be corrected) is amazing. Whishing you and Gereom many rides together. Thanks for being awesome you two.
While I admire anyone who can accomplish such a grueling ride and still smile at the end, it looked really painful. Congrats on the 1st place in the pair category. Huge respect.
Really great video guys, I can't imagine how hard it is to remember to take content when racing. I'm also in awe of the fact that since TCR you have both also done PBP and a solo race. Inspirational.
What a monumental effort for you guys to prepare, ride and film this race and then to edit all the footage into this film. Thanks for taking the time to do it, so that we can live vicariously through your adventures 😃 Chapeau on the result 💪
Congratulations to you both indeed and the winner and all those that crossed the start line. That must be up there with the hardest races you have done. Your both going to have some great memories when you are old.
Thank you for showing what it was like in all the rawness and reminding me of never to attempt this kind of ride, I love cycling but not that much! On instagram it looks so much easier! Congrats on the ride and the result.
Thank you both for taking us all along with you 😊 Your cinematography is second to none, even keeping the camera rolling at the absolute limits of your experiences out there. You guys are incredible - FIRST PAIR - absolutely phenomenal !! 🙌🎉 🥳👊💥🫶
I really don't know how these cyclists get the endurance and strength to complete a trip like this one. Congrats to Buzzalong and her partner for filming the journey. thanks for posting
Sherry and Gereon, once again thank you!!!! For sharing this race with us. Congratulations on winning the race in the pair/couple category. Only you guys know what you went through, hard, tough, rainy, sunny, etc. times. You are an inspiration. I can't say it enough Thank You, Thank You!!!!! Greetings, Hugs and the best wishes from Mexico.
Hello buzzalong girl, tell you that you are a warrior, who puts all your effort and courage in all the challenges you set for yourself, and that in the face of adversity you grow and are reborn like the Phoenix bird when you feel faint in the face of the difficulties of races as difficult as this one, In every pedal stroke you can see the love you have for this sport, keep up the good work buzzalong girl, and it is a luxury that you share your effort with us, keep up the good work buzzalong girl, looking forward to seeing the next video with great enthusiasm, thank you!!!
Thanks for taking us along the ride through the good and the bad times. Really enjoyed your video. Also thanks for the interview with Christoph at the end ... that gave quite some insights.
I loved to watch the video Sherry. A rollercoaster of emotions and a huge effort of the two of you and something you will never forget. I am already looking forward to ride the TCR 2024
I enjoy and appreciate your authenticity. I cannot recall any other bike-packing vloggers on youtube sharing their exhaustion to camera. I'm just a beginner long distance bike-packer having only cycled the LEJOG at a non-race pace, over a couple of months, but your exhaustion levels appear similar to or exceed my own exhaustion levels when I was in training and doing far easier routes. It is a delight to witness you doing what you do without any attempt to keep up appearances but sharing it as it is; both the highs and the very lows of ... real life! I have watched hundreds bike-packing vlogs over a number of years I believe your channels movies are a worthy and excellent addition to the genre. You appear to me to be a great team and to me it works very well that your cycling partner focuses on the camera work allowing you to be 'captured' in the moment.
Thanks for taking the time and putting this together. I’m amazed by how, besides the understandable hard times, Sherry keeps always smiling and laughing. I guess you need to be a very positive person to cope with such a challenge as the TCR. Congratulations to both of you again!
This is such a great video Sherry and Gereon. Thanks so much for sharing the "warts and all" of your experience doing the TCR. It really shows the depths that you had to go to complete such a demanding race. I admire your strength of character! And also, how, within all the hardship you endured, you still managed to such great filming. Well done to you both for the insights you provide with your content :).
Great documentary of your efforts and the difficulty of the race. The challenge of the ride was really well depicted. How you manage to ride these events, film everything and then edit it into a complete story is beyond me. This is a really fantastic video, the hour flew by! Congratulations on your success in the event!
Thank you so much :) It is fun to film the experience during the race breaks up a bit the race routine and forces you to stop to film and enjoy the amazing landscapes. Also fun to watch after the race, so many things I already forgot about.
You are both amazing people I cried and laughed with you along the way 😅 What a great adventure of human endurance, caring and love Thanks Sherry for sharing God speed 🙏
A fantastic video and an even more amazing effort! Congratulations to you and your partner and thank you so much for your efforts in documenting and sharing the video!!!
One hour of good content. You rode in less than 11 days the distance I ride in a year. Mindblowing! I liked the interview a lot. Especially where you were talking about going in pair means double the trouble but you have a healthy strategy to deal with the fact and get the best out of it.
Escellent video and a massive well done for taking this on! Looks epic! Thanks for sharing and for being true to the journey and showing all of the ups and downs!
Thank you soooo much for sharing your journey. Amazing! And the interview with Chris at the end! Just makes me want to jump on my bike and do a few miles in my pyjamas!
Huge effort so impressive and congratulations on first pair and a great video to go along with it. I know it's tough but I am so glad you put the low points in there, I don't think it would feel as authentic if it was only the high points because we know that's not how these things are. I've been getting back into cycling the last few months after touring seemed to drop out of my life about 10 years, and while it will take me a while to get to the required level this has definitely inspired me to put finishing this race as a goal in a few years time.
Tus experiencias son de otro planeta....te sigo desde El Salvador y me encantan tus videos. La sinceridad en los mismos y tu alegría los hacen diferentes y sumamente entretenidos.
Outstanding, the courage, energy, mindset and passion is astounding. I was in the Army for 10 years, but I think you could out perform me lol…your encouragement as made me want to do more, on my bike.
Well done Sherry & Gereon. Totally captured the spirit of the TCR. You have a great face which shows every range of emotion on camera! Love the fact that you always seem to have food around your mouth 😂😂 super riding 💪🏼💪🏼
Congratulations to the both of you for the amazing achievement. Thanks for sharing this real experience with its highs and lows. It's a real inspiration and setting an example for seemingly impossible challenges! The video was amazing.
Thanks to this great video, Sherry and Gideon. Only regret it is too short. Many emotions for you but also for the regions you crossed, i appreciate a lot . But, it doesn‘t matter. Wonderful entertainment of high-professional sport done by enthusiastic amateurs. Your videos have highest quality and the Interview with Christoph is a highlight. Thanks 🙏
Well done to you both for such an achievement. It’s great how you capture every emotion in your adventure. So many ups and downs, but you always manage to finish. Thanks again for a another great video and looking forward to your next adventure. All the best from Scotland 🏴👍🏻🚴🏻♀️🚵🏻♂️

Very raw at times... a huge thanks to Gereon for doing all the filming. Great content as always.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words 🙌
To ride that distance... HARD ... very
To race that distance... INSANE... probably
To do both AND film it... WHO does that??? ... you guys!!!
🙌👊💛
Thank you so much 🙌 was a real challenge but totally worthy

Just fabulous, you two are absolutely brilliant, thank you Sherry, such an inspiration 🎉
Thank you so much 🙌
Woaaa, I think that's the best documentary about ultra cycling race I saw this year. Loved to ride with guys. Always love your content.
Thank you so much! 🙌
