Bloomin' heck, Amy, you are killing this RUclips thing! You and Kyle are knocking out those milones like they're nothing. It's also good to see that you guys are single-handedly keeping the British economy afloat with your hot chocolate and assorted snacks. Yipeee!! Keep up the great work!!!
I had this exact issue with a pump pulling valve cores out. since then I always tighten the cores up with a pair of pliers when I buy new innertubes before I take them on a ride.
Great video and superhuman effort! To say I'm impressed with that ride is an understatement. The old cod loins must have been well and truly knick-knacked by the end. Well done to you and Kyle!
Fantastic Amy, you & Kyle are brilliant, and can I just say it's nice to watch someone such as yourself enjoying cycling with so much enthusiasm rather than those who RUclips for promotional gains. I'm definitely a subscribers now and look forward to seeing you both on Ride Across America some time soon 🚴♂️👍
Just where do you source your energy from?! The National Grid are very keen to find out! Another amazing achievement - your enthusiasm is infectious! Wahooooo yipeeeeeee
Absolutely amazing achievement Amy and great support from Kyle so well done to you both. 👏 👏 It should be a great confidence booster for the 'big one' just around the corner.
When you came out the shop with the sandwiche! 😂😂That cracked me up. You’re hilarious!. I can’t believe you both did that ride that was amazing!. Love all your videos
400 km done. PBP on track. The good thing about these longer rides is that it does give you the chance to test and tweak your kit. At least now you know which shorts not to wear, and a new pump may be required.
I had a flat tire today. Used a CO2 Cartridge for the first time. I think I like the pump better. Also, I've had the valve core spin out like that. I left the presta/schrader adapter on until I got back. Or used a multi tool with pliers to tighten it.
After two consecutive days of crappy news I’m a few minutes into this video and I’m smiling again! 🙂👍 You really do cheer people up with your lively and chirpy character. Enough about me! well done on the ride 🚴♂️👍😬 Edit; you don’t look big enough to have eaten that big plate of beans on toast 🍝and fruit cake!🍰 😂
Another Amazing Amy Adventure! (and Karl). What an epic ride, bet you slept great on that little blowup mattress after all that work. Thanks for filming it!
Another brilliant video watched you and Kyle smashed it think I might of given up after 20 minutes of not been able to repair the puncture especially been that tired 🥱 but you both soldiered on and got to the end 👏👏
Next one will be 600km through the night Amy. Watching the BuzzAlong channel you young ladies are showing what you’re capable of. Kudos to Kyle for being right there with you and getting super fit himself.
I recommend the Topeak Pocket Rocket Mini pump which doesn’t have that screw-on hose which unscrews the valve. Inflates up to 160 psi and can sit behind a bottle cage.
Cheese and onion sandwich’s…. I’ve never even thought of having such a delectable treat! Another epic video, thanks for sharing and inspiring me to get out there and train harder
We’ll done Amy & kyle, kyles doing really well too, well done to you both, good luck on your next ride, love watching your channel, wish I could do the miles you do, knees hurt after a while 😂 old age lol, hopefully doing a long ride this weekend just to get a latte and cake at a place called birkin tea rooms knottingley 😋😋 that’s my motivation and your channel too of course 😊😊
Wow! Chapeau Amy & Kyle. I can't imagine doing that sort of distance in one hit, the most I've done is 112miles on the Fred Whitton & that was hard work to put it mildly.
Great video and entertaining to watch... but bloomin hell, what a remarkable accomplishment by you & Kyle, well done to you both. Do you ever take weekend off? You should, you deserve it. :-)
that service station gives me flashbacks to doing the great orme night ride (a bunch of us in summer set off from the middle of manchester to the great orme at midnight).
And so far, I've done one 12 miles ride this entire week lol. Your long distance rides are amazing. You're like the energizer bunny always of full of "let's go" energy. Thanks for sharing. Why don't your arms, neck, butt, legs, back and hands hurt?
Haha I do love the long rides and actually not too bad :D the day after achy of course but that’s to be expected 😂 haha I think the bike gives me energy!
I had a similar problem with my valves. Topeak mini pumps have a little black release button on the flexible valve hose that releases some of the pressure and helps a bit. Just have to make sure you have a valve tightening key....or a topeak chainbreaker tool bit on their multitool has a noggin (techinical term) on it that works well as a valve tool. Just google it.
Surprisingly it was an Aldi special by last year, you never know what you’re going to find in that middle aisle! But I think Oxford Cycles do them & Amazon ☺️
Reminds me of when I was cycling back from Sweden to the UK via Belgium. I got a puncture after a 400km over the previous 30 hours and 2000km over the past 10 days.
@@amy.cycling.adventures It was my first sizable outing, up to the north pole in Norway then over to Sweden. My steed was of the 26" variety in those days and for some reason I hadn't discovered clipless pedals. I was also riding along with my guitar, fishing equipment and a raindeer antler. Yet, for all the inefficiencies of my method of cycling I decided to 'save weight' and had munched through the last of my food as I was passing Antwerp on the way to Brugge. My 'to be' host awaiting my arrival had a feast prepared so I was niavely unconcerned and believed my tire of choice (conti travel contacts) were impenetrable to all but the sharpest of dragon teeth. So it was to my surprise when the wall of the tire gave out, in the dead of night in the excited rain so typical of Belgium. I just remember feeling so surprisngly calm, I suspect it was out of a sense of survival. One positive as I knew the roads and region quite well so I could imagine in my head every length of every road that awaited me, I eventually arrived in a somewhat narcoleptic state and started to fall aslep whilst mid meal, but what a meal it was :D
I did a few 240 miles in 24 hr CTC ones. They used to start in the evening so you felt reasonably fresh for the night ride bit .. Its more than the miles its the staying awake bit that is hard on those epics.. All good experience.. Onwards and upwards . Nice video .
Kyle very often has a sandwich that has an egg in it. Rightly so. As a single item, eggs are the healthiest food in existence... containing, by far, the widest range of vitamins and nutrients.
Congratulations Amy! I always think it's wonderful that young people put on such a beautiful performance. Older people (i.e. people of age) tend to label the youth as lazy and disinterested. So you prove the opposite. My longest ride so far is 175 km. I am 68 and bought my first gravel bike 3 months ago. I had never ridden a racing bike or gravel bike before.
Haha thank you!!
Amy - you're bloody hard core. Good on you girl - always with a smile and a positive attitude to life. Love the channel. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for the positivity ☺️
Well done Amy and Kyle. Nice to see that cameraderie at the end with others helping out to fix the puncture - the true spirit of audax.
Yes it was lovely ☺️
Awesome ride Amy!! You are a machine. 💪👏😊👍

As usual what an inspiration! Fantastic video. Great ride. Well done lass.

Amazing, well done to You & Kyle particularly when he wasn’t feeling 100%, loved the video.
Wow, awesome ride you two!!! Sure enjoy your videos! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great video and superhuman effort! To say I'm impressed with that ride is an understatement. The old cod loins must have been well and truly knick-knacked by the end. Well done to you and Kyle!
Thank you!! Yes they were a little 😂
Fantastic Amy, you & Kyle are brilliant, and can I just say it's nice to watch someone such as yourself enjoying cycling with so much enthusiasm rather than those who RUclips for promotional gains.

You're videos always make me smile but laughed out loud when Kyle said, "Amy, that's NOT motivating!" 🤣 Loving life, can't beat that 😎👍
Haha he wasn’t happy with that stat 😂😂 thanks for watching!
Absolutely amazing achievement Amy and great support from Kyle so well done to you both. 👏 👏
It should be a great confidence booster for the 'big one' just around the corner.

You and Kyle are so inspiring, great effort!

@@amy.cycling.adventures thanks Amy.

Mudguards... oh you got the cool looking and most protective ones. Well done.
Incredible, well done to you both!
Another Amazing Amy Adventure! (and Karl). What an epic ride, bet you slept great on that little blowup mattress after all that work. Thanks for filming it!
Yes I did! I could have slept anywhere I think 😂
Absolutely sterling riding you two!😎💪 You certainly know how to crunch those miles😁
Absolutely smashing it. Before you know it you’ll be cycling around the world! (Kyle will be driving the support van)
Ohh now that sounds like a plan!
Another brilliant video watched you and Kyle smashed it think I might of given up after 20 minutes of not been able to repair the puncture especially been that tired 🥱 but you both soldiered on and got to the end 👏👏
Thank you! It wasn’t ideal bur grateful for the people that helped!
Smashed it guys!
Blimey! Good effort. Fair play Kyle. Have you thought about tubeless tyres? I've never looked back since using them. 👍
Yes we have and think we will make the switch soon!

Awesome!! Well done!!

Thanks for the sandwich, it was lovely 🥪😀
WOWSERS! EPIC RIDING! Oh no...Puncture 8 miles from home...🫣 Great going!!
Thank you!! I know it wasn’t ideal! Haha
I recommend the Topeak Pocket Rocket Mini pump which doesn’t have that screw-on hose which unscrews the valve. Inflates up to 160 psi and can sit behind a bottle cage.
We actually got one after this! Thank you!
Cheese and onion sandwich’s…. I’ve never even thought of having such a delectable treat!

Haha it’s one of Kyle’s favourites particularly cheese and red onion! Thanks for watching :D

that service station gives me flashbacks to doing the great orme night ride (a bunch of us in summer set off from the middle of manchester to the great orme at midnight).

Bit of grease from your chain onto the valve before you screw pump on, might help?

Thank YOU for watching along ☺️
That’s some ride 👏🏼 well done and especially to Kyle who wasn’t running at 100%
Awesome riding. Always fun to have a puncher that last for almost a hour lol 😂

Alright fine I'll go ride my bike. 🙂 That looked like a fantastic ride.
Yay! Enjoy your ride!
I had a puncture the other day and the valve kept coming out with the pump...I didn't even realise they could screw off, was swearing like a sailor 😅
That is a mental amount of miles.
