I'm a 60 something cyclist.... I was crying with you 5 minutes from the end. You are a legend Amy Hudson... because of you my mileage has doubled in the last year, hills I would look at I just paaaah at when I reach the top... from a fellow cyclist thank you for sharing your adventures.. Kyle, Your Dad and your Mums hearts must be beating out of their chests.. A huge well done.... !!!! oh and well done for Wayne coming out to see you... next time share your route with us...
Amy, I never comment on social media. Yet, here I am, wishing to say that you are truly inspirational. As a fellow woman cyclist who very often doubts herself, I find it so helpful to see how you cope with the lows on your rides. I've started incorporating some of your coping mechanisms into my rides as well and turns out, my mileage is quickly increasing! Thank you for these videos and congratulations on the epic ride!
Thank you so much! This is so great to hear, hope you enjoy all your rides, keep going & maybe see you on an Audax some time ☺️🫶 don’t let the doubt stop you x
Well done Amy, you’re an inspiration. I’m 75 and only been cycling for 6 years. The next time I’m feeling low and still got 30 miles to go I’ll think of you and just get on with it. Thank you!
Us old timers have been drinking from streams for a very long time and we’ve survived but, for reassurance, modern water filters are light and compact. Worth considering. Dehydration takes a long time to recover from. An astonishing achievement, so many miles and hills, and you still managed to film it and tell the story. “Don’t use the same finger,” made me laugh.
You are the sweetest girl and strongest woman all rolled Into one, I don’t think there’s another cycling channel at this current time that’s turning out such quality content. Loving you and every thing you do.
You are an incredible person and cyclist. I'm in total awe of your latest achievement riding 680 miles with over 51000 feet of climbing in under 71 hours. Truly exceptional performance. You motivate all your fellow cyclists to keep on trying to improve, never give up and ultimately fulfill your dreams. Finally you and Kyle are a lovely couple and I was impressed with both of you with your epic Mortirolo climb. Major kudos.
Blooming Nora, what an achievement! The cycling alone is enough to have a grown man weep, and then add sleeping in bus shelters and graveyards with no proper food in the tummy, endless climbs, rain, and a broken bottom. Gee Whizz. You could not pay me to attempt doing the same.
Amy you are absolutely legend. I've completed some mega tough challenges serving in the Army, running carrying a heavy Bergen for miles and miles up and over the Pen-Y-Fan for example and been close to tears at the end of some of them, so I know what that feels like. But I don't know if I could've done what you've just done "straight off the bat" that's incredible, and it really sets you apart. Please don't you ever believe that you're not good enough - you're more than good enough, you are exceptional, take it from one who knows - exceptional. Very well done, a big virtual hug and a kiss from me.
I certainly don't watch RUclips videos this long yet I put this one on on the big TV in the living room, sat down & watched from start to finish with the wife. Absolute top effort. Saying you shouldn't doubt yourself is easy for an outsider but what you've accomplished, not just on this ride, is incredible. You thoroughly deserve all these opportunities that's came your way. Best cycling channel by an absolute mile imo. Sorry, milone ;)
Thanks Amy I've never ever done this before supporting someone for there efforts like this but that 680 miles truly deserves a little support as I normally say KEEP UM ROLLING AMY & KYLE 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
Well done, you did it whoop whoop. Never in doubt, fantastic effort Amy, sit back and bask in the glow knowing despite all your self doubt, you came, saw and conquered, there’s nothing you can’t do!
What an achievement, congratulations. I'm knackered after 80 miles so I dont think I could manage what you have done. You're a true inspiration keep it up.
What an incredible video and achievement!! Your bravery at both videoing and overcoming adversity was awesome. Massive congratulations Amy......you can literally do anything now!
You are truly an inspirational amazing young lady. Very brave doing APN on your own. So strong. Well done. You have given me a kick up the backside to get out on my bike and get some miles in. Did RAB LEJOG a couple of years ago, need to get back to that fitness level again. Its surprising how much an individual can push themselves. There is always more in you! Keep going with the adventures. Think you should do a petrol station review of all the stations you stopped at APN 😄
Well done. Had an endurance bike myself, the Ribble Endurance Ti with Tailfin trunkbang and panniers. Got rid of it though as not a fan anymore of diamond frames due to discomfort from numb hands, sore bum etc. Now into recumbents for comfort and the fact that you dont fight the wind as it rolls off you. The person who bought the Ribble Endurance Ti, intends to do Lands End to john O'Groats
Absolutely brilliant Amy. Not just well done, but awesomely well done. This journey of your biking adventures just keeps getting better, and helping you realize that you have always been worthy, no matter what you go through. The high's, the lows, they are all a part of what makes you the woman you are. Just like my daughter who has been, and still is going through some mental health issues, she is also so worthy, even more so because she's still my little girl at the age of 40. With mental health we tend to focus on the negative no matter how well we have done. But when we have time to look back and see how far we have come, we see it is all worth it. So those negative moments become our strength that keep's taking us forward. What a brilliant time you had doing this ride. And what an amazing time we have watching you achieve so much in life. Time to relax and recover a little before the next journey. 👏
I echo all of the praise and good wishes that others have written on such a remarkable achievement. Whilst this sort of epic adventure (conquering your own Everest) tests your physical and mental limits, you’ve got through it all with flying colours and are even greater person on account of this steadfast accomplishment, as the French would say, Chapeau! Just as importantly is the impact of you sharing this adventure in such an honest and transparent way with us and from what I am reading all of the good that it does to others. Keep it up.
Congratulations Amy! You can take great pride in your achievement. You have proven that you are a much stronger and resilient person than you ever thought possible. Your achievement will inspire others to dare to achieve things they never thought themselves possible of.
Well done that was amazing and thanks for leaving the lows in the video that was a very honest and less confident cyclists wouldn’t have left those moments in the video ❤
Wow Amy, I was one of your first 100 followers on YT and.you constantly amaze me with how far you have come in such a short space of time. What an incredible achievement, takes such courage and determination I can't even imagine how hard this must have been physically and mentally. Thanks for sharing such an honest and unflinching account of your journey with us!
Amy you are the best example of someone who doesn’t let the tough times dictate the happy times, I’ve watched this 3 times now and I’m still blown away , I’m new to cycling but if I can have half the passion you have then il be doing ok, keep smiling because you smiling makes people who don’t feel like smiling feel better, your an inspiration to people suffering with mental health, stay strong and hopefully il get to meet you on the road one day 😊
Congratulations, you continue to be an inspiration to all you're viewers. I actually did my first 200K ride yesterday and I'm feeling proud but tired today 😊
Sure I don’t stand alone to say we are all proud of you Amy, well done indeed. You know you have a great channel when you get a 62 year old builder cyclist craving new adventures….shouting out hello Sheepies….dancing at the top of hills….as for Chai Latte……good grief no 😂 Keep safe and keep loving life both of you. Clay
As I watched you overcome so many challenges I realized that is what cycling is all about. We all go through challenges every day, It's how we deal with them and stay positive through the challenging times. Good for you to be brave enough to step out of your comfort zone. You are AMAZING. Wahoo
Wow. Incredible strength and positivity Amy. You are a bundle of energy and that was an amazing ride. An emotional roller coaster and I’m very happy for you.
Thank goodness there are fighters like you in this world. You give me inspiration. No ghoulies in the graveyard because they were more scared of your awesomeness.
If I knew you were riding through my home county of North Yorkshire, I would have come and cheered you on. Bit sad that women feel anxious about riding in the dark. Maybe one day that will change for the better. Well done Amy.
Who needs the BBC when we have the "Amy Cycling Adventure Channel"! Fantastic video. Well done. Just came across your channel and enjoying every one of your videos. Keep up the good work. Its amazing and you're amazing
Congratulations Amy, we were crying with you ,and are so pleased that you achieved your goal, keep being you and inspiring all who follow your adventures 😊
Brilliant video, brilliant ride. Well done Amy. What a star. There's a reason I think you're the best RUclipsr cyclist out there. Just your pure honesty and openness is so welcoming. Thank you! Keep making these brilliant videos :0)
OMGoodness, you are a rockstar!! First, I love the raw footage of all your emotions. That is what life is, emotions. The good the bad the indifferent. Embrace the highs and the lows equally if you can, no judgement ever just pure respect. Your cycling is amazing and I am with your mother, no freakin’ way I am sleeping in a graveyard…LOL… was there a rule that you had to sleep 3 hrs?? I am in the USA and I have never heard of this cycling race, but love it. In my next life, I’m coming back as a bad ass cyclist like you Amy!! Well Done!!😊😊😊
Wow, I m so impressed by you Amy! Being way out there on the road is nerve wracking enough without having to deal with being alone in the middle of the night. What a monumental ride to take on, still watching the vid but big AY-UP to you lass!!!
Well done Amy. You are amazing and so brave, you're such an inspiration. Even had me crying at the end, when you knew you had completed it in time. Just awesome stuff.
Brilliant Amy & congratulations on completing this epic challenging event which is definitely not for the faint hearted. You should be proud of yourself for completing such a ride. Funny points which had me crying with laughter - . Overnight camping in tent watching you talk to your video was reminiscent of watching’ The Blair witch project’ 👍👍 Hat’s off 💪😀👍
Good on you girl, I don't you but I felt like I was on the ride with you, except you were doing all the work. Well done, an amazing feat, My heart was pounding near the end, would we make it I thought, yep, we did and I felt proud for you. Thank you for sharing your adventure...
You need some victory chimp socks that say "sausage rolls" on the back lol. Wow you are one incredible girl Amy, I so felt for you at the flooded road. You must be so proud of yourself. Happy tears! I watched you come across the Majorca 312 finish line just behind Keaton. Well done. X
Jeez, that was a range of emotions. You are a cycling machine, superb effort. Never doubt yourself, there's only a handful of people in the country who could have done what you did!
Well done. A tough ride in the best conditions. Plenty have tried and dnf. You could have googled that plaque question. Those open roads are horrendous in wind/rain/snow. So a win there
Wow you wonderful, amazing lady. what an achievement, both physically and mentally. You are dead right to be proud of yourself, we are so proud for you. and you did the right thing when you was challenged with the flooded road, you found an alternative route. Ok it did not work out as hopped, but you was able to pull yourself together and did yourself out of trouble. My wife and I enjoy cycling together, and our rides are only a tiny, tiny drop in the ocean compared to the amazing feats that you achieve, but we are proud of our little achievements, that get better all the time. Its the way to go forward, keep believing in yourself and just enjoy what you do.
Amy, I’ve only just started Cycling - two weeks in with my Gravel bike and I’ve got to say you are the most positive I’ve person I’ve ever seen in absolute exhausting conditions. No doubt you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Best of luck and know you so many fans watching and cheering you on
I dont normally comment but in this case I am really impressed seeing your achievement and just keeping going through the low points. This and PBP in a year is incredible!
A very big Job Well Done , What with Paris - Roubiax , Velo Bavarian Pinarello day ,Gravel riding, Mallorca 312 and Italy , you must be worn out . What a star you are , Keep safe.May see you out and about over the Summer.😎😎😀😀
Thanks! Yes a lot going on, so many opportunities coming our way, doesn’t really feel real, but after our next adventure we have some rest time ☺️ much needed haha!
Andy Ultracycling bailed out - you did great Amy ! Ever thought of getting Photochromatic glasses that change the tint with the light levels....I don't think I could ride without glasses on 😮 Yesterday did 195 miles with 13k of elevation in 14hrs....this pales in comparison to what you did my girl.....excellent effort 👋
Amy, you are an absolute star, you overcame so many demons and proved that you were up to it……..and, you had your first sausage roll, your body told you what it needed and you gave it that. At 73 with an ebike I will never be as good as you and 40+ miles is a bloody good day for me, I was a rock climber for over 50 years and now my ebike takes me to wonderful places I would never go, ‘cause there wasn’t a crag at the end, so still making memories.
I hope you got loads of hugs at the finish line Amy - absolutely incredible achievement. I really hope there are loads of girls and women who watch your videos and take great inspiration to get out and ride. You're by far my favourite cycling channel and I hope you and Kyle continue to get invited to do all of these amazing rides across the globe.
Thank you so much 🫶 its still settling in that I did it, this time last week I was a few hours away from the graveyard 😂😂 100% it’s all about encouraging others to ride, it doesn’t matter how far! Thanks for watching ☺️
Incredible accomplishment Amy. 51K of climbing is absolutely insane. I can't believe you didn't let out some proper swear words with everything you went through. Blumin' eck...that was unbelievable 🙌👊🙏

Thank you so so much!! Ahh that’s so great to hear, enjoy your rides ☺️
Thank you I will try these exercises.
Amy, I’ve only just started
Cycling - two weeks in with my
Gravel bike and I’ve got to say you are the most positive I’ve person I’ve ever seen in absolute exhausting conditions. No doubt you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Best of luck and know you so many fans watching and cheering you on
Ahh thank you 🫶🫶 so great to hear that you’ve started cycling, hope you have lots of happy rides 🙌 thanks for watching 🫶
I really enjoyed that trip. Don't get to do long rides now a day's, bit of a bad back but love coming along on your videos. X
Ahh thank you glad you enjoyed it ☺️
I dont normally comment but in this case I am really impressed seeing your achievement and just keeping going through the low points. This and PBP in a year is incredible!
Thank you 🫶
A very big Job Well Done , What with Paris - Roubiax , Velo Bavarian Pinarello day ,Gravel riding, Mallorca 312 and Italy , you must be worn out . What a star you are , Keep safe.May see you out and about over the Summer.😎😎😀😀
Thanks! Yes a lot going on, so many opportunities coming our way, doesn’t really feel real, but after our next adventure we have some rest time ☺️ much needed haha!

YOU ARE A TROOPER,fair play to you,go girl
Thanks!!
Andy Ultracycling bailed out - you did great Amy !
Ever thought of getting Photochromatic glasses that change the tint with the light levels....I don't think I could ride without glasses on 😮
Yesterday did 195 miles with 13k of elevation in 14hrs....this pales in comparison to what you did my girl.....excellent effort 👋
Thanks! Yes I should get some of those actually!
Ahh mega ride well done too ☺️
Amy, you are an absolute star, you overcame so many demons and proved that you were up to it……..and, you had your first sausage roll, your body told you what it needed and you gave it that. At 73 with an ebike I will never be as good as you and 40+ miles is a bloody good day for me, I was a rock climber for over 50 years and now my ebike takes me to wonderful places I would never go, ‘cause there wasn’t a crag at the end, so still making memories.
Aww thanks so much!! Glad you’re out enjoying your rides!! Wow rock climbing now that sounds scary to me! 😅
Absolutely fantastic well done 👏👏👏👏
Thank you!! ☺️
Good work... nettle sting.. welcome to Ultra!
That little garage by Wooler does cycle spares too. I’ve used it when we were staying at the caravan park at Riverside ❤
Such a great garage 🙌🙌
Incredible accomplishment Amy. 51K of climbing is absolutely insane. I can't believe you didn't let out some proper swear words with everything you went through. Blumin' eck...that was unbelievable 🙌👊🙏
Thanks so much! Haha I was close to it 😂😂
Congratulations Amy, you should be proud of yourself for conquering that epic ride.
Amazing achievement of distance, elevation and recording it all too in an amazing time! Well done!👏
