  • Alex and Ollie take on the Inoes Grenadiers, cycling a lap of Mallorca in record time…can they beat them? Averaging 36kmp over 312km, in sweltering heat with vicious headwinds, was one hot, challenging island lap. Would it prove too much for the GCN presenters?

Awesome ride lads. Alex was suffering from the heat for sure. But, didn't quit. That's so cool. Oldie stayed true to his mate. That's all that matters. We all have good and bad days.
I'm reminded that my first 100 mile comes around next April. I'm going from 4 years on a couch, I'm 57yrs old and trying to quit smoking again. So know that hell awaits me. Thing is, if I don't try, then it is game over for me.
I'm not a cyclist at all, I was a runner.
This video inspired me and has warned me too.
