This song hits my feelings. My baby, my son is Army, and he sure does it anyways for the Red White and Blue. I was born and raised in the military life. We as Americans were so proud and in 2024 its not the same. My son is deploying and as proud as I am of him for wanting the USA to be free i no longer feel his life is a fair exchange.
I went with a 17 year old to Afghanistan. He came home safe and took his life at 23. I served beside a muslim who fought for his beloved United States and the gifts it gave his family who fled their homeland in the early 80's. My brothers of all walks of life serving this great and wonderful nation. We are not as divided as the media makes it seem. God Bless America Whoever you pray to, pray for our fallen and pray for their families.

Days like this and songs like this remind me of all the soldiers from my family and even my son and all his brothers who he’s with. He makes less than minimum wage. I hope and pray he will be home before the “fit his the shan” as the awesome Toby Keith said. I love our military veterans and they deserve so much more. They don’t even get respect at home a lot of the time.

Sadly, one of my veterans from Nam told me that I was the first one that had ever done anything for them in recognition. What an absolute shame! I lost my uncle as a result of that hell hole. I’ve often wondered what life would have been like with him, as I was a child when he died. So, without apology, I thank every one of you who served. Most of this current generation do not understand that freedom is not free!
That is an ordeal no veteran should have to endure when they come back from war, whether citizens agreed with the war or not!!! I mean honestly!!! Anyway, thank you for your service and personal sacrifice in a war like that.
