you can put your ELRS module on your car roof with a servo cable, ELRS module only uses 3 wires.
make a servo cable with one side servo connector and plug it in your radio bay module and the other end solder 3 pin pin header and plug it in your ELRS module
pretty sure it takes 4 wires, but yeah.
You need to make a relay or repeater....we used to do this all the time back in 2013. We would have control and video relayed to us in the car and would fly miles around.

I watched one of your videos back in March of this year (2023) not knowing shit about FPV, Radios or anything and jumped head first in this and now I am 100% FPV LIFE! I have been stepping up my game/sketchy flying and getting ready to summit another video to the Drone Hanger 2.0. You guys ROCK!

You can use an SBUS receiver as a repeater and put your ELRS TX on the roof with a separate battery to power it. Example to search is dragonlink repeater.

How about DJI
If your attenna uses sma you can get a cable and just put it on the roof with a little 3d printed stand, you will lose some signal strength though and possibly induce delay

this was awesome! I moved into an rv this year on top of a mountain. I really want to set the passenger seat up as a piloting station. I would need to mount both my antennas outside on the roof but money is the only issue rn. I could even set up a plane launching sled to be triggered once ready inside. Gotta make the inner child happy right?
Hell yes! Do it! If everything was easy and all ready set up, life would not be fun, my friend. The challenge is what I love.

Haha. Well, I use to stunt ride at semi pro level and this was back from 2006-2010. I still have videos on RUclips of us just tearing up the streets but those days are long gone.
