just beautiful flight with matched music ! again, nice video ! I was the first guy ( I believed ) import the Dolphin way before banggood sell it . then I am also the first guy crashed it ! ha........! Had my 3rd one ready to fly, changed set up a bit . from T-motor 2310 2200kv to 3BR 1900kv, and just ordered a 3.5h 4s Li-ion ....$20 with free shipping but by Ocean, takes months !
That's cool! I'm leaving this 2207-1900kv on for now but already have the upgrade ready, a brotherhobby 2507-1750kv to spin the 7" prop easier. Be careful with the small 3.5A Ion, when you get down to 3v per cell it will struggle to deliver current and any higher throttle will sag the voltage, so your trip home will be slow. Any headwind then becomes a problem.
@@ZaksterBlue THX for the heads up bout' the lon down to 3v per cell and ...need to becareful ! by the way , you know Dolphin has a brother now, will soon on Banggood, much bigger brother but nice design ( same designer )
@@AlphardV55WR35 yes, I saw some videos of the Mars. I'm really happy with the Dolphin size and weight, which makes landing in tight spaces easy and less prone to damage.
@@don0219 I'm still using a HAKRC 35A as I don't think the 1750kv motor I'm now using and hqprop 7x4.5" draws any more than this. I did buy a 50A FlyColor ESC but haven't bothered to change it.
Impressive, though it was dead calm looking at the reservoir, as there were no ripples at all. What's the airframe like in the wind? Still, 40 mins is a long time for such a small airframe & I'm guessing you could mount the motor on stand-offs so CG can be achieved with more battery if you wanted. Is this the first time you've used a Vista? I have 2 Air Unit, but so far have only barely used 1.
It's pretty good for its size. You can see from the DVR snippets that it got a little rough in the hills, but I didn't need to keep correcting roll like I have to with the Dragon in ACRO mode. Yes, first time with a Vista on a range plane. Seems fine but I need more cooling still.
It looks like you're either on a public channel for your dji system or you haven't updated it in a bit. You should be getting 50mbps bitrate at closer ranges. Also, what 21700 cells did you use for your pack?
Hi Josh, I've been using 25mbit as it hangs on better and recovers faster when you're at the fringes of signal. And also necessary when flying with others on analogue. TBH, I've been forgetting I have the option to bump it up when I do fly on my own and closer range!
stunning flight mate, so i have a white one coming plan to run 2650mah 4s lipo, or if to heavy then 2200mah 4s, but what motor, i have SS 2214 1400kv or racerstar 2207 1600 and 2200kv, would like to use HQ 7x4.5 as they are decent props
Nice flying, incredible scenery, a lot of fun watching the video, going over the dam was cool.
Thanks mate!
Footage is amazing,
Can't tell how fast you're moving until you flew under the bridge.
Bloody marvellous! Going to have to get one of these, looks like the king of efficiency :)
One and a half years later, still my favourite plane. 🙂
Another day in FPV heaven...lol...It's an efficient cruiser for sure. Remove the GoPro for more battery capacity...🤔🤔🇬🇧
Sacrilege!
Nice! Just got mine in. Was thinking about running a 2306.5 1400KV. I also have a 2306.5 1900kv both on 7042 props. Can't wait!
The 1400kv might be on the slow side unless running 5s?
@@ZaksterBlue yes sir 5 and 6s
@@dronepilot260rc in that case, should be great!
ecxellent flight and really great location in Australia 💯.....big thumbs up and greetings from Germany👍👍

The kangaroos already want to drive this guy off their territory XD
Love the road on the ridge line. :)
Awesome spot to fly. So many things to see👍
Wow that was impressive thanks for sharing
Thanks for the comment! 😀
Is 4s better than 6s for long range on this frame?
@@madladdan possibly, never tried 6s!
Greta video , how do you compare this plane vs the reptile dragon?
A bit early for me to say. More efficient and faster for sure, but will get knocked around by wind a bit more. Ask me again in a month. 😀
Very smooth flying with beautiful scenery... Are you using Inav or Arduplane or manual flight?
INAV acro mode 99% of the time.
I take it your mob of mates had moved on for landing
nice props, where can i find them
I got them from BG.

What engine is on this flight?
Emax Eco II, 2207-1900kv. I've upgraded to 2507-1750kv now. See my build update video.

As for battery, P42A. See my video: ruclips.net/video/Dnd8vi6fNzk/видео.html
how max speed in this setup?
About 140 kph with the small 1900kv motor. You would need higher kV motor and smaller prop to get more speed.
Do you have a total distance on the flight?
Unfortunately not, as I unplugged without taking note of those readings.

Try the 2207 1600kv, it will be lighter and fine with that prop, assuming 2-blade.
