    We are going to really sculpt and tone your upper body today as we focus on your biceps, triceps, and chest muscles! Grab your heavy dumbbells and a medium weight for you- I used 20 lb and 10 lb dumbbells. We will be moving quickly through transitions to make sure we keep our heart rate up and allow short work periods so that you can challenge yourself to pick up the heavy dumbbells! Our work to rest ratio is 2:1 as we are working for 20 seconds and resting for ONLY 10 seconds at a time so I really need you to listen as we move through the motions and get to your next movement quickly! Keep technique and lifting form the most important thing in this workout, and you will feel your arms toning and burning in the first couple minutes! See if you can burn 415 calories like me!

    Stepped up my weights today. Felt like I needed to since my arms didn't feel as sore as I thought they should after doing the upper body workout last week. Don't worry, you don't sound preachy at all. You're just trying to motivate and encourage all of us! Keep up the great work!!

    Arms are on fire! That second move in the last tabata (lifting arms laying on the floor) was surprisingly tough!

    I've been doing Sydney's workouts for years, around 7-10 yrs. I love all her variety. I do others too, but Sydney has all different lengths of workouts, and different intensities. I generally choose a video based on amount of calories and duration of time. Or when having some minor issues, I tailor to less stress for that area mending. Sydney has a diversity of videos that allows for all of that encompassed!

    I almost missed some of the workouts in the end cause of rapid pace but kept going back to finish them. Thanks so much for inspiring us throughout this workout and beyond. I lifted heavier set of dumb bells and was surprisingly able to do them. Just crushed them with you all. Arms are on fire 🔥 and happy 💪

      Hi Pallavi! What weights did you use? Is this lesson also for men? I am a man and started this but it was just too hard! I could only manage with 1 lb weights but didn't last even 8 minutes of this lesson as my arms just gave up completely 😟

    Crushed it!!! Don't ever apologize for "preaching" its that motivation that keeps me comming back for more. I struggle with these arm exercises because when I was born they pinched a nerve in my arm. So if doesn't move quite as well as my other arm. But I challenge myself so that I can over come that weakness because I'm passionate about yoga and there's a lot of arm strength In yoga. So you're helping me in so many ways ♥️♥️💪💪

    Time flies when you're having fun! Loved it, crushed it, went by so quickly! More like this, please! Looks like my 10 pounders are no longer challenging for some things, so I'll be getting heavier dumbbells this weekend - exciting!! Thank you for helping me make so much progress. Question: I pretty much never feel tricep extensions, even with my heaviest weights. I do controlled movements, and my triceps are really not in that great of a shape, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

    We went yard saling this weekend and I was able to get 15 and 20lb dumbbells. I am feeling that difference! I don't know if I'll be able to lift my kids after that one. Thank you!!

    Ouch ouch ouch. I used 20s and 10s. Yikes. Just got home from traveling where I was doing low impact cardio and bodyweight (thank you for posting those last week). Great workout.

    This was so good. I needed a fast workout while traveling and was able to do this in the hotel gym. My heart rate was up and my arms were on fire!

      Hey girl, I am so glad you love them! Since March I have been exclusively using our workouts for my fitness! I used to do gym workouts but when I started this channel I wanted to post every day and so I knew if I wanted to give it my all, I needed to work as hard as I could in our workouts to show you it's possible and it's worth it!
