I hate when people judge others with fear of heights like if your scared of heights it's terrible cause you can't go on much rides without having a panic attack
Cheyenne Palaio I hate roller coasters because of how high they are, my friend said she'd get candy if I did it so I did and I don't regret it at all. It's my favorite ride now.
I'm terrified of heights I can ride the same coaster 20 times in the same day, come back again a day later I'm like aaaahggg I can't get on that thing, takes a few mental punches then I can get myself to get on it, it's been over a year since I've been to a theme park, I'm curious to find out if I still have the guts I'd built up riding them :")
the scariest part of any roller coaster or thrill ride is just waiting and seeing it lol...and then the lift hill. after that, everything is pure joy and happy adrenaline!
@@bocahdongo7769 totally agree. Raging Bull was my first ever hyper coaster and it is just pure fun But I think Diamondback is my favorite for sure. Barely edges out Candymonium
Ahh memories. This was my first coaster ever, and I oddly wasn't nervous at all, considering it's size. My philosophy was if I could ride the biggest one first, all the other ones wouldn't be bad at all. I am now a coaster enthusiast!
hahaha this was what I did too on my first visit to Kings Island. I wouldn't say i was scared of coasters but i definitely had crazy nerves and anxiety. The first night I went on Orion, Flight of Fear, Beast ,and Diamondback. So fun! It was a great way to conquer the fears completely on my full day visit there
Same thing with me! It was my first coaster too! And I thought the same thing! After it I was terrified though but I pushed myself to get on Orion and now it’s my favorite coaster! And now I can put my hands up the whole time on Diamondback! It only took a week!
I highly recommend the seats right behind the very front. You still can see just as if you are in the front, but you get to sit on the sides. Super cool experience!
Wow you guys are stupid. If there's no line, you can probably ride that more than 72 times. It would get really really boring, but you know that's how math works.
My favourite part of Diamondback is when the first drop comes and I've got my arms and legs stretched out. You are pretty much flying out of the seat. It's great.
Nothing like seeing someone so terrified they can't put a sentence together or move go to having a great big smile on their face. And nothing does that like a rollercoaster! Best thing in the world!
Old comment, but I wanted to mention that no matter where you sit, you go at the same speed. The back only feels faster because it accelerates before it’s actually reached the drop. It’s an illusion caused when the back is connected to the front of the coaster and has to travel along at the same speed as the front. The front travels down the drop, and the back of the train has to move at the same speed, so it moves faster as if it were falling already, even though it hasn’t reached the drop just yet. If the back went any slower than the front, then the rows couldn’t be connected. They all have to travel at the same speed to stay connected.
The lift hill is the most terrifying part! I love coasters yet I still get fearful on the incline. I'm slowly conquering my fear of heights to ride taller and taller coasters.
I rode in the very front seat too. Halfway up the track I started panicking so bad 😂😂 I kept thinking the drop was gonna be worse than what it actually is
Andrew Hinton that's not possible because the hill is 74 degrees. It would have to be 90 degrees to lol straight at the ground. You are part of the GP, if you even know what that means.
