I never get tired of enjoying these wonderful musicians. I discovered them in 2006 while I was recovering from cancer surgery. I couldn't get the smile off my face then, and still do when I see them perform. Thanks for the all the smiles and laughs.x
I new fan from Canada! So inspired that I have taken up the uke myself. I suck balls, but imagine that I can play on stage with these wonderful, talented muscians!
So happy I stumbled upon this tonight❣️So special ❣️Talent running out of every pore for each of the orchestra’s members‼️I laughed so hard…the Harlem Globetrotters of ukuleles…thank you for sheer enjoyment ❤️
Das ist das Beste, was ich seit langer Zeit gehört habe. So intelligent, musikalisch hochwertig und unterhaltsam. Einfach fantastisch. Warum sind sie international nicht so bekannt? Bitte macht doch mal eine Deutschland-Tournee. Hopefully See you soon in Germany.❤
One of the things I love about the uke - it can sound so like a balalaika, in the right hands :) 'Fly me off the Handel' just shows what phenomenal performers these guys are. RIP Kitty Lux.
Keeping that straight for each tune inside of that is not easy. Poor bass player having to "shoe horn" in Hotel California yet still holding that medley down takes serious ear skill. Listen, yet ignore. Follow rhythm, but not word; keep groove, but for your tune only...haha. Truly takes skill as a musician looking in.
one of the best gigs ever,,,this show is on a par with... elvis in hawaii pink floyd at earls court..the wall the beatles atshea stadium hendrix at woodstock the greenrose at dornburg castle it doesn't get any better.
Here by way of Foxes and Fossils and Durham Ukulele Orchestra. What an interesting albeit strange and blessed trip.On thing to the thankful for during pandemic lockdown.
Just stumbled across these guys...have been listening to them several times a day and they always bring a smile to my face with their sense of fun and serious musicianship..bravo lads x
I just wish they'd release more digital albums. I love these youtube videos, but I also want to hear them play in high fidelity. I guess I'll have to see em live to do that when they tour the east coast.

I absolutely loved this concert. It was humorous and so inventive. Please bring your tour to some more cities in Canada! Especially Western Canada. I want to go!!!
Well, I'm so surprised by the quality of this show, very good musicians playing good music with a funny instrument and a touch of british humor! What a delight!
I saw a video of George Hinchcliffe that included a method of playing the D chord that I have used ever since. I also use the technique on the E chord. Solved two problems for me quite nicely. Thank you George, I am indebted to you!!
Been passively looking for this full performance for sometime. Worth every note of it I hope they are still performing together. Their chemistry is remarkable!
....singing rounds with one song usually winds up with everyone laughing and blowing the song....great fun. What ?...eight songs at once and trying to focus only on your part = practice - practice - practice...Thank you for posting...mind you I still have a soft spot for my pal..."Puddles the Clown" and his remarkable diction...A.C.Feuerhelm
The ukele is my new love. Big fan of Klezmer and Sephardic music, blues and most classical music; but never much heard or appreciated this humble instrument . You guys are just awesome !!!! 👏👏👏👏👏❤️
That´s how I discovered them about ten years ago. While searching for some Kate Bush, youtube showed a picture with a face not looking like Kate Bush at all and claimed to be an "Ukulele ORCHESTRA". Thought that would be a I silly joke but have more than one reason to praise the moment when I opened that box. Sounds pathetic, I know, but......
They inspired me to learn the uke. I play the violin but this is so wonderful I just have to try. This group is just wonderful, fun and inspiring. My first lesson on Saturday....wish me luck!
Yes, they helped make life just about bearable during the epidemic house arrest. Great version of McCarthurs Park btw. How is that for a blast from the past?
Incredible performance! Fan for life! The joy they infuse into their music wafts over us all, spreading smiles and love. No matter the differences between us, we can all unite in love, admiration, respect and appreciation for the musicians and the amazing work created in their collaboration.
Where do I begin..... Magnificent

Same here.
Me too.couldn't sleep one night..can't get enough now..
Brilliant, the Dick Barton theme, the devils gallop played like I have never heard it before
Dick Barton! Thank you, that was on the end of my tongue. Good memories
I never tire of listening to these guys..superb musicians and they make it so much fun!
Not only fun but they have taken that poor little nearly forgotten Uku to places you could never guess! No genre is safe! Play on....
I new fan from Canada! So inspired that I have taken up the uke myself. I suck balls, but imagine that I can play on stage with these wonderful, talented muscians!
musically outstanding funny and entertaining, this is talent and hard work at it,s best,

Lucky you. ,😂

if there is a musical equivalent of comfort food, then this band is it!!
Music is the only thing getting me through this virus lockdown and these folks are the best.
OMG! We're still in love with these people. Years.....
The best orchestra in the world to me. Pure joy for everyone, on and off stage.
Here by way of Foxes and Fossils and Durham Ukulele Orchestra. What an interesting albeit strange and blessed trip.On thing to the thankful for during pandemic lockdown.
Absoulutely brilliant people. Thankyou so much
So entertaining , so glad I've seen you live not once but twice , best thing since sliced bread
Awesome , McArthurs park is a gem .
I don’t know how much the tickets were for that show, but they were worth it,and we got it for free!!! Thanks Kitty!!
Fallen in love with these guys, I’m trying to catch up with quite a few years of excellent performances.

Le sourire dans face du début à la fin. J'ai dit à mon soprano et mon concert qu'ils n'avaient pas fini avec moi! ;)
A totally entertaining class act. The very best at what they do.
Now I see why this was recommended......
I have a uke and this is actually helpful.
I absolutely loved this concert. It was humorous and so inventive. Please bring your tour to some more cities in Canada! Especially Western Canada. I want to go!!!

I had the privilege of being in their audience at The Kravis Centre a few years ago in W.Palm Fl.
You're all amazing! "Life on mars" is brilliant! Jonty, I LOVE your voice xxx
Life on Mars?? Were we listening to the same thing? This ones "Heroes"
But at least you got the artiste right! It wasnt Hotel California by the Eagles or Highway to Hell.
Sorry, my mistake! Have you people ever covered Love Lifts us Up Where we Belong?
From Illinois, I like this group, truly.
Versatiles, creatives, ukulele beyond ukulele !
Absolutely wonderful!
Excelentes ejecutantes del ukelele , me encantó la orquesta , son magníficos.
Satellite of Love - Lou Reed - Transformer album - great memories.
Never knew such as a ukulele orchestra existed. Top stuff!
This video was suggested by YT when I watched Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq Channel.
Fantastic!
This band is up there with the best around, great sound, superb talent and done with humour, hope you keep going.
I'm gonna go see them again in two months. I can't wait, they are so fab.
They were my inspiration to begin playing the ukulele.
I love them! Do they ever play in the US?
I saw a video of George Hinchcliffe that included a method of playing the D chord that I have used ever since. I also use the technique on the E chord. Solved two problems for me quite nicely. Thank you George, I am indebted to you!!
I love listening to this orchestra - so much more than a "band" - who knew that the Uke could be such a superb conert instrument!
I admit what great musicians
Been passively looking for this full performance for sometime. Worth every note of it I hope they are still performing together. Their chemistry is remarkable!
Hop over to their channel. They're putting up "In isolation" videos every week or so. Still great.
Just come across these guys .what stars
Simply thank you for that joy :)
Greatest performance of "You don't bring me flowers anymore" EVER!
Magnifique. Magique.la grande classe.
Awesome performance! 👏❤
Have loved listening to this group for several years. Great concert. Was waiting for Hester to do her "Teenage Dirtbag,," but it never came.
YESSSS..that song brings tears..they do it so well..
Hello, on top of music..
Humour, as only the British can provide.

Love that interpretation of , "Wuthering Heights".

My world this is so much fun and brilliant!
I'd love to see them live, but this is so good itself.
My son's girlfriend is David's (the one on the left) daughter. We were going to catch them here in Indianapolis in March but the shutdown interfered.
The best of Orchestry!
Such a good group!!!
These people are simply GREAT
This is amazing. I have no words to express.
I discovered initially just the Good Bad & Ugly (excerpt from here). Now, more pleasure.
I saw them about 3 years ago at a local venue. Hope they come back some time.
How have I missed this until now? fantastic!
My favourite line up of these guys.
These excellent, funny, talented musicians were designed for Lockdown!! Thanks so much for this.
I seriously hope that nobody was 'designed for lockdown' 😒. Know what you mean, though.
Yes, they helped make life just about bearable during the epidemic house arrest. Great version of McCarthurs Park btw. How is that for a blast from the past?
@@nickyfasey7243 I ignored all the lockdown crap!

Just my cup of tea. Will be with me on my dessert island.
Brilliant, if everyone in the world played the ukulele it would be a lot happier place 😊😊
I love the Ukes of GB Jonty has a great voice and I'm extremely jealous of his Bass skills. I'm hoping to these next month!!!
I'm looking forward to seeing them in April!
Superb!
