We moved there in the first week of July, 1969. It’s a rural town where everybody knows everybody, so we thought nothing much about eating at the restaurant where they were eating, or seeing one of them at the grocery store. But, amazingly enough, although I loved David Bowie, it wasn’t until recently that I finally put the two together. Or, maybe I did know, but ever since my son died (Covid complications) earlier this year, my memory has been messing up a lot. But, anyway I really love this song! My son would have LOVED this video.
