🥰How Good It Is To Have A Keyboardist Family🥰
Thank you for this video you explained everything I wanted to know.. great job 😁
Many thanks 🙏
Amazing...Arturia is creating the future
They certainly are! Love it!
Thank you for the Video mate, awesome.
Glad you enjoyed it
I've always wanted to produce music or just remix tracks I like into my own "vision". I have the ear for it, found out about it when back in the days the whole school came to me to make them ring tones on Nokia 3310 composer and I did managed to do pretty nice melodies. Now, 150 years later, I decided to start learning more about this craft and ordered Arturia MiniLab 3 as my first ever midi controller. Still have no idea what software I will use, but looking forward to start the journey. Thanks for the review.
More than welcome 🙏
I got a white cable with my white minifuse 2 last week. 👍
That’s good to know! They must have made the change cause of me! Hahahahahaha! Only joking but must look better. 👍🏻
Same here, braided as well, i instantly remembered this video haha
edit: well actually i remembered the minifuse 2 video but yes
I agree, great combo! I love my new MiniLab 3, particularly the DAW integration, faders, and LCD display. If I didn't need/want support for two USB hosts, I'd sell my iConnectAudio4+ and get a MiniFuse. Arturia really hits the sweet spot for product design. Also doesn't hurt that most of their hardware comes in a nice clean white option.
It’s a great combo and the wooden decal is a lovely aesthetic touch too.
But the fact that keyboard wise they build on fantastic key beds.. even as low as £85! It’s a great keyboard.
I love that this interface works with iPad. Any luck connecting other synthesizers in this setup? I’ve been trying to figure out how to marry my korg NTS-1 with the same interface, my iPad and a keyboard so I can tell the korg what notes to play but haven’t had any success yet.
It’s all down to the mAh that it can supply. I think it’s going to be a powered USB hub as the answer.
I loved this tutorial, as the garage band works great with the mini lab 3, is it also the same integration for the new iPad Logic Pro? If so, would you do a tutorial for Logic Pro for iPad and mini lab 3. Thanks for all your videos and the work you put on this channel
I’m currently recording 2 tracks on Logic Pro. Using the KeyLab mkii but will test the mini lab with Logic Pro and report back. 👍🏻
@@JohnPaulMusicUK thank you so much, looking forward to it
I have minifuse 1 and all the settings should be correct, but I can't hear the sound. Gets a signal on the reaper, but no sound from the headphones. ASIO, minifuse ASIO driver, device accepts headphones, etc. everything should be fine. What else could be done? I also reinstalled the driver. The latest Firmware is also. So help is welcome. And i have had this device before and then I got it working almost immediately. Weird.
thanks for directing me here - very useful - im debating the fuse 2 versus fuse4 - I will be playing with singer who plays guitar - only i will do any looping - woudl the 2 or 4 be better in that live siuaiton - i have th e minlab3 and fuse 2 and 4 in my basket - undecided which one to ditch before purchase
Have a look at my review of the MiniFuse 2 and you can weigh it up: ruclips.net/video/gEAexslL5FI/видео.htmlsi=dOmrTYFG9Nnruxmw
@@JohnPaulMusicUK Thanks very helpful
I think I will buy the minifuse 4 for the studio. Based on your video - it looks ideal . For live playing of Loppy pro tracks - I am debating whether I need another interface (smaller) to play live. Can I instead, just take the audio from ipad into the combo amp ? Do I always need an audio interface if trying to use ipad live. ? I am guessing that a usb c to mini jack cable will not be of high enough quality . Loppy Pro is wonderful. Ipad is impressive . But getting auio out of it via usb c is driving me crazy ! - help !!! Hoping to play mic guitr and ipad all through combo amp. Cant work out if I need an interface, mixer or just plug direct into amp - does that make sense?
Does the combo amp have a fx send and return? Asking so you don’t have loopy pro get the sound muddled with the amp.
You are correct in your thinking. You will still need a good audio interface (even if it’s small) to get stuff in and out.
@@JohnPaulMusicUK The amp is Marshall AS50R - yes it does effect loop. It is heavy to carry and often I might have to use house PA . I was hoping to take a small set up in a travel case. if so, would the minifuse 4 act as mixer for loopy, vocals and guitar for live perfornmace and i just ask the house to take the balanced outputs to the mixer? Is this feasible or am I barking up the wrong tree? . Maybe I need two minifuses? live and home studio use . Thank you John
Hey John. With this plugged into an Ipad via usb c, will it charge and send data? Obviously with it plugged into the wall.
Yes 👍🏻
Does it Work standAlone like The Akai mini? For live looping and gigs? With no computer?
It can work as a standalone midi controller. You still need to power it.. so usb or power cable. No sounds like the Akai play but could control lots of things. 👍🏻
@@JohnPaulMusicUK in your opinion witch one is better for standalone live gigs?!
Does Minilab 3 work well with Loopy Pro?
Certainly does!
Can you control a rc 600 with that midi controller ?
Yes 😉
I have both and a tutorial would be awesome
I just got Minilab 3. This thing is an absolute disaster. The endless knobs can't even be set to relative mode. Nothing but a holiday season cash grab. OLED goes completely crazy with CC automation from DAW.
Interesting. Have you configured it how you want it using the midi controller software? What DAW are you using?
