  • Taken from Chapter 23.
In this excerpt, Scourge informed Emperor Vitiate that Darth Nyriss was plotting to depose him and that she was aided by a few other members of the Dark Council. The Emperor, outraged but composed, told Scourge that he would dispatch the Imperial Guard to annihilate the Dark Council.

Palps could frighten the hell out of you, but he couldn't leave you shaking like a child that quickly. To bad Vitiate didn't control the midi-chlorians as well, he could have still been alive. Also the SWTOR stories do not use that multi-voice when he speaks.

They technically do use it when he's resurrected on Yavin and he addresses Revan and the player character

Emperor Vitiate: “if you’re information proves false however you will suffer a fate more terrible than anything you can imagine” and proceeds to show Scourge terrible visions. Not gonna lie Vitiate is probably an even bigger savage than Sidious.

Honestly, the emperor kinda feels like a palpatine rip off in this scene. Just my opinion though

Sidious was joking and laughing when he was first introduced. The complete opposite of what happened here.

@@OkIPullUp2915 And to me this scene does a bad job at writing that mystery. You can have a good written archetype, they exist for a reason, but this didnt resonate with me because there was nothing about this emperor that stood out to me. You like the scene? cool. No need to argue about a book that came out.a decade ago.
