    Very interesting that Veruna, for all his corruption and self-serving deeds, admitted that he would've never aligned with a Sith. Even after 1000 years of being extinct, he recognizes that the Sith are the embodiment of pure evil.
    Meanwhile Nute Gunray was more than happy to ally himself with the Sith.

    "I am Darth Plageuis, Veruna. *Your shepherd.* "
    Goddamn cold. One of my favorite scenes from the novel. I can just picture Veruna flicking on the light, and him seeing the dark figure of a Muun sitting near his bedside. His grim reaper, his shepherd to the nether world of the Force. Scary as hell.

    Plagueis is such an interesting character, I love the voice of Daniel Davis, he adds an air of charm and malevolence to Plagueis. People like Verouna, and Paxtine had no idea who or what they were dealing with. They each made a fatal mistake trying to screw with two dark lords of the Sith.

      I don't think he could've done that to a Force sensative who was trained yet but with years of experimenting perhaps with live subjects. That's just the tip of the iceburg. He could order a Jedi's midi-chlorians to cut off their access to the Force since they serve as intermediaries. He could also order only a certain amount to leave the body, leaving them as nonforce sensatives. Sidious was still playing with fire though. How often have we seen a hero finally master a skill on their death bed, knowing that they must learn or die. Sidious's betrayal could have been the catalyst, but it couldn't since this was a prequel. His midi-chlorians would multiply until he was as strong as Anakin, then stronger. Remember, Anakin is instrumental in the death of the family on Mortis, the ones Plagueis and other Sith theorized on overthrowing. After that, his power would be even greater.

    Imagine a tv season of Darth Plagueis. First 3 episodes being his upbringing and killing Tenebrous. Next 3 episodes killing his rivals and meeting Palpatine. Episode 7-9 training Sidious, undermining the Republic and surviving his assassination attempt. Final episode putting Sidious as Supreme Chancellor and being killed in turn.

      @rhenvao2844 10 месяцев назад +3

      I'm unsure ten episodes would be enough to cover everything. Obviously, some material would be condensed or cut out entirely for the sake of adaptation, but the book is pretty meaty. I could see one episode managing to fit the first four chapters or so into an hour-long episode, though. The second chapter isn't particularly long in terms of stuff actually happening, the third is mostly from the perspective of the Woebegon crew, and the fourth is largely about Plagueis killing them all and meeting 11-4D. I could definitely see those opening chapters being condensed into an hour-long episode.

    • @reginaldshort8486
      @reginaldshort8486 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@rhenvao2844 No ten is enough. Most of these episodes will be filled with politics, philosophy and finance and while I would enjoy it the critics wouldn’t and would say it’s boring and not Star Wars. Remember Plagueis was mentioned only once in a movie and to get an entire series based solely on him is incredible.

    Veruna wasn't framed. He actually did try to have Plagueis killed. He almost succeeded. Plagueis and Palpatine used their political connections to have him removed from office. Veruna then went into "hiding". Plagueis found him, sneaked onto the property and into his room while he slept. Plagueis then told him he was a sith lord while he used the force to shut down Veruna's limited number of midichlorians to shut down. Which slowly and peacefully killed him. The novel "Darth Plagueis" is easily one of the best, if not THE best, Star Wars books. And I don't care what disney and lucasfilm say, I'm count it as the true lore. What they've done to Star Wars is a travesty.
