Shaye is the most talented Unselfish musician I have ever seen.
Where Louis Armstrong left off as the premier musical Ambassador for the United States, Tuba Skinny has taken over, whether they intended to, or know it or not. Everything is at stake in national relations whenever one sets foot in another country, and Tuba Skinny is this generation's premier goodwill ambassadors by default but thank God.
TOTALLY AGREE. COMING DOWN IN SEPT WHAT DATES DO YOU HAVE 9-16 THROUGH 9-27
Tuba Skiiny is a treasure! So lucky to have these young people keeping this great, original American music alive!
I will say it again: "Tuba Skinny makes all other New Orleans bands sound like high school band practice"!!!!
UNESCO should recognize Tuba Skinny as part of the Patrimone de l’humanité.
New Orleans...Royal Street...Sunny Morning...What a treat to have these incredible Musicians playing for everyone.
People from The Big Easy know how lucky we are to have witnessed the growth of these special people.
excellent video of an excellent performance -- Thanks for recording and posting this.
SO TERRIFIC AND WONDERFUL THIS MUSICAL GROUP. I AM AMAZED OF THEIR PERFORMANCE.
This group with my two favorite females, Shaye and Erika cannot be beat. You guys are great too, don't get me wrong.Love y"all.
Ericka looked and sang lovely!⚘ fv n' Okc.
I love Shaye playing the cornet with one hand just like Fats Dominos band leader Dave Bartholomew during “Let The Four Winds Blow”
Simply outstanding video of Tuba Skinny, the gold standard of its’ genre. This is the band folks will line up to see and hear. May Tuba Skinny go on for years to come, such perfection is rare. Thanks for the video. I’d love to see if there are any recorded interviews with the band members.
It’s very good Jim but please check out this recording made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2013 at their studios in Sydney. ruclips.net/video/ffXQ6qH3gwU/видео.html. It’s around 30 minutes long, contains 6 tunes a short interview with Erika about her early influences and also features Shaye giving extended introductions to a couple of numbers. As you would expect from their professional technicians both visual and audio the results are nothing short of spectacular. The close up camera work is especially good. You will never hear Erika recorded so well and in such great voice either! You won’t be disappointed .
What a terrific set, start to finish ! Tight as the skin on Erika's drum with moments for each of them to soar .....
And very well recorded; thank you ... merci beau-coup.
Qué Gran Privilegio y Alegría Escucharlos Érika Shaye Y todos los integrantes. . ...Es Tan Místico!7
A sweet salad of sound leafy, green and luscious
Fats would have loved this version of his “Let the Four Winds Blow” Is there anything this wonderful group of musicians can’t play.
In the 20th century, the dance music of the 19th century (waltz, polka, march) became the (light) classical music, performed in concert halls around the globe.
20th century dance music: ragtime, hot jazz, will become the 21st century's (light) CLASSICAL music. It will not become immensely popular, no classical music is, but it has the originality and complexity to take its place in the classical music (light variety) repertoire.
We're not there yet, but we're getting there. Tuba Skinny and Shaye are in the forefront, paving the way...
BTW: Shaye plays an absolutely gorgeous cornet... (and I'm not a wind instrument person)
Man this is simply a great set of superb music.
Tears...Thank you for recording and sharing!!
Listen to you makes our days brighter, keep it up guys
Thanks for these domila we don't get to see Erika in New Orleans much anymore since she moved to Tennessee.
Gosh Darn. I love you GUYS. We were fortunately able to see you all live in Illinois. You were great, fantastic and beyond belief wonderful. We try to be in NOLA AT least 2 to three times a year but never seem to catch y'all performing. Maybe our first or second trip down from Chicago many years ago. Love you all. Then I found you on RUclips. OMG

Love your work!
I hope you can make it to Oz.
What a surprise, hearing Max sing. He’s pretty good.
Pretty good harmony with Erika!!!!
Yes he is, Michael, a great rendition from the whole band, in the opinion of a long term fan of the Fat Man.
You guys have really knocked my socks off with your great Dixieland jazz band music! You are magnificent! Even better than preservation hall jazz band right now in America! Blessings to you guys and keep impressing us with your great music! Will miss Erika ever come back to your band??
I’m agree, this has to be one of the best recorded sets of TS I have heard yet. Sound, acoustics are great, not to mention the music and vocals were second to none. They are just great. Saw them at cutting room in nyc several weeks ago: perfection!
Check out the little brown church set. That's my favorite TS that I have found so far.
I agree also....The recording is super and so are they. Saw them at the cutting Room also last Sept.
Check out this recording . ruclips.net/video/ffXQ6qH3gwU/видео.html . It was made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in their studio in Sydney. It leaves everything else in the dust. 30 minutes, six tunes, a short interview with Erika , extended introductions to a couple of numbers by Shaye , brilliant close ups and exquisite sound. If only all their videos were of such high quality all of us fans would be in heaven.
What I've Always thought of as The First Team; revived my long dormant Interest.
Hearing Erika singing in a black dress is simply a pleasure. And the other members are just as great.
Gunnar Wildfang
Das stimmt! Prima!
Bravo et Merci !
Shaye is happiest wen she takes off her shoes:-) :-) :-)
Most creative trombone on the scene...Craig's clarinet is Sidney Bechet...
Beau programme... Rainy nights , magnolia stroll (nouveauté 2019) , Tupelo pine ...
Absolutely brilliant
hello a Saye and the band.. saludos a new crooner, is good voice, but he is not new in the band.. excelent in the guitar larga vida a Saye y su banda.. saludos desde Chile octava region
Great job domila - video/audio superb!
Outstanding percussionist!
Max sings and not bad either! Next thing you know we'll find out that Barnabas plays banjo!
barnabas plays a mean banjo, even plays cornet ...

@@mikierp don't take my word for it, but I think Barnabus's original instrument was guitar.
@@stevegrooms1142 didn't know that Steve!
Bonus; Erika both on Drum and Singing!
Will you ever come to Argentina? Here you would be very well received. I love you!
Let the Four Winds Blow sounds like the same song as The Midnight Special. Nice banjo solo although short.
Perfect uniformity for want of a better word! Nobody trying to outdo the the others! I think Shaye keeps them all in line to get that perfect combination!
Pay attention to how Shay gets a song started.
What a great set! Erika never looks less than gorgeous, but in this dress she hits a new level. TS doesn't perform a hotter number than Gimme Some. The version of it given here benefits from sparkling contributions from Todd and Robin.
Shea and Erika forgot their shoes. Robin misplaced his razor and forgets some French words. But they never forget how to play. Lucky Perigueux.
Bravo Bravo. Pozdrawiam z Polski
MOLTO BRAVI
💐💐💐
!!!
sorry saludos a new singer , saludos a Max..
Erika is a goddess
.... Oui, il faisait chaud 🥵
Il faudra revenir ... À bientôt. Santé !!
Sounds perfect for the SW France. Maybe a bigger dose of Cahors!
Continuano i soli drums

Amos 3:15 (NKJV) I will destroy the winter house along with the summer house; The houses of ivory shall perish, And the great houses shall have an end," Says the LORD.
WOW - God has spoken & put it in writing - so what does this truly mean for us??? Trust in Jesus the Christ & we will never fear anything! God always provides for His own. AMEN
