- Here is the second footage in a string of 3 of a hot jazzy session with Tuba Skinny in the very crowded foyer of the Casino @ Jazz aux Sources, Châtel-Guyon, France, May 19th, 2018. Tuba Skinny stayed for three days of their European Tour in this charming old, little spa town; their first appearance was well received, to say the least. People in the audience were standing almost on top of each other, The room was jam-packed. Eventually it got impossible to stay in a back position for filming, due to dancers obscuring the view. This part is shot sitting on the floor at the band's feet. We must Thank TS for allowing us to get that close, part 3 will be posted pretty soon. Later on we will share another version, another angle. Here it is a hand-held SONY HandyCam HDR-XR520VE in FH quality.

Tuba Kinny is so divine that when I get to afterlife they will be there, playing music to welcome me and celebrating me outfoxing the devil and sneaking in to heaven in spite of my wicked and naughty bad habits! I smoked, drank, swore, gambled, chased women way more than I should have but I made so many people laugh with my comedy plays and tall tales, some spirit will let me slip in the back door instead of the pearly gates.
I would have loved to have been there. Hopefully they will come back to Europe soon. No matter where, I'll definitely get there.

this cannot be real! I must be dreaming. they are too young to be that talented. they play and sing one classic jazz song after another without any sheet music. could it be that they have been reincarnated from the great jazz musicians of a by gone era. I cannot understand why people will pay big bucks to go to a concert and hear bands and singers that screech and holler and wiggle their rear ends at the audience. if only the now lost generation could hear ts.

Love these guys-they got the sound-and I go back to Preservation Hall, Dixieland Hall and another that was on St. Anne just off the square in the 60's. Loved the Dirty Dozen, also. They used to play Rockefellers on Washington Ave. in Houston.
