When it comes to romantic relationships she’s a bad person, but otherwise she’s very kind and intelligent, she also cares for her friends and mikes friends
Very true, I feel like she's not ready for a relationship whatsoever, everything went too quickly. With Steve, it was probably because she needed a male figure to reassure her but with Jonathan, it was based on shared trauma. Now their relationship is starting to deteriorate because jo went away and Steve still has feelings for her. The shared trauma isn't enough to keep them together.
I think Nancy is a great person but she doesn't think very much about other people's feelings when making decisions. She holds people (and herself) to ridiculously high standards and I just don't think she really knows what true love means. She's too forward and doesn't slow down for anyone.
She's just a teenager with many traumas, especially after the death of her best friend. But she's still a great person, I can't hate her just for that.
@@adw6894and who's fault was sit that he BEST FRIEND died, ohh let me guess wasn't it her who took barb to the party just because she wanted to have sex with Steve even though barb didn't wanted to go and you know what that okay if you're friends with someone you will expect them to support you and so barb did but when the party was over she didn't even care about barb, knowing very clearly that will was missing and probably dead she didn't care that it was dangerous outside and she told her to go home on her own, so the only thing that's upsetting Nancy is not that her best friend died but the fact that her best friend died because of her and she knows it that's why she can't get over it
Sono d'accordo solo per le prime 7 parole, non credo sia un problema pensare prima a se stessi perché in fondo noi stessi saremo gli unici che non ci deluderanno mai
And why was Steve the only one who reacted like a normal person about it and not Nancy who just stays close to Jonathan? He didn't even explain to her what he was doing there or why he took pictures of her.
@@Threeleebird he did explain, he took pictures of her naked through her window because he was looking for his brother. Definitely clears his name right
He didn't take any nudes ... He stopped shooting as soon as they went more than kissing... Then he started taking pictures of barbara.. he was trying to capturing emotions of them not their nudes... Jhonathan himself said in series he likes to talk people via pictures rather than in person... Tearing pictures and a punch would be okay but breaking his camera was too much.
Sorry if this comment will offend you, but I gotta say my opinion: Nancy cared about Barb and was worried about her being gone, she saved Max by shooting Vecna, she saved Steve, she cared about a 90 year old woman, she danced with Dustin when nobody wanted to. She basically saved most of her brother friends. I don't consider her bad just because of her love triangle AT ALL. Right now, she's just friends with Steve. So...yeah.
totally, she's also still in high school, I think people forget that even though the series has been on for around 6-7 years, her character is still a high school student who has gone through a lot of trauma and it's not as if mental health was super well known in the 80s, especially in a small town in Indiana and even if she saw a therapist, it's not like she could actually talk about what has been happening to her without ending up in Penhurst herself
This is literally a What a normal person should do you SHOULD save your friended and people you want to. Ypu woukd care abt your dead friend the only thing valid is the dances which Dustin but that just feast like pity to me

They broke up and Steve was trying to win her back, she didn’t cheat on him 4. She didn’t cheat on Johnathon in season 4 so ha! She ain’t a bad person- She’s a teenager
@@user-pd8nc1nu1s More like what teen makes the right choices? They are all figuring everything out. Nancy and Steve didn’t have a real relationship. She found him hot and he was immature. It wasn’t until Steve was alone and babysitting did he mature and realize what he wants. A family (not said, but you can kinda tell). Jonathan, while kinda a dick for not being there for Nancy, is scared of the future. He has yet to start is maturing and hopefully the season tackles that. Otherwise his character will be ruined by the 4th season depiction.
@@user-pd8nc1nu1snancy isnt a bad person, she doesnt know how to handle her feelings most likely due to how she grew up, since mike has the same problem.
the way nancy is written is very realistic. she’s been through a lot and clings to the person showing her the most love in the moment. she quickly befriends robin in s4 because robin was showing her a new source kindness. the same goes for steve and jonathan. you could attribute this to her lacking love from her parents and losing, barb, her best friend in season one.
But how is this a good thing? If anything, it just means she’s toxic and should be avoided because she is a borderline personality disorder who only shows intense interest to the people in front of her, then loses interest to the people not in her immediate vicinity. Trauma and grief are one thing, but they aren’t excuses to abuse and lead people on. Steve is a good person who has frankly grown a lot throughout the show, way more than Nancy has at this point. It doesn’t matter how realistic, or understandable her grief or trauma is, it doesn’t make what she’s doing right.
“Misunderstands her friendship with Johnathan” yeah I’m totally cool with all my friends taking pictures of me changing without asking 🤨 I’m on Steve’s side on that one tbh
Yeah, Steve was kinda right in this situation. If someone starts taking photos of his girlfriend changing, it kinda makes sense why did he breaked his camera. I don't get it why people got mad at Steve in that scene.
Jonathan's intentions were to find his brother, but ofc Steve was mad at someone taking photos of him. But then again why shouldn't Jonathan be mad if someone started talking bs about someone's family? Especially if Jonathan's brother had gone missing. Jonathan's intentions to take photos of Steve weren't bad, Steve was rightfully mad because someone took photos of him. However, Jonathan was also rightfully mad that someone called his family a bunch of screw ups
@@thevideocommenter3061 No, what it’s doing is making Nancy delirious. You can and should still be held accountable for saying stuff while drunk; on the other hand she was intoxicated and you can’t always trust what someone says whilst in that state of mind. But of course, she is still responsible for what she said.
@@nodruj8681Look, Jonathan was a weirdo, but at the end of the day both of them were in the wrong. Jonathan was a weirdo, but did Steve really have to go on and trash the Byers family like that? The only person in the right in that scene is Nancy because she was just kinda there and she tried to stop the fight (she could’ve done more than just use her words though).
I know, and I thought I was the only one who thought that, in general I love Nancy and I didn't mind her being with Jonathan, but she didn't break up with Steve before doing so. And then she is gaining her feelings back for Steve just because she couldn't see Jonathan over spring.
They all do I swear- Mike literally can’t say I love you,Karen and Ted are terrible and can’t express their love when they barely have any,and Nancy is jumping from one to another every season when she can’t even express love. I don’t think she’s ready for a relationship at all,her problem is her character doesn’t deserve a relationship yet and she’s not mature.

if what he means by nancy cheating with jonathan on steve is when they were at murray’s house, i thought her and steve had already broken up. it was like an implied one not straight said but they both knew after she didn’t say ily and he went back into the gym once they talked abt her being drunk and saying everything is bs
1. After barb goes missing, Steve tells Nancy to not tell the cops about the alcohol at their party, or to mention his parents 2. Nancy is having breakdowns thinking she is at fault for barbs death, and no one is listening to her. 3. The only person who actually listened, and had similar experiences, was Jonathan, that's literally their whole relationship, "shared trauma". 4. After Steve sees Nancy hanging out with Jonathan, he PUBLICLY, humiliated her. 5. It really took getting beat up twice, (Jonathan, and Steve's friend), to realize how much of a asshole he has been, and it's only after he gets beat up that he decides, to be a good guy. Yes, Nancy isn't the perfect person, but to blame everything on Nancy is just really dumb.
@@DubsTV93 Nancy and Barb were really good friends and all the pictures on the billboard in her room show it, that's why she feels so guilty about it bc if she hadn't tried to change, Barb would possibly still be alive. And since she tried to change for Steve I don't see how she was a "shitty girlfriend" but ofc she felt guilty about it and tried to go back to being herself but her depression and guilt almost made that impossible for her. I really don't see how she's at fault here.
But I have a question 🙋♀️. Didn’t Steve’s so called “Friends” humiliate Nancy! Not Steve! I remember watching it and Steve told his fake friends that they shouldn’t have wrote that on the billboard. Doesn’t this mean that Steve didn’t actually try to humiliate Nancy but yeah he told his “Friends” but if you were in that situation and you didn’t know that those were fake friend wouldn’t you tell them too!? Basically to rap it all up I think that Steve wasn’t to be blamed for the writing on the billboard for telling the people he thought he could trust about how he THOUGHT that Nancy was cheating on him! I’m not saying that he wasn’t being kinda mean at first, I’m just kindly stating that he shouldn’t really be blamed for something he didn’t do.
Nancy has a lot of trauma from barb. It wasn’t her fault that Steve was being a jerk about it. Steve in season 1 was the worst character so I don’t blame her for wanting to break up
@KenyaGirly ok???? that does not mean Jonathan was in the right, Steve destroying his camera is literally just retaliation to Jonathan *taking pictures of his girlfriend while she was changing her clothes*
@@vrnciaa he didn't say those things until he thought Nancy was cheating on him with Jonathan, he was in the wrong for that but that's an entirely different situation
she was drunk and stressed and steve didn't care at all about the guilt she was feeling towards Barbara's parents. He kept pushing her to pretend things were normal. He reacted by leaving her drunk at a party with other drunk teens, among them people who hated her. I can't believe people have not pointed out the seriousness of such a situation. But sure, lets give Steve the best boyfriend award. What did he ever do besides calling her a slut, but hey he apologised so obviously he is a good person.
She sounds normal to me. People forget that she also lost her best friend, so she was also grieving. Steve really did not give her time after Barbs death.
@@dracuzura She was with Steve, they had a little fight, then went to Murray's place they ended up banging Byers. While, at the time, Steve was running around trying to get apology flowers for her. Pretty scummy in particular due to their history and Steve's trusting her.

She's not evil probably just being immature in her relationships, she's still kind to her friends like the time where she asked Dustin for a dance because she saw him crying on the bench.
Yes but why am I still mad that she did not care at all at first when will went missing and was being so mean at like the very very beginning of the show 😭💀also it’s at least a little bit her fault for leaving Barbara 🤷🏻♀️ but I haven’t finished the show yet so she probably gets better
She definitely started out as bad person. But how can you call her bad for her relationships. She protected her brother and his friends. She was genuinely in tears when she saw a vision of her family die and many other people too. She went to Upside Down, to prevent One from killing more people, including her friends and family. Steve is an example of dynamic character, from a bully to fully realized protagonist of the show.
“She starts an argument with Steve by calling their relationship bullshit.” What show were you even watching? Nancy’s best friend Barb was missing and Nancy was distraught, nobody was listening when she asked for help, Steve wasn’t listening to her at all, so she’s spirally into depression, she gets drunk and lashes out. People get angry when they’re grieving and there’s different ways to grieve. Steve even admits afterward that he was a shit boyfriend afterward. Seriously, you people need to stop blaming Nancy. I get that she isn’t perfect but no character on this show is.
Seriosly, this is the first time I finally hear someone blame on Nancy. But I don’t think only one is right and one is wrong. They were both wrong. You can’t just blame everything on one character. Steve was kind of an asshole in the first season, but he changed. But even if Nancy was grieving, it doesn’t give her the right to just start a fight out of nowhere, cheat on her boyfriend and then agree that Steve was the one doing wrong. Like when Steve said that he’s a bad boyfriend and in season 4 he says that he is finally going to the right direction, Nancy has never told she cheated or apologized for her drunk-scene
Right She's a teen and is allowed to be confused . Probably won't marry either and the moment guys get a chance to cheat most will sooo gotta have fun too while young
She is teenager so it's normal if she couldn't tackle and understand relations but on that basis calling her bad is not justified.... She is a good person and helped her friends and family in every season ❤
Nancy isn’t a bad person. She has romantic relationship problems but she cares about people. Plus when he went to apologize it was because he left when she was drunk.
She really doesn't care fir her friends though 😅 she cared about barb after she died same with fred. But as they were alive she didn't really care for them 😂
When you're a teen, relationships are confusing and messy. Sometimes you can't sort your own feelings, and you aren't able to have mature communication about what you want to say. We have to remember that she also associates a relationship with Steve with extreme guilt because of the loss of her friend when they first got together. She was staying with him for the wrong reasons because of that guilt. And that was why she called their relationship "bullsh!t" when she was drunk. At the time, he also wasn't regarding her feelings on the matter, because she was still going through the grief of it in the trauma. Also, she didn't actually cheat on Steve. They were on a break, but it was implied that it was more than that and just kinder to say otherwise. Now that we have seen Steve and his character development, it is possible that he can be a better partner in the future. We're already seeing some lack of communication between Nancy and Jonathan, which shows that their relationship might be in trouble down the line. So if Steve and Nancy do you get back together, we can only hope that they'll both be more mature and it'll be the right person, right time at that point. (UPDATED NOTES: If my comment offended anyone who didn't read past the first couple sentences, then don't bother commenting that you disagree, or that you aren't going to read the rest, because the first sentences aren't even the full point. (Not to mention, comprehension skills are key given the word, "Sometimes" being included. If you don't understand that, my condolences.) Also, if the roles were reversed and Steve was in Nancy's place, I would still feel the same. I don't understand why their gender matters in this case. If he lost a friend and was with someone out of guilt, then met someone he actually felt better around, it's the same. I also do not applaud Nancy's actions. I am not justifying her decision regarding Steve. It was my impression from watching the episode in question that their relationship was doomed. She was a mess, and (as mentioned in my original statement) she was undergoing grief and other emotions she couldn't sort out. Should she have ended things absolutely before she got with someone else? Yes, 100%. She clung to Jonathan and found herself in a messy situation. But she made a stupid decision and that's what makes her human. And gives opportunity for character growth, which we've seen on both ends of Nancy and Steve (more so Steve). The final point here is, she is a teenager CHARACTER, written by adults based on how they think a teen would act in the 80's. The actress is not a teen, obviously, but she's supposed to be and that's how you have to view her when discussing her decisions. I'm sorry if any teens were offended in the comments from my first statement, but speaking as someone with experience of literally having been a teenager in the past, looking back it's absolutely not inaccurate. Just enjoy being a kid and not worrying about what silly people like me on the internet say. Have a great day. :)
Still love her. Apart from her relationships she's really sweet. I always think of the scene where she dances with Dustin when noone wanted to dance with him. People can be good people even when they're not perfect in every life situation :)
They were already broken up when Johnathon and Nancy sleep together in s2. Outside the basketball court happened before they went to murries place. It’s literally mentioned in the show, “you and the princess break up for one day and she’s already off with the freak” If you’re going to bag a character at least get your information correct.
I mean they never actually did if u think back to the scene of Dustin making Steve drive him somewhere. They never officially broke up but Steve didn’t care cuz he loved her which Good on him cuz I would’ve been mad like if u wanna be over say it don’t dance around it which she did. I like Nancy now but my god was she annoying for a bit
Finally someone said it. Nancy isn't over all evil or anything like that, but she isn't considerate towards the feelings of Steve and Jonathan in their relationship. It's selfish of her to be with Steve when she didn't genuinely love him, and the same thing with Jonathan. She doesn't communicate with her significant other that she is losing interest in them when she should be and continues to flirt with the other guy. It also annoyed me that she got jealous of Robin and was being rude to her when she's not even in a relationship with Steve and is currently with Jonathan.
omg ikr I felt so bad for Robin I mean Nancy was in a relationship with Jonathan and Robin is free to be in a relationship even she isn't into boys that was rlly rude and it make me wanna punch her ,Robin was literally trying to talk to her to fix the relationship like really doing her best te be nice but Nancy was very rude
@@Shreya0603 Right?! It annoyed me so much. Robin didn't need to be going out of her way to reassure Nacy that there was nothing romantic between her and Steve.
I agree she was never my favorite character and she just seems like she’s switching feelings a lot it’s hard to tell who she likes plus when she was jealous of robin, robin tried to tell her she was gay but Nancy wasn’t understanding Edit:I think Nancy should be single honestly
She’s a bad person in like relationships with like boyfriends and stuff, but otherwise she’s a good kind person and she cares for people and she’s very polite.
nancy was under the influence of alcohol (something which i'm pretty sure she wasn't super experienced with) when she said that her and steve's relationship was bullsh*t.
she was mad at him because he escalated the situation and broke Jonathans property. He only got pictures of Nancy tho, so Nancy should be the one to choose how to deal with the situation. She was shocked at the fact that he took them, but was even more upset at the fact that they started to basically harass as bully him. I’m not really seeing much of a point with your argument.
@@aldendomino3523 I understand that, he only got pictures of Nancy in a bra tho, she’s the only one in a revealing picture so she should be the one to deal with it. The way steve and his former friends handled the situation was childish, they bullied him and broke his camera which he clearly cared for. Nancy wasn’t even that upset about it, which makes their reaction to the pictures very childish and unnecessary.
She was a confused teen girl who just lost her best friend and didn’t know how to deal with it, also during the argument, she was drunk and the only reason she was no longer an innocent person is because Steve changed her negatively
Nancy is my favourite character. I always feel so bad for Nancy, her trauma is so underrated and nobody in the show comforts her about it (eg when el is looking for will and Barb in her mind and she says Barb is gone no one notices Nancy’s panic and shock but cuts straight to where’s will and are you ok El) And if you’re gonna say “oh well it’s her fault she’s dead bc she told her to leave” they were being stupid teenagers, also how would she know that a huge monster with a face that opened up existed and was currently in hawkins?!
@@bakashinji I dont like it THAT much but theres no need to come for the whole thing in a random comment section on a youtube short. Let people enjoy things lmao.
You shouldn't forget that she doesn't freely got to see real love in that kind of way because her parents don't show much love to each other or say it so maybe it's just hard for her and mike also
Yeah but that doesn't get anyone an excuse to cheat, there other people in the series who lots of trauma or no real example of love such as Jonathan, Will, Mike, El, Max, and Billy. But that still doesn't excuse any of their actions. Every single on of them either has parents who are divorced or parents who dont love each other or like El just hasn't seen love in that way. So having no real example of love in your life does not mean you have the excuse to cheat on people or not treat them as they deserve
i think it could have something to do with her family too. like mike struggles to say he loves el. i think it’s because they both witness how their mom n ted both don’t have so much of a good and healthy relationship. so they’re not the best with relationships.
Nancy isn't evil, she grew up in a household where there really wasn't an example of healthy romantic love, and on top of that she doesn't genuinely love Steve. You can't just blatantly say a character is something without understanding the context of the character. Sure what she did was awful, but it's also important to consider that she's just a teenager, and she does try her best.
there is a fine line between evil and bad. You can’t just say that about a video without realizing the context of it. What Nancy does is bad. It’s close enough to cheating if it isn’t just that. Nobody cares if she’s a teenager. I have no idea why this generation uses that excuse of being a teen/minor to rationalize any bad that comes there way. You said it yourself, what she did was bad. And that’s that. Regardless of what age she is.
Pretty sure in season 4 they basically outright said that she is in love with Steve. They had multiple subtle moments and she dived into the portal with no concern for her own wellbeing on behalf of Steve, even eddie acknowledges this.
@@nburkeofficials3013 idk if she is actually in love with him. I think she loves him and I genuinely believe Nancy would have jumped in the water with no concern of herself for anyone she loved, Mike, El, Max, Dustin, even Robin. Like she does genuinely care for people you see this in the way interacts with El or how she wanted to make Dustin feel better during the dance. I just think she cares about her friends and would do anything for them. I think Eddie might have pointed that out for the reason that Steve was sad and feeling bad about his situation and you act like Nancy was the only one that did it. Like Robin right in too after Nancy without concern for herself after Nancy went in she didn't hesitate and just jumped right in to help I mean by Eddie's logic in that scene that would be Robin in love Nancy and though I'm all for a happy Ronance (Nancy x Robin) story I don't believe Robin was in love with Nancy at this point in the show anyways. And we already know Eddie only because he was afraid to be left alone, at least that's what he said. I personally think Eddie did genuinely want to help and save Steve and the other girls as well because we know he really does care about people and humanity. Idk I kind of think of Eddie with the personality or Robin and like looks of Nancy but that's what I say lol. It is kind of true though his this confident weirdo who is unapologetically themselves, hmm remind of someone *cough* Robin *cough* but he has long brown curly hair and pretty doe eyes like Nancy lol it I totally see it lol anyways that went way off topic point is we can't really say for sure especially since it was the only straight forward line/scene about Nancy being in love and by Eddie's logic in that scene he would also be saying that Robin in love with Nancy so... Idk just my thoughts. I think the writing put it in there to make us think we should take it literally but logically we shouldn't. Idk again just my opinion but I love reading people's thoughts. Even if don't always agree with them I love how everybody thinks differently
You must be remembering something differently cause she never said Jonathan took too long. Also, Steve calling her a slut seems a bit more unforgivable than just ‘oh look he cleaned it up after though so it’s fine’ like c’mon people
I feel like the reason she called her and Steve’s relationship bullshit in season two is because she was still grieving over the loss of Barbra, and she stills thinks it’s her fault that Barbra is dead & in season four Nancy wasn’t flirting with Steve, Steve was flirting with her. I think it was obvious that Nancy didn’t reciprocate
this is literally how most high school relationships are. Sorry, that's just, literally it's how it is. It sucks but it doesn't make them bad people, just their actions. If they continue to grow and don't change, then it's not so great. But also, no one has to "wait" for anyone.
I love Nancy but just to be clear, just cause high schoolers do these stuff in highschool doesn’t make it right for everyone else to do the same. Always try to be better, if you’re in a relationship and u get hurt multiple times then you’ll obviously see them as a bad person. it’s just that simple, but also Nancy doesn’t carry all of the fault here, she was distraught and I get it. She wasn’t mentally there
Wow so just bc other ppl do it it's okay? I bet you do this too. It's basically just saying other ppl bully so it makes it ok for you to bully bad person like pls
Bruh they were together. They had a fight and it was clear their relationship might be over but neither one of them had actually pulled the plug yet. Steve literally shows up at her house intending to work on their relationship. But after everything goes down with the upside down bullshit and he sees how she looks at Jonathan, he was the one who finally pulled the plug and was nice about it because he is a nice guy. But it has always bothered me that he never knew she'd already slept with Jonathan by that point without officially ending her relationship with him. I like Nancy, but it was a dick move and I'd say so to any friend who treated their boyfriend this way.
Yes, not everything has to be actually literal, it was very clear that their relationship has run its course. Steve still wanted to make it work but they weren't meant to be like nancy and Jonathon are. Hope the writers don't mess it up
Nancy is the BEST most BEAUTIFUL soul in the show. She's kind, she helps people, she hates injustice, she pursues the truth, and she's just a teenager. Nancy is literally the heart of the show for me. I recently just watched Stranger Things on a friend recommendation, and I don't regret it, but I don't ignore that I literally fell in love with Nancy, and everything NANCY... The show reminded me of the old days of which I was born and raised, and Nancy made me feel alive. I'm subjectively biased, yes, and I have never loved a fictional character more than Nancy ♥️
A bad person is someone who does bad things to others. So if u have hard times understanding love then don't be in relationships. Don't play with the emotions of others and not expect to be called a bad person. Take some accountability for ur actions.
yeah yeah she for sure just “had a hard time understanding romance” definitely a perfectly good excuse to cheat, just because she’s not evil and a protagonist doesn’t mean she’s a terrible person
To be honest it doesn’t really feel like Nancy Steve and Johnathan are teenagers. In part because they’re not irl, but partly because of their actions. One moment they’re stupid teenagers and the next they all become highly intelligent badasses fighting governments and monsters. The dichotomy feels too large imo.
Lets not make her cheating an excuse to forget the fact she is one of, if not the smartest character in the group? she was literally chosen by vecna to show the truth of his past, she found a way alongside Robin to figure out how to save Max, She’s been in the upside down the most time (3) (except if you consider will being there for the longest, but only one time) She kind of saved Joyce by burning the mind flayer out of will in season 2, and she’s saved/helped almost everyone? is she still a bad character?
"Misunderstands her friendship?" He literally caught the dude stalking her house and taking half naked photos of her. I think he reacted pretty normally
@NONE you cant tell me you wouldnt react the same way as steve if you found out a guy was outside ur house at night time taking photos of you while you were abt to have sex
@NONE nah dude he only followed her to a party he wants invited to and took pictures of her and barb while hiding in the bushes, totally not stalking her

And then Steve had every right to feel the way he did , Jonathan was literally stalking them and took unsolicited pictures of them..that literally a crime 💀
Don't watch the show but saw the scene so don't know if im missing anything but: I wanna point out, they were massive print outs. That he had in his bag, of her changing. It was far more disturbing since he didn't destory it afterward but kept it. And I never see that fact brought up
@@daizzz5348 agreed, also when thought about I believe if I remember correctly, he is given the benefit of the doubt because he is looking for his brother. From the people being photo graphed perspective he's the weird kid that stalked them from the bushes for who knows how long, took pictures of them changing. Saying he was looking for his brother doesn't justify it either since they know they are innocent and he kept the creep shot specifically. On top of all that, if I remember the photo correctly he took it with her changing as the focus, which has nothing to do with anything related to his search for his brother and is simply just a personally taken creep shot.
@@arkhuntertoxic Yes! I did not like his character in the first season at all, and hated the fact that Nancy got with him despite the fact that she knew he took pics of her. He didn't need to take a photo of the other teens at the party, and he didn't need to take a pic of half naked Nancy. Its also the fact that he printed the photo on a huge piece of paper, and was planning on taking those pics home for god knows what.
I see more of a confused girl who doesn’t know what she wants honestly, this is actually typical in younger women who don’t know if they want a relationship or to be single kinda see different guys! This is why i always tell people a little younger than me to wait for a serious relationship till your near late 20s because your taste and likes will change by the time your 25 and the person you fell in love with at teens or early 20s you’ll mostly likely end up falling out of love do to you’ve changed a lot by the time your 25!
It doesn’t matter if you’re type changes or if you fall out of love.. what matters is when that happens, you need to understand when it’s time to let that relationship go and move on instead of being a crappy person and cheating or just playing around with someone.. love can be just as real at a a young age as it can be as you get older, the difference is how you love someone and how you treat them.. instead of telling someone they should “wait” until they’re older to be in a relationship, you should give them genuine advice about the right and wrongs in a relationship and how to treat someone properly.. if you fall in love, you can’t help that.. so why would you tell someone to put off those feelings.. also young relationships often teach you important lessons and someone can definitely learn from their past relationships when they were young, that end up helping them in the long run..
You are giving the worst advice ever. If you "play the field" until your late 20s ALL the good men will have been snatched up by smarter women. Enjoy the f*ck boys and men with kids from someone else at that time.
This is also why slut shaming is wrong. Women feel like they have to be in a relationship, or be shamed. When in reality, most girls aren't ready for a serious relationship and just want to fuck around. Us girls really aren't all that different from boys, yet society will try and make out that we are.
@@gallowglass3764 Yeah, but that needs to be something you WANT to do.. Nancy and Mike both have had trouble expressing romantic feelings, and honestly, I don't blame them considering their parents While it doesn't excuse their actions or the things that they've done, it does explain why they act the way they do
Like are you arguing Nancy really did love Steve when she hooked up with Jonathan at the first chance even telling him she would have taken him over Steve in S1? It has nothing to do with having trouble expressing her feelings.
@@sweetsummerchild8156 I'm saying that at one point she might have loved Steve, or at least thought she loved Steve, but quickly realized she wasn't in love with him But she couldn't even tell a white lie, aka, the words I love you
Whenever it comes to her relationship with Jonathan, the whole thing bugs me because he was taking pictures or her and Steve without permission and it was very much stalker vibes.
But Steve also coerced her into sex when she very much wasn't ready then "slut shamed" her around town. Not to mention after her best friend goes missing he shows no concern and Even tells her not to tell the cops about the alcohol because getting in trouble was more important to him. Even if he made up for it, she was scarred more by his treatment than what Johnathan did. And both of them admitted what they did was wrong which is better than a lot of normal men. Johnathan should not have done that, but El shouldn't have hit that bully, and Eddie shouldn't have tried to hit on Chrissy since she's a minor and he isn't, then taking her to his house in the middle of the night, Steve and Robin never should have gotten children involved in the Russia stuff, literally every single thing about Billy is gross, perverted and abusive. All of them do creepy, pervy things.
But it’s okay because him being a creep helped solve the mystery of the demigorgen lol i love how it’s never addressed that Jonathan was straight up stalking them and taking photos of them all in a pool lol
She sounds like a pretty normal person with complex emotions for me. She consistently rises to every challenge and has shown a lot of kindness to many of the characters on the show, especially Dustin at the end of the second season. While Steve was a genuine bully at the beginning of the show. But we like him because he changed. It’s okay for people to go through things, and make mistakes, and grow from things. You always blame Nancy, but why Steve is still pinning on her, it's not like she is forcing him to be her boyfriend again, love affair is from both sides 🤷♂️
Yeah, but we're not saying Steve isnt bad were just pointing out why Nancy is. I love them both, but this video isn't saying Steve is good. It's just saying Nancy is bad.
Steve isn't gonna cheat on anybody by being with Nancy. He isn't really the one to blame in that case. Nancy is the one who will break Jonathan's heart by doing that. Because she decided to cheat on him and chose someone else over him. Though I still don't like people who are hooking up with those who have a partner while knowing that. But imagine that Johnathan and Steve don't know eachother at all and that Nancy decided to cheat on him with Steve. Steve isn't gonna break his heart at all. He doesn't even know him in that situation so he can't possibly feel hurt because it was him, but Nancy will. In this case Steve can only make Johnathan more mad and insecure as he was already in a relationship with Nancy before it. It's not really personal because those two never got along and aren't friends, so Steve can't betray him, but I guess he can hurt him in some type a way. He can intensify his grief.
Nancy led Steve on by the end of season 1 and at the beginning of season 2. Nancy really liked Steve but she didn’t love him in season 1-2. Sure she can be bad at relationships but Steve wasn’t the perfect boyfriend - even he acknowledged this in the end of season 2. He kept dismissing Nancy’s guilt over Barb (due to their lives and families possibly being harmed; keep in mind Steve had daddy issues and his family knows nothing about the Upside Down) but Jonathan willingly helped her close the case. The thing is, these 3 aren’t perfect at all lol. There’s no need to pin the blame on Nancy and everyone should be mature enough to realize that.
@@damncarti8337 actually you sound like you want to tell her bad at any reason steve wasn one who humiliated her although she still come with Steve and he never left Jonathan how do you think so

I don't think she's a bad person, at all. She's making mistakes and doing her best like the rest of everyone else who is flawed and inherently human. But she put in WORK in season 4, did her part, and clearly just wants everyone to be okay.
She said she was waiting on him and would have dated him but moved on after a month. Meaning she and Steve took a break for a month and she wanted things to continue, she was aware of her feelings. She never said she was in denial.

the way nancy is written is very realistic. she’s been through a lot and clings to the person showing her the most love in the moment. she quickly befriends robin in s4 because robin was showing her a new source kindness. the same goes for steve and jonathan. you could attribute this to her lacking love from her parents and losing, barb, her best friend in season one.
Exactly
yeah i agree -- she has definitely done bad things, but she has also been through a lot of trauma and grief
And she couldn’t say I love you-
She didnt cheat on steve when she kissed Jonathan she already broks up with him
When you're a teen, relationships are confusing and messy.
If you don't understand that, my condolences.)
Also, if the roles were reversed and Steve was in Nancy's place, I would still feel the same.

You shouldn't forget that she doesn't freely got to see real love in that kind of way because her parents don't show much love to each other or say it so maybe it's just hard for her and mike also
Every main character has been through so much trauma, it's a miracle they can figure out how to have anything like a normal relationship tbh
So having no real example of love in your life does not mean you have the excuse to cheat on people or not treat them as they deserve
shes not the only one who has exposure to parental conflict in the show-
Right after that Steve asked her if she meant all of it and she did not deny it

To be fair, the "starts an argument" was when she was drunk. And she was having an emotional time because of what happened to Barb.
Bruh give her a break she’s a teenager 😂
i think it could have something to do with her family too. like mike struggles to say he loves el. i think it’s because they both witness how their mom n ted both don’t have so much of a good and healthy relationship. so they’re not the best with relationships.

There is a difference between having a hard time understanding romance and love than being a bad person.
A bad person is someone who does bad things to others. So if u have hard times understanding love then don't be in relationships. Don't play with the emotions of others and not expect to be called a bad person. Take some accountability for ur actions.

Having a hard time at understanding romance? There ain't no excuse for cheating don't try to justify it.
