I like Jonathan a lot. He is a very good guy, I think people like Steve more because he is more likable overall. But I don't get why we must choose between the two. Jonathan is the best brother ever, he is highly sensitive and empathetic, and he always helps his mother without questioning even though she always liked his brother more. He is precious, every girl would be lucky to be with a guy who's so caring. I value those traits a lot, and because of that, he has all my respect and affection as a character, even though he's not as cool and funny as Steve.
Ikr! Jonathan is such a good character! Ppl just remember that one time in s1 when he was being a total creep by taking her photo while she was naked (which I dont defend) but thats human! Everyone makes mistakes! But Steve has this amazing character development while the writers completely sidelined Jonathan's character as soon as Steve became the Fan Fav which I think is kinda unfait but that doesn't change the fact that he is a good character and you're right! We dont have to choose! Why not both??

I like Steve, all I'm saying is that I like Jonathan as well and I feel more connected with him in a personal level. I don't like that they made them eat each other's role in favour of the most popular. I know there's reasons why Steve is more popular, but Nancy-Steve rebound to me doesn't seem coherent to the plot.

Steve is more of a favourite mostly because of his character development, not just because of his attractiveness or likability.
