Hey Christina-Sorry for my delay. I have to be better about checking the comments. Does it feel hard to keep the arch in your lower back? If so try getting on all fours and trying to just arch and curl your lower back. Think less is more because the goal is to activate the spinal muscles in the back. Email me: megkoppele@gmail.com if you have any more questions.
Debbie Bond we show the exercise without the ball so don’t worry if you don’t have one. Focus more on gently moving to spine and keeping the hips active so you do not collapse forward.
So sorry for my delay, I just saw this comment! I often have my clients sit and hold the position to loosen the hips or prop up the butt. However, if it is unavailable try maybe sitting Indian style or in any comfortable position. Remember the key is MOVING as much as possible to avoid weakness. Email me at megkoppele@gmail.com if you have any other questions!!
I'm loving these exercises. Just the right speed, well explained. Thank you
