I’ve always loved those couches since seeing them in the movie , the owners should’ve definitely left it as is and made it into a tourist attraction 😍😍
You can easily get those couches for your house today. They make all kinds of fabulous couches like that for night clubs and strip clubs and stuff. You can try contacting different clubs and asking who supplies their couches and lounge chairs. And get the hookup. My cousin Rachel was a really successful stripper. She was hand picked by kid rock to be a cage girl for one of his tours. She knew all the owners of all the clubs in our home City as well as many in other major cities from Miami to Vegas. She always has a bad ass house or apartment and fabulous furniture including couches like these made for a club. Hers comes in pieces so she uses half the original in her apartment to save space But you can't tell it's only part of a larger piece and it looks kick ass in a half moon shape. It's in a deep emerald green with a dramatic high back. Then her coffee table is retro from the 1970s and is mirrored like ike and Tina's walls and ceilings that sort of distressed foggy mirror effect and it's got crystal edges and several rows of shelves from top to bottom. It comes in 5 pieces and makes a zig zag Chevron shape. She uses 3 and makes a single Chevron for the coffee table which then fits perfectly inside the half moon shape of the couch and the other 2 are used on opposite ends of the couch as end tables. But anyways I'm rambling now. But if you like these couches you can get them through clubs. Sometimes you can get good deals on pre used ones from a club that's in like new condition and get them cheaper than if you paid the supplier. Just a little fyi. A lot of club owners are more than happy to make a profit on stuff if they're replacing it with new stuff.
When I was in my late teens, we use to hang out with their sons occasionally in this home. This is when Ike was incarcerated. My friend went to college with one of them and they were good friends. When he told her that he was their son, she didn't believe him so he proved it by inviting us to his home. There were pictures of Ike and Tina in the living room. That bar area was set up like a mini recording room just like it was in the movie. Little did we know how significant this home was. I wish we had taken some pictures!!!

That “felty” velvet burnout wallpaper was *very* popular in the 60s and 70s. Lots of people had it. Sometimes the paper background was a metallic gold or silver, as reflective wallpaper was very chic at the time. The velvet, however, was usually in some shade of red.
