    I used to live near Overhill and northridge on Onacrest Dr. right up the street from cvs and down the street from Ray Charles in Windsor hills! I went to Windsor hills elementary! Ohhh snap! I didn’t know they had a “Harold’s Chicken” at Fox Hills Mall that’s a Chicago Franchise where I currently live.

      Hey @TheMuirite, happy to hear you love the community of view Park. There's a lot of mixed reviews in the neighborhood about the schools. I did not cover the schools in this video. Here is a list of schools in the View Park area --> drive.google.com/file/d/1Si-8TVdZSDG19FYxq1BMWajeeFh-uf2e/view?usp=sharing

    Beverly Hills is Beverly Hills, and View Park-Windsor Hills is View Park-Windsor Hills. There is no black Beverly Hills. These communities can stand on their own identity.

      They do stand on there own identity. But you are wrong to say that these neighborhoods have not been referred to as the black Beverly Hills. I get it, some people don’t like that term for whatever reason. You’re obviously one of those people. Please be sure to reach out if you have any questions about Real Estate in the View Park - Windsor Hills neighborhoods. 😀

      @@Living_in_LosAngeles I didn't say they are not referred to as the Black Beverly Hills, but I did imply that the inferrance is silly. Besides they have more resemblance to Brentwood and Pacific Palisades.

      Yeah, people who don’t have an understanding of the historical background think that the reference of The Black Beverly Hills is silly. It’s all good though, you’re entitled to your opinion. That’s the beauty of our awesome city of Los Angeles, it’s full of diverse perspectives.

      @Living_in_LosAngeles I was born in general Hospital 1971 and grew up in Watts, my aunt lived in Baldwin Hills. I understand when the City of Los Angeles annexed every neighborhood, including the Harbor, and 90% of the San Fernando Valley. I understand that Black people use to couldn't even live over there.
      I'm just not a fan of Overcompensating by Overemphasizing blackness. It makes it seem as if we are foreigners.

    How is the area for singles and couples who do not have children? Is there a Black LGBT+ presence there as well?

    • @Living_in_LosAngeles
      @Living_in_LosAngeles  3 месяца назад

      It’s a great community for single folks and folks that don’t have kids. Me and my wife have been married for 19 years. But we do not have children. There’s still lots of fun things to do. There is absolutely a black LGTB+ community. Los Angeles is, a great place to explore everything. If you move out here, I’ll connect you with people that can tap you in those communities.

      View Park-Windsor Hills, and Ladera Heights are the highest income majority black communities in the US which is by definition, affluent.
