It's like time stood still. When Tina left, she left and never looked back. She took nothing but her name and started fresh. What Ike tried to keep from her is now all left behind including the house....None of it matters anymore.
Slow down your cam! No one can see a damn thing because as soon as we try to focus you've already moved! I am so dizzy from your running around. And just turn off the damn oven!
She probably wanted to get out of therd
🤣🤣
Right! 😩
I'm pretty sure it doesn't even work, so no major.
All i can think about poor Tina’s pain that she went through there.
Thank God she is still alive.
...somehow... *this* make me wanna see the movie again.
This home should be declared a *landmark* ... marvel at how [they] just re-sell homes that *legends* lived in. Huh?
LMAOINMEMPHIS lol this was her actual house 🏡 Ike sold to someone as is and they have passed that’s why it is now sold and remodeled
Tina is a legend , ike was evil
Yeah, I don't think anyone would want to remember being assaulted and raped there numerous times...
If those walls could talk.
Gutt it and run or bulldoze it which one?
thick sassy RIGHT‼️ so much pain in that house
Did you actually watch the full video?? There are pictures of Tina in the house. They actually lived there
@@ceplus3272 I actually did...I said "if those walls could talk". Im sure you are a young adult. But its a saying for older people. Meaning....if those walls could talk it would tell all of the stories and secrets that happened within those wall of that house.
Does my statement makes sense now? I hope I cleared that up for you.
@@pinklove7593 I think "CePlus3" was replying to the one immediately above his/her comment "LMAOINMEMPHIS" who claimed "this was a movie house not Ikes actual house". Too bad Ike took to drugs and treated Tina so badly. He, apparently, was totally against drugs early in his career; although quite a womanizer. BUT Tina survived and became an international star; incredible lady and performer. Nobody could perform the way she did in her final tour at 69!!!
If they were smart, they would restore it and make it into Museum or some kind of tourist attraction.
Exactly!
ok soo they that like they did that house in jackson where medger evers was killed
And here’s the room that Ike beat Tina to a pulp in! And there’s the bedroom Ike raped Tina in...Thanks for visiting Ike and Tina’s lair of domestic violence
@@paisleyprincess7996 that’s exactly what I was thinking
The original phone! Mama I'm about to come over don't till Ike . Ike and Tina Turner wow
Edith Phillips Right! I feel the pain brought to her in that place...damn
I was thinking the same thing when I seen the phone..."Ike bought u a house" And her ass turned right around & told Ike🤦🏾♀️
I have the phone from the kitchen just imagine those conversations ,I was born and raised on bradna dr . right down the street from this historical house
Can't believe they gutted this HISTORIC house!! They should BE made this house a TOUR HOME for all Tina Turner fans to see!!😕
I feel like instead of buying what not save it have it turned in a history sigh
Jeptau BonHomme
Th is a lot of a few months ago but
If I could have bought it I'd have kept everything the exact same furniture and all.
DJMookieJukebox Right... they could give tours and point out things like “this is where ike beat the shit out of tina” and “this is where ike pistol whipped tina” and “this is where ike chased tina with a loaded handgun threatening to kill her” sounds like an awesome tour. Smh. They should burn that shithole to the ground.
How about slowing down and actually show us the rooms instead of whipping from left to right and rushing through it. You were going too fast and couldn't see a dam thing because you were going back and forth too dam fast.
I know right
The agent seemed scared for some reason, she should have cut the oven off
So interesting that it is like a time capsule. Fascinating. But Girl, That camera movement. I came close to throwing up. I got very dizzy watching this. Glad you Have a calming voice.
I think you should turn that Broiler off that makes sense to me
Hello Cathy! Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately Im no repairman and the stove was malfunctioning.
@@sunnyjones400 Oh ok. LoL I was like so you're scared to open the fridge, but your about to blow up ma. LoL 😘
Exactly
I wonder if Tina has watched this video. So glad Tina got away from Ike. I feel he would have murdered her eventually.
She would never want to be reminded of that Nightmare of a house she lived in. So no she would Not watch this.
I don’t know what makes me feel worse, the fast camera movements or the new renovations.
I think it would have been interesting to know the history of ownership. Both Ike & Tina have been gone for years. When did they purchase it? How long did they live together here? When did they both leave? How is it that this house still has original furnishings especially the bedroom set? Did someone inherit it that was a relative and kept it? These are burning questions I have! 😊
Ike sold the house completely furnished and the new owner did little to change it. I recall hearing the only change was the sofas were recovered, they were red velvet originally. What we see in this video is a later 60's remodel.
I don't see why it so important .the woman lived through her darkest days living there .I'm almost sure she would not want to be reminded of it .I think it's disrespect.to her.
Thank god they made the film before they ripped it all out and made it into a boring bland characterless house.
Apparently Tina must of owned the house in order for the movie to be shot there
@@IWeasel The people that owned it after Ike and Tina was a fan and kept the house exactly as it was and let them film in it, it has now gone and completely remodeled
Thanks for sharing ...it's like opening a volt...love tina turner. I wish her well !!🌼
Woo I have to put this on slow mode. Her turning the camera so fast is making me dizzy. Ok so now I know what my subscribers be talking about when I do it. You don't really notice it while you're doing it, only when you watch it back. I think I've gotten better tho to slow the camera down when I am showing things. Lol.
Imagine all the coke that fell on those couches.
Erica Crawford 😂
I was picturing everyone passing out on the sofas.
I just watched a video where some people where taking some "pieces and things that were left there by Tina and Ike" of the house , I guess before renovations... not sure. It was pretty cool video to see but wondered how they were able to take those items and how were they still there. They were really lucky!
I believe I just seen the same video.
It was after the house was mostly gutted.
Yessss ! I’ve seen that video how lucky were they to find a check signed by her sister Alliene
This makes me sad to know this house has been completely gutted since this video has been taken. 1 million is a drop in the bucket for an investor, and even another million for improvements and rehab. So sad.
What a treat to be able to see this.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing...i love those sofa's.
The house has sad energy
who wanna buy me this home with all the orginal errrything inside.
You move the camera to fast!
What a moment in time!
Yes
It great that you got this on film , it's all gone and people will need this as a record, worth it's weight in gold
Wow i got the chills looking at this video just remembering the movie about her. Ughh as much it is nice it gives such a creepy ugly sad and angry feeling remembering those horrible scenes of violence he did to her in that house... ewww why would someone want to buy that house?????😤😔.. oh well i guess if the buyer likes that kind of stuff smh
Whoever got it, ruined it. Could've done so much better than what it turned out to be after ripping everything out.
They could have done tours, I know of 1 guy that manager to get some of the bedroom wallpaper and tour mail out envelopes and stuff even some tile off the fire pit when he went to the house while they where gutting it
They should have keep the original concept . Just restored everything to its former glory. The ruined it I totally agree.
I agree with this comment & every reply
@@idaslpdhr He posted a Video on RUclips
@@idaslpdhr yes that was daze with Jordan the lion.
I would leave it as is...... Love the Vibe
I wonder what happened to the furniture. It could've been refurbished and sold.
Jane Doe check out Daze and Jordan the lion so you can see the after math they destroy the inside
Never knew the movie was filmed there....can’t believe the furniture was left there and if someone else lived there after them that means they used the furniture too ?? It’s one of my favorite movies though.
What is the name of the movie? I would love to see it now after seeing this house.
@@RG-hf4et
What's Love Got to Do with It? Yo, I saw the film in Vegas before it dropped nationwide. Packed house at the 7p.m. showing, which only added to the claustrophobia and dread of the film.
R G what’s love got to do with it
How on earth can you say this is one of your favorite movies knowing this movie was a true story
@@IWeasel She said it was "one of her favorites"......One of mine, too......The movie was so realistic is what makes it "a favorite".....Tina worked along Angela B with dance moves, it was all of Tina's singing, they used her own house which was AMAZING to be able to use it in the film, the pool area was Tina's, so much of it was REAL, unlike other biographies. The abuse from Ike was horrifying, but they krpt it real....I keep remembering the scene where Ike drags her doen the hallway screaming at her with a houseful of guests.....Breaks my heart just thinking about that scene......And in the end Tina rises above it all and shines.
The "spooky" feeling is your 7th sense picking up all that negative energy, bad juju...you feel me? That house needs a serious cleansing.
I thought the same thing! All the beatings & abuse.....
*Cedar* & *Sage* among other key items to burn.
Such a damn shame they sold and refurbished this home , it was a piece of history which ike & Tina turner and family lived in for many years , it should've been made into a museum for tourists .
Today is August 11th 2017, and it makes no sense to 'contact the agent' to turn the oven off Missy, use what are called FINGERS and turn it off yourself! This child must be a young realtor.....
Hello Mr. Burris. The stove wasn't functioning properly. The agent said it could not be turned off when I contacted him. I like to think of myself as young, so thanks. My 4 boys would disagree. Have yourself a good day!
Ha! Thanks :)
Myles Burris was that nasty attitude necessary?
Myles Burris, why don't you do it? Common sense should tell you that since it's so old, something must be wrong with it. No need to be disrespectful. She must be a seasoned agent for someone to trust her with the keys to a million dollar home
@@sunnyjones400 I'm so glad that you commented with such class and professionalism.
😮 amazing iconic Tina Turner rest in peace from Johannesburg South Africa 🇿🇦
Why would anyone destroy all of that? Loved the couches.
you should have taken your time, i got motion sickness watching this,,,
I would love to see who buys this house and update it id never seen a fridge like that
Turning the recorder way to fast!!
The house looks haunted , very spooky and dark
Mapule Sefara I’m sure there’s some bad spirits in there.
@mapulesefara1090, I wonder if this house is truly haunted and if there is a bad entity left behind from all the violence that went on there. 🧐🤔
A million dollar home with a million dollars worth of repairs.😕
2 million dollars is nothing for an investor.
That garage is where Tina kept her Jaguars. If anyone saw the documentary 'Ike and Tina On the Road' part of it was filmed inside this house. Her kids were really young then and hanging out by the pool and in the living room. I think it was filmed in 1971.
That house is dark and depressing just like Tina's life back then Ike Turner was a mean man
Oh wow! I live in Baldwin Hills/View Park!!! I never known that Ms Tina once was a resident!
My Name Believe they stayed in two houses. That one looks like a ranch, and the one pointed out to me at the time, was a much larger home that looked like a Castle on the outside. Lived in the area 1970's. It was a white stucco home.Lived two streets over. Nancy Wilson lived in the area too.
Yes they bought the house and all the furnishings in it directly from Ike everything is the same except they got the couches reupholstered in a different fabric
@@lindac2850 from heart?
I've just seen a video of this place sold and refurbished. I had mixed feelings about it being changed.
Margaret Davies should of kept it retro
Where is the video? I’d love to see what they did with the place. I’m sure it needed a lot of work.
Inside a Rockstar Home - Daze & Jordan .... Pretty fascinating but upsetting too.
Did anyone else get dizzy trying to focus.....
So y didn't there home go to one of there kids 😳 hmm
When she says at 5.24 " anyone wanna take a dip ? " , someone at 5.25 says " yeah " .... I freaked out when i heard it .😬
Too many ghosts in that house. Seeing the house left in that time-capsule state gave me a chill. Her life might have seemed glamorous, but that was not a period of utopia.
Wow ! That’s amazing to look at , it’s like time stood still , 👍👍👍 Thank You 😊
Wow that was really her home and they did the movie there ??
fayfay Mck it does look like the house in the movie too!!
Yes it’s really her home and they filmed the move there
You move the camera too fast
Can't believe they gutted it. Would've been so sick if they just updated some stuff but kept it in the original era. Man that would've been tight
it as old
She said "it feels....normally" girl didn't nobody die in there lol tf
The Turner house of hell 🔥
Wow!! I dont know how I got here..
THANK YOU FOR SHARING 💙
the Turners sold the house, and the new owner lived there many years, and it is remarkable the house was all original until it was resold and then demoed ..... what a shame
Totally skipped the indoor fountain... Why?
Its like I'm looking at the movie
That's not it's "original state." Place was built in the 1950s. Ike updated the whole place when she was in the hospital for TB. That was 1964, ish. The decor is all 60s. Come on. Lol
Needs to be a museum.. So cool
I feel the same way. However, I doubt Tina would have wanted the house where she received regular extreme brutality to be part of her legacy.
I wonder what the square footage is on this home 🤔..the furniture choices also makes it seem cluttered imo..TFS!!
Thanks for taking your time and doing this video. Love Tina Turner. Sorry that Tina went thur so many beating. I bet Ike regretting the way he treating her, after she left his dum ass. He lost his paycheck. But Tina has a good life now!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!!
PART ONE thanks for the video, love your jingle :) and only a million dollars !!!!!!! wow !!!! thought it would be more . Tina tuner home as it was gutted as i first watch a video called............INSIDE A FAMOUS ROCK STAR HOME Before It's Stripped! Tina Turner .....u see the state from the video and it a shame specially seeing your video that new owners stripped it from the vintage beauty you see here, regardless of it being Tina turner home
I can't believe this home has been abandoned all these years.
Why was it abandoned?
Damn that was the house in the movie wow
I'm pretty sure that Ike and Tina bought that house in the early Sixties and then Tina had enough and left in the early Seventies.
The house "felt spooky" because of all the bad juju that's attached to it... But it is a neat house, nontheless.
Anyhow... The house has since been completely gutted-out and somehow renovated.
I always wondered if whoever owns it now has had to have a Healer come over and chase the weird energy out of it?
All that abuse and fighting and drug use in that house brings bad energy . To any home
PART TWO i think in the USA and in Canada were i live people treat old vintage homes like it a disease and they got to get rid of the inside because....eeewwww it dated or tear it down like my example of a nice one of a kind 1957 home i happen to cross paths as i never saw anything like it before it was different and a work art it was clearly beautiful, i fell in love when i saw and dream of owning it but one day someone bought it gutted the inside, at first i thought that was the only thing they were going to do, and when i didn't see the 1957 home for a good while i decided to pass it one day to see was was going on with the house and to my shock it was torn down, i felt like somebody pUNch me in the gut because of a home i love so much, a real shame when u see people do these things
Because removing lead and asbestos isn't cheap. Plus, you need major updates.
I really enjoyed your video! Thank you for taking the time to make it. I also appreciate the graceful way you deal with the grumpy posters here. 😬
Thanks :) What a nice comment! Im learning there are a lot of grumpy people and I only do positive vibes! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sunny Jones thanks for the video I bet it was amazing, as of today 2018 what’s up with the house now do you have any idea? Like the bed and things what happen to those items aswell
@@sunnyjones400 Interesting visit for a French Ike and Tina fan.
What a journey back in the day! I was in my teens back then.
Thanks Sunny!
It seems to me that a million was rather a reasonable price, wasn't it?
Beautiful home even for today, however would have appreciated if you didn’t shake the cámara so much…. But then again, it’s Tina’s former home our hands will be shaking too if we were filming.
ok im sea sick after trying to watch this video......
Nossa Tinoca ✋ minha casa de 3 comodos te ❤ minha queridona 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
I think they filmed the movie in there as well. That is one ugly house tho. You need another $800, 000 to redo it....that's not even worth restoring back to the original look because it's just too tacky, the 70s was the worst era for anything style wise. That's why one should never decorate your home in fad era, go classic, I love that refrigerator though, it's my dream come true. I never knew that existed, to have them like cabinetry. I'm surprised that's not more popular as an alternative to having to bend over 2ft to look in a traditional refrigerator.
Should have restored it smh . Hate what they did to her beautiful ideas and style . Aquarium and rain forest was beyond ICONIC
I have no idea why the flipper or the people who bought it from Ike didn't sell stuff from inside.
I would.have loved to have bought the glass curtains from the kitchen. I would have paid over a thousand or so for them
How you going to say you don't like Ike do you know him??? do you know if Tina Turner was telling all the truth??? because if you did your research you would know she was not telling the whole honest truth and she was just as bad or even worse then he could have ever been that's why it's best you tell your story first because when people tell your story especially Hollywood stories they don't give you the justice that you would be do not at All and that's what killed Mr Ike Turner when she portrayed him to be the bad person he was not that's why I don't care for Tina Turner anymore love her music but I don't like how she lies and don't go back and correct anything she knew wasn't the truth, Hollywood gots to make somebody the scapegoat that's what sells movies the bad guy and the good lady that turned her life around wanting someone to feel sorry for her when she know half of what she told was not true don't like people like her she should have told the story as fictional . Not just out and out lie until the world hated him and turned against him he made her country bama ass
Honestly, i dont think i could live there unless it was gutted and made brand new. All of the violence that tina lived through and that those kids witnessed...
Man too much bad juju in there. Watching this video gave me chills.
"Is that a bullet hole?" - not exactly a selling point. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
who would spend million dollars for that they,d more soo spend million dollars too have that renovated and upraded and fixed up
So was the house used in the movie?
yes it was!
Am sure it is spooky, lots of bad energy and TERRIABLE things happened there to Tina, poor thing so glad she made it to the top and that loser lost everything hope he suffered
It would've been nice if you didn't move the camera so fast, hard to see and appreciate what you want ppl to see. Ty
Thanks for showing this house in it’s original state but seeing that bed makes me sad 😢 because Ike use to beat Tina so bad and then forced her to have sex automatically after he beat her couldn’t imagine the horror and the blood and tears she cried many many nights in that bed and all throughout that house
Stop trying to make this seem as if the house is hunted 🤦🏾♀️ It's a nice house. Iconic!!
I think you mean "haunted."
I think we all know this house is iconic and historical but I think they don’t think it’s haunted moreover the negative portrayal this house has, the arguments, fights, that Ike and Tina had there. All the parties, sex and drugs went on in that house with the fights and craziness, I think that’s why they are all surprise haha
Many years ago, while still in my teens, I visited this house while Ike and Tina lived there. The movie brought it all back. I often wondered what happened to it. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity.
@ Rue- Thais how come you could visit this house at that time, if I may ask?
@@hellochannel6344 they were probably friends with the children or something
@@OK-0366 yes, maybe. Who knows.
Beautiful bedroom but indured so much pain
Why was this home left in its original state for so long ? I mean now it’s been re done but I wonder why it was left in its original state for so long before somebody finally bought it ?
🎤Nutbush city limit..🎼🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵🎬
That bed looks hard and uncomfortable shape , a couldn't sleep in it 😒
Nothing but nightmares...it still looks dark inside
Yea it does feel like someone was murdered in it or something. Lol maybe because they had so many demons in it.
Please stop moving your camera so fast it's making me dizzy
Recording sucks 🤦🏽♀️
Girl don't record shit no mo.....this was some goofy ass recording right here
Wow a walk through time, I wished everything was left the way it was when they moved out.
Whoever lived in this house after them did not keep this house up.
Whitney Fan47 no one lived there after Tina🤦🏽♀️ that’s why all of her furniture is still where it was left lot of bad times for her in that place it was best just take clothes like she did💆🏽♀️
Love it! I wouldn't change a thing. Love those 60s-70s plastic window shades. And that bed.
I probably restore it back to what was in the movie when they originally owned it
