+Cow man I love the imagery that we get with the Abyss Watchers. Tied together by the Old Wolfs Blood, sworn to find the things that crawl from the Abyss and stamp it out before it spreads, now they themselves have been infected and constantly war with each other in a last ditch effort hold back the Darkness engulfing them. The boss fight was easy, sure, but it was also the coolest, and the most fun I've had in a souls game.

In my experience most of the metal covers I've heard of other songs tend to overdo distortion while sarcificing the melody, but I like this take!

its funny how you can see how much Metal is influenced by Classical practices. This was composed by a man who writes romantic soundtracks for a very dark and depressingly themed game and you can just hear where all of the Metal influenced come from when it comes to writing.
And come to think of it you'd be fucking great at creating a post-rock soundscape, this shit was the tits.
