My hp turns to 0
Two nothings who've clawed their way forth, from the very bottom, to the very top.
Two wastes of space who've put everything on the line to reach their goal and final destination.
Two undeads, one a slave, one unfit even to be cinders, locked in battle over what little remains of the Dark Soul.
Two knights, at the end of the world, with no-one there but themselves to witness their glorious clash.
Truly, this was an appropriate ending. A final battle embodying the true spirit of Dark Souls.
In the end, the reward was fulfilling the wish of the last innocent being in that broken, forsaken world.
After an eternity of emptiness and suffering, the very last warmth comes not from fire, but from an act of kindness.
And for this last whisper of warmth, two nobodies fight over "nothing" in the middle of nowhere, to the death.
What an AMAZING game... No other game can make you feel like Dark Souls. Miyazaki my hats off to you you mastered the thing called "video game" and your legacy will never die.

Iundex Gundyr is my fav, loved the first part of the fight against Gael, but even if the second is even more epic, it loses the feeling of an honest dual between two warriors, as magic enters in action.

The first phase of the fight is more like you trying to put down a mad, bloodlust-filled beast that just so happens to be using a sword.
The second phase is Gael properly, utilizing his full strength as a warrior.
The third phase is just ridiculous and flashy, and I love it, but that part I'll agree with you ruining the whole "honest duel" part.
Of course you're right, but that's what I don't like with Gael, and what I love with Gundyr, but I was probably not really clear.
A song with the indomitable strength and spirit of Uncle Gael himself.

My favorite part is 4:55 cause that's when the replay button shows up.
Phase 3 always gives me the shivers in game and this definitely meets that standard. Solid 5/5 song.

When I saw you had covered this, even though I had watched a bunch of your other covers of stuff was not disappointed, not one bit, but I still had a very high expectation for this one. And well you knocked it out of the park. Gael is my favorite fight in the entirety of the souls/borne series, and he has my favorite music of all the souls/borne series too. Great job man.

Holy moly this is amazing. Dark Souls 3 is the only game i've managed to finish and yet i mostly didn't notice the music in the background apart from Soul Of Cinder but when you put the music alone, it really speaks for the quality of the games. I haven't listened to Gael's theme before this but this one of my favourite covers from you.
