@@deusvultpictures6550 In style and atmosphere indeed, but the fact he's calibrated to be fought by a team and he's a mid-game boss put him behind Gael in terms of mechanics. Malenia's first phase has a great fighting beauty, but Gael is still my favorite indeed.

I know I'm a bit late but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!! it adds a few new things to it and usually that overtunes the melody but I think you found a balance to enhance it instead! Second phase was my favourite, insane job❤❤
Considering the base game of Elden ring wasn’t even on par with the prior souls games in terms of boss quality I doubt it Edit: I was half right. Messmer is easily a top 5 souls bosses of all time but only at number 5. Bayle was an awesome S tier fight and Dancing Lion,Scadutree Avatar,Romina and Rellana were all easy A tier fights. Everything else though was disappointing or poorly designed
I suffer from nostalgia and still gotta say this one is even better. I would even say you couldnt put it into the game because its too hard, it would dominate the whole design

Here I used 8Dio Anthology Strings. Spitfire strings are nice, but I've found them to be a bit too soft for epic sounds. 8Dio ones have a better sounding close mic position imo.
@@TristanGray i agree i use personally metropolis ark to make the background strings, but i will check out these string that's picked my interest, thanks ! all that to say; your orchestration is great, and the texture are fantastique, just the mix is really mudy (too much harmonics and all on the midrange) and the brass is taking so much place wee can barely ear the rest of the orchestra and that's sad :'(, but i really liked the ambiance posed at the start of the song. hope you will get other similar idea, and i'm also open if you want to discuss music or even make a colab together.

This is okay but all the instruments seem to kinda melt together into a blob of noise at points. Hard to distinguish individual melodies especially with that deep percussion rumbling
