If you get codes about Ox.sensors running rich replace the MAP sensor. If you get vacuum to the EGR at idle, replace the charcoal canister purge valve.
When troubleshooting codes, tend to the most troublesome code first. Sometimes replacing a TPS can eliminate codes about Ox. sensors and other codes. Make sure to push the throttle full-throttle or else it'll throw TPS codes or others. Check the radiator first. A low radiator can cause hard starting and codes about the CTS.
thanks for posting up the codes. is this a common problem with aftermarket ecms.1994 ford f150 4.9 manual trans. I had the original ecm burn up and lost fuel pump. i gave all the numbers and specs to the parts store. The truck runs no cel. today for the hell of it I dug out my old otc 4000. It will do koeo flash check engine light, will not do a koeo test. came up with a bunch of auto trans codes ? all fuses relays test good. after getting the no com message twice.I licked pathfinder. It said even though your vehicle will run you possibly have the wrong ecm. I am at a loss here. passed smog with flying colors last week.
I have an '89' F-150, OBD1 system.. When I perform a self-check diagnostic, I receive 2 digit codes. It's my understanding that OBD1 systems have 2 digit codes, while OBD2 systems have 3 digit codes. Your slide show contains only 3 digit codes. Am I missing something, or have you accidentally posted a slide show for OBD2 systems?
@@foxandres6215 I saw you're question about code 141, I searched www.Taurusclub.com , I couldn't find that particular code?, I found code 139 through 144 codes. Could you possibly have misread the flashes? Try this Ford Taurus club, I'm a new Diy'er myself, hope this helps you Felipe 👍 God bless you. ( these codes for obd 1 Taurus vehicles)
There is alot of bad info in these comments regarding OBD1 not including 3 digit codes. There are infact 2 AND 3 digit ODB1 codes.
