I've never heard her before this, but I'll definitely have to check out more. She's already got great tone, so deep and rich for her age. Man, after this girl goes through puberty and her voice fills out and thickens up, she's gonna be an absolute beast. Probably one of the GOATs.

anthony You've obviously been duped by this guy. He never promotes the artist, only himself. Never provides links to the original video. He does what he does to get views. Doesn't interact with his fan base---have you read one of his comments? That's because he doesn't reply. Ever. And I'm willing to bet he was forced to close down his other channel, which had a lot of subs, because of some sleazy practices. Just my speculation. Now I see he's simply re-cycling old videos he's already reacted to on his other channel, but trying to pretend that this is his first viewing.

I apologize to all those that follow Angelina's "Spell on You" reactions, but I have tirelessly played this video maybe a couple hundred times and am still dumbfounded by the performance and delighted by the shocked reactors. I cut and paste this following reply all the time now because it gets tiring typing it out so often .... so, again, I apologize, but it must be done:
Angelina wrote an incredibly emotional song called "Million Miles" in memory of her beloved grandfather who had just passed away (at that time). She was 13/14 years old. She recorded it later as her first single for her new label, Republic Records.
Do a reaction to the black and white live studio version. It is one of three companion videos. The others are the actual official Republic video music release and a lyrics version. I highly recommend doing a reaction to the lyrics version second. It is the same recording as the official version but has graphics done by her grandmother, a noteworthy Iranian artist. With these videos, she has produced a quite stunning beginning of her career with Republic. Also, the pianist in the live studio video is a very high up Republic executive.
Angelina commented that when she was in the studio doing the song she cried throughout the session. You can hear and see the pain she feels for her loss when you watch the live studio set. She said she wanted the song to be for anyone that had such a loss. With consideration to that background to her song, you will get as emotional as she was when she recorded it. She has this magical vocal power that draws you into this other dimension.
She has always put her soul and emotions into her works. She arranges most all her music, as she has been doing since she began performing over the past ten plus years.

I'm glad you liked it and were pretty much amazed by it........but you didn't finish it! If reactors want us to watch their reactions all the way to the end for their so-called algorithms, then reactors should watch the artist's videos all the way to the end for the artist's algorithms -- and just out of sheer plain respect for the artist. That's only logical and fair!
She has been releasing these songs for 10 years and has influenced other artists. Her use of mike will have been noticed. She is more known inside the industry than out.
I’m constantly hearing covers of the songs she’s covered in commercials, at the grocery store, and other places where music is piped into the public. It’s like she breathed new life into them.

New content in this reaction MR.L. Love it--the whole piece about the mike. I never tire of hearing this. There's a video of her in rehearsal for "Portrait of a Man" also by "Screaming" Jay Hawkins. And I have to ask myself about how a 9 year old has the empathy to connect with such songs. It is like she understands the emotions the musicality conveys and she tries to do the same---not to mimic, but rather to achieve it.

She has not as you put it “busted through” as her immediate family have wanted her to have a childhood and as such refused to let her be exploited by the music industry.
I believe she is now contracted to Republic Records and her work will be released after her schooling is finished.

I adore her and almost everything she does. She can do Billy Holiday to James Brown to Adele. She hits every genre remarkably, so you can’t go wrong with any video. My latest favorite is, “I’m a Fool to Want You”, the studio video recording by a fan apparently. She knocks it out in the studio in one shot, and her excitement when she know she hits a line perfectly is adorable. In the video, she is communicating with someone behind the camera person and looking for acceptance. The person happens to be her Grandmother. I believe, she was around 11 in the video. @@103mrg Quite early after he appeared on the scene, I asked him to post links to the video he was featuring and to Angelina's RUclips and Social Media channels. He replied that he didn't .do so, as nobody read them. I seem to remember that I then replied, why then did he post links to his many activities. The silence was deafening. 🙂

I agree. It's the same reaction. I remember he cut the song short so the last notes were/are missing. Is he in a hurry or what? I don't like a) that he does't bother listen to the whole song b) that he serves us the same reaction some time after the first one (without saying it...).
