@salvador andeme Problem is that Bing is owned by Microsoft, the same company who sold you Windows. Obviously they want to push their own search engine. If you followed this video, it should now search using Google.
Mine didn't work at all, I try to change my search in all ways I could find on the internet and none of them work. Why are they forcing me to use yahoo? I don't like it, why can't I choose the one I like? More important, why is yahoo or Bing doing as main web search in most computers? why can't they leave it empty so that we can be the ones to choose which search engine we want to us? This is mad, I am going crazy trying to change Yahoo! to google and COMPANIES FORSING USERS TO USE WTV THEY WANT THEM TO USE..I DON'T LIKE YAHOO OR ANY OTHER SEARCH, GIVE ME BACK GOOGLE... I AM DONE WITH THIS, I AM SWITCHING BACK TO WINDOWS 8 DAMN IT.
+htcinterface Chrometana is a Google Chrome extension, so it is dependant on your using Chrome as your browser. If you use another browser by default, it won't use the extension and you will again be relegated to Bing. Supposedly, though, Firefox already has a built in search redirect feature. You simply need to make Firefox the default browser and then set the default search engine inside of Firefox's settings. I hear you. I pretty much completely stopped using coretana the moment they pushed out that change. Nothing like monopolizing so hard you chase your customers away. Smart move M$ (sarchasm)
The sad thing is 80% of the people using Windows 10 don't even notice/care. It's a psychological fact that about 80% of people will not change what it comes with, sadly. And M$ pushed it even further so to last 20% can't change it. The fact that the US anti-trust laws aren't red-flagging concerns me.
Also the fact that M$ Windows owns 90% of the PC market for more than a decade and the US anti-trust laws haven't taken any action yet really concerns me. OS's like Linux, which are better than Windows, have been overshadowed by M$ monopolistic practices for more than a decade and a half.
They added the update into the current ISO's, so it only works if you installed from an old ISO or updated early and kept updates off. Besides Win 10 will force updates on you whether you like it or not.

My search still opens edge even though Google Chrome is my default.
Yeah, it looks like in an update M$ killed the option to have Coretana use any other browser than edge.
