Thanks for watching!
Hi folks, might be worth mentioning, at Skipness, one mile from the Cloanaig ferry there is the dramatic Skipness Castle and also the excellent seafood cabin nearby. Lovely crab. Both worthy of a wee stop as you're passing. Have a good one 👍 Duncan
Thanks for the tip!
Walking along the Crinan canal is excellent 👌
I enjoyed the ride, wish I'd gone further.
My husband and I often watch your shows. We are from the US and we enjoy all the places that you go
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoy.
Brings back happy memories. We had a static van at, what was called, Battlefield Caravan Park (because the troops trained there in WW2) from mid 1970's until 1991, when it was swept away by the sea in a fierce winter storm. The site was great, very relaxed and friendly, everyone knew each other. We put down a mooring for our 30ft yacht, free of charge, as did lots of people. The little Bar was lovely and lots of parties after closing time. My Dad spent his last 10 years in Inveraray and is buried there. Must get back soon and put some flowers on his grave. Looking forward to your next instalment. Take care.
Glad to bring back some happy memories.
Absolutely priceless! I love waiting for you two to vlog. Lovely scenery and great humour. I took my late son and his brother to Inveraray Jail many years ago when they were little. Looking forward to the next instalment!! Hope it stops raining!
Rain or shine they make great informative videos. I am sorry to hear about your son. ✝️
Thank you very much
Excellent vlog. Finding these little places is what we love about touring. At least you had somewhere to turn at the end of the road. Hope you found the campsite 😃🚐💙 Trev
Yes, that car park was very handy, and yes we did find the campsite. 😊👍
I can see Mr Sat nav and Mrs Sat nav having a falling out! So enjoying this Bob and Jenny.Safe travels.
We did the same thing and drove past the entrance last November. Just drove right around the roundabout and then back to the entrance. Had a lovely stay there before going to Macrahanish. Don't forget to visit Kilmartin and the standing stones and burial chambers. Well worth a visit.
We did today
3:58 Glad to see the kirkyard, My dad's aunt is buried there and the stone is easily visible just to the right. There have been times when it's been overgrown and neglected.
Such a peaceful place there.
We will enjoy watching this trip, great video Bob.
Thanks 👍
Thank you for sharing the trip. You keep things real.😁
Thank you.
Hi Bob and Jenny another fabulous video and really enjoyed seeing the scenery reminded me of many happy holidays in Scotland including when we went to invarary and around loch fyne loch long and gairloch
You went through some wonderful spots and loved that town which reminded me of invarary a lot
Sat nav’s can be great and we have found some amazing spots with the sometimes strange routes they give you but did feel sorry for you both when it took you around that estate glad that you were able to find somewhere to turn round!
We have the same when reception or cloud cover affects the gps or if the POI has been put in wrong
All the best to you both Daniel
Yes, we've had a couple of glitches with the built in sat nav.
Ooops these satnavs like to test us every now & then ☺️ Hope the weather cheers up for you. Em 💜
Weather is brilliant at the moment
Hi folks, hopefully you managed to spot an Osprey or two at nearby St Fillans. A beautiful part of the world. Great that you're coming to where we live on the Isle of Arran. It's an incredible island for so much varied wildlife. The shore at your campsite will be a good place to spot otters. The largest seal colony is at the other end of the front passed the 'waymarked' dinosaur footprint post. Don't miss out on a wee trip into Glen Rosa. Raw beauty at its best and a 50% chance of spotting Golden Eagles. One place I can thoroughly endorse won't be on any visitor guide, it's our local walk, a one mile circular of Kingscross taking in the headland at the Viking Fort, with spectacular mountain views and more, it has a unique tranquility. Before I sign off, just one thing, don't be telling everyone just how wonderful Arran is! Anyway I hope the weather holds for you, enjoy, and haste ye back. Duncan 🖐
Thanks for all the tips. I'll have to tell everyone how terrible Arran was then 😂
Thanks Bob, just keep it between ourselves. No crime, no litter, no traffic lights, no roundabouts. Like being in rural Britain in the 1950s 🤔
At least you get lost like the rest of us... return of good old maps are needed...we're enjoying your travels. Thank you, e and g x
Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy. Interesting to hear about Rob Roy. Such beautiful scenery. We have visited Inveraray a few years ago and had a look around the jail. Oops wrong way mrs Satnag! Take care x Julie and Tony x
Beautiful picture of Jenny at Mhor 84. Stunning scenery. This new motorhome is so refined and quiet. You both must be delighted with it. 👍
Very much, thank you.
The average speed cameras record the time the vehicle has travelled between the two cameras and knowing the distance between each camera they calculate your average speed.
Therefore this stops the common practice of slowing down to the speed limit only when passing the camera.
A beautiful video! 👍
So funny. We have done that in North Wales😂😂😂 Hope you found it.
We did, in tomorrow's video.
Watching the vlog just now Bob and The Vital Spark was a TV show during the 60/70's it was Para Handys boat 🚢 😂
Yes, one of our favourite shows!

I remember the place in Balquidder when it was a pub on the main road.
Best to check campsite entrance on Google maps! I’ve stayed at that campsite, luckily drove straight there!
Good old technology eh? Looking forward to the next video :). Ian
Lovely to see all the roads we’ve been down lately - albeit in the opposite direction.
We’ve used that Satnav for eight months now - I really don’t like it at all!! 😃. So many errors although we’ve need to some pretty outlying places.
Anyway safe travels Bob and Jenny.
It's one of the few times it's let us down, strangely.
Nice vlog both...& Poppy although Mrs sat-nag cant be filling you with confidence!!
One of the few times she's let us down.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo That's very true Bob.
